NOTE: I'm fully aware that the Wales National Football team now chooses to play its home games at Cardiff City Stadium.
But in the past - they have played here at this stadium, therefore it counts as a football stadium and still goes on my hierarchy.
For those of you that chose to whine about this fact rather than watch the actual video - I despair.
How many hours from Cardiff
Did you really wear the English rose on a tour to The Home of Welsh rugby? Wow! I will not say anything else. Even though I really want to.
@@taffyducks544 if you're one of those easily-offended-snowflakes, that takes exception to someone wearing a shirt of the team they support - then you might need to re-evaluate your life choices. It's commonplace in every other sport in the world, except Football and Rugby Union. Don't even have that problem in Rugby League. If you want my advice - don't be that guy.
@@UltimateBucketList ignore him, as a Welshman I think he is a bell e n d. Hope you enjoyed Cardiff
@@Atticus75 thanks. Yeah Cardiff is always a nice place to visit. Really unpredictable weather on that day. It started off sunny and then after the tour, it was torrential rain!
Amazing Stadium and Interesting to watch before WWE Clash at the Castle comes. Definitly Cool to see the Stadium it will be in when you can't go yourself.
Yeah absolutely. I'm surprised the WWE chose this stadium, but then again - it's the only one with a retractable roof that's big enough in the UK.
It definitely is a cool Stadium i mean Clash at the Castle is going to look awesome inside this amazing Stadium! I just wish WWE could have Wrestlemania
outside of the U.S. in this spectacular Stadium!
Thanks for another great Stadium tour, looking forward to more videos on Wales.
Thanks again Jason!
How many hours from Cardiff
I’ve been there. Was one of my favourite stadiums in any sport. Very easy to navigate and amazingly friendly fans.
I agree!
The atmosphere at a rugby match is amazing. In 2017 me and my girlfriend went there to watch England vs Wales in the Six Nations. I got goosebumps when both anthems played and the day got even sweeter when England scored a late try to win 21-16. The best atmosphere for a rugby away day.
Yes, I believe it's a really good atmosphere for rugby! Thanks Joey!
There are some really sad whiners commenting on this video ... over a point that nobody cares about.
This guy clearly made this video for the fans and all they do is complain.
That seems to be the case with most of my stadium tours videos these days.
I don't think people realise how much work goes into making these things.
And with nobody bothering to watch or share them, the incentive to make more is low - especially when all you get (like you said) are people whining about it.
@@UltimateBucketList that's a real shame man, I think you make really good vids. It's a pity that the people who want more videos are the same people who don't bother sharing them and complain when one actually does come out.
Another excellent video lad, great memories of watching games from Munster rugby, Ireland winning the grand slam here in 2009, bad one being the 2005 FA Cup Final, will definitely have to visit one day
Thanks my friend. There's definitely been some memorable games that have been played here, for sure!
7:50 = heck of a mullet on that kid 😂
I ACTUALLY didn't notice that?! And I was on tour with that kid. Well spotted! 👍
Great video! Hope you enjoyed your time in Cardiff and Wales! Hopefully some more Wales content in the future! 🏴
Thanks! Yes, more Wales content to come ... I just have to get time to edit them now!
Gran video 👍🏻
Precioso Estadio
Thanks Bruno!
I'd love to see Wales win the rugby world cup considering it's their biggest passion and national sport. 🏉🏴
Maybe one day?
Yay, the one tour I've actually been to! (I think going on this tour was the last big thing I did before lockdowns started 😅). Was in a very small group when I went.
It's a decent tour.
Atmosphere at wwe clash at the castle gonna be amazing
Apparently so, yes!
Can't wait to go here for clash at the castle
Yeah, I'm surprised they decided to come here. It'll be a pretty cool event, for sure!
@@UltimateBucketList Yh Me To I order tickets
@@UltimateBucketList it has a retractable roof, hosted world title boxing, why wouldn't they go there?
@@Atticus75 Roman reigns vs drew McIntyre Undisputed Champion Match Televised
Been there 5 times brilliant atmosphere
I believe so. It looks amazing from the TV.
One of my favorite growing up.. Love the steep stairs.
Yeah, the steepness did surprise me ... I've not been to many stadiums that were like that.
