  • I want to show you how to make a Ribeye cap steak! What is better than making your own Ribeye cap steak, the King of steaks? This might be the best steak you will ever have, as tender as tenderloin but much tastier because of the rich marbling. Check out how to master this delicious piece of meat!
    What to do
    1. Set up the grill for indirect cooking at 225 degrees F.
    Slowly reverse sear this Ribeye Cap steak and let it absorb the smoke for about 45 min.
    2. Once it reaches about 110-115 internal temperature, pull it off and bring the grill up to high temperatures for searing.
    3. Sear and let it rest for 10 min for the juices to redistribute and the steak to finish at the perfect 130-135 degrees for medium rare.
    The results: It is super juicy and delicious, with that amazing charcoal flavor!

    This is the third video I've watched on the best way to cook these steaks... it's only 1:20 pm... dinner time can't wait, my mouth is watering thinking about eating.

    Incredible, I just picked some of these up an hour ago, was looking at youtube video's to how some of the big boys were cooking them. I remembered you from the Wagyu video you posted to r/meat! Looked at the publish date and saw you made this video especially for me apparently, thank you! Good thing you used a wood cutting board this time so no one is crying over that, rather than drooling over the meat.

      Unfortunately it depends on where you live... They were pulled from shelves then slowly made their way back where I live. Just picked up a pack of 2 weighing 1.33 lbs to cook for Christmas dinner along with some lobster tails. Hope they come back in stock! Love this cut.

    I just purchased a package of PRIME Ribeye Cap Steaks at COSTCO last week all prepared to grill those babies (all five of them) and then it SNOWED! In the freezer they went until it warms up a bit next week! I knew I should have stayed in Texas, but no, if fell in love with a Montana boy and moved there.....

      I can’t freeze good meat. Others might say it doesn’t matter but I don’t care for it.

    • @porsche944mt
      @porsche944mt 4 роки тому +1

      @@chloe5susan I had to cringe when I put them in the freezer, BUT the key is not freezing it too long. They were only in the freezer for a week. In Texas when you purchase half a cow, there is no way you can eat that much without having to freeze most of it. Just the way of the world...

    I HATE cap steaks! They have ruined me from eating any other steak. Luckily we don't eat steak very often, but always go for cap steaks from Costco. Actually just heated up the leftovers and didn't even need a knife to pull it apart.

    Why do people feel the need to do everything in SLO motion? This isn't a movie, this is real life. While I appreciate the effort, just show it at regular speed and no, we don't need to see inside the charcoal bag at all motion either

      Get Me Out of Here it’s the salt I use, it’s salt crystal, it looks big on camera which is why I use it, it looks good. But it’s actually little salt compared to using normal kitchen salt. 🧂