Went in 2006 for a play-off game with the roof closed, haven't experienced a better atmosphere since. Always find it interesting that the two-tiered end is actually a section of the previous stadium, I thought this was for posterity but apparently it's more for practical reasons to protect the structures behind it.
Jon it is a legacy of the WRU Chief Executive instead of paying Cardiff rugby club in the late 1990s to use the smaller ground for access to the building site they paid extra millions for a redesign that kept the old part of the previous ground instead. Bizzare but true.
Yes, that's correct. The section of the previous stadium was kept intentionally.
Interesting to note the height and angle of the top tier, plus the roof hanging over it. Gives a real acrophobic tone. Reminds me of when I did the Santiago Bernabeu tour in Madrid years ago.
Yes, I believe you're correct. It's very similar, for sure.
It was also used As a Temporarily Venue for Events that were held at Wembley
That's correct, yes.
@@UltimateBucketList If the FA Cup Semi Finals were hold at Neutral Grounds again this would be one of them
@@alexmacleod3728 They won't be for the foreseeable future. Wembley cost so much to build that they have to recuperate the costs by holding semi's and finals there for the next 27 years.
Hi im sitting in L29 Row 10 Seat 18 for clash at castle. How close do you think this will be from the ring, will i have a good view
that's not bad at all. You're about 60 yards from the ring, but that's not a bad seat. It's infinitely worse in the higher tiers.
clash at the castle🔥🔥
Yes.
Give Croke Park (aka GAA headquarters) a look in Dublin if you get a chance, def worthwhile!
I plan to!
Hi Ninh I just did a stadium tour of the Principality Stadium and I said that you’re not allowed to take videos. But I had a great time there.
Really?! They said no such thing when I went?
Glad you had a good time still!
Leon vs Usman Trilogy at this stadium would be amazing!!! 🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧👏👏👏
It's a good fight venue!
a fantastic video your videos are the best
Thanks Stuart, glad you like them.
Can't wait to see this stadium in person at clash at the castle
Great! Hope you have a wonderful time in the Welsh capital! 😀
(BTW: check out my Cardiff guide video ua-cam.com/video/MdZpF4mkD6o/v-deo.html if you aren't familiar with the city) 👍
Great video!
Thanks bro. I hope you actually watched it all the way through, rather than watch the first 10 seconds, then whine about it like some of the other people on here.
@@UltimateBucketList I did watch the whole video! I make an effort to do that in channels that i like :)
@@omrivol appreciate that man, thanks!
i went there to see a monster truck show and it was great
Monster Truck eh? Sounds fun!

Thanks.
WWE here 2022 excited 😊
Have fun if you're going!
Great video as always 👍
Thanks Chris!
I'm there for WWE in a few weeks and need to get tickets, what seating could you recommend - Was you in the Upper Tier or Mid Tier or Lower Tier?
I'll be surprised if there are any left?
Mid tier will be super expensive as that's considered the best view.
Upper tier - you're incredibly far away.
Lower tier is probably best, but good luck getting tickets.
@@UltimateBucketList thats what I thought, would you say lower tier is considered good as well?
@@ABMultimediaDesigner if you can get tickets to the lower tier (or even the floor), it'll be a significantly better view than the nosebleeds. In short: avoid the upper tier!
@@UltimateBucketList well the thing is, I was gonna get L9 as there were some seats in the 6th row to front, unfortunately somebody napped them (my fault for not actioning sooner but was waiting on an answer from somebody). Obviously Mid-Tier was better to see everything at a respectable view, but sadly they are charging much more for that
@@ABMultimediaDesigner I just had a look myself (not that I'm going, just out of curiosity) - those ticket prices are insane! Anything other than a nosebleed simply isn't affordable. Obviously you've seen from this video what the view from the nosebleeds are like. It's up to you though.
Was lucky enough to go to the 2015 RWC and watch NZ demolish France. Was too young to go to the game in 2007, but getting a chance to watch both quarter final and then the semi-final in Twickenham was a dream come true
Sweet! Must have been a great atmosphere!
The gigs were rammstein and Ed sheeran that’s why the ground was covered and the rammstein gig was not finished there because they added FIRE
That makes sense.
That moment when you zoomed in on the score of millwall vs Man Utd my heart broke again like it did in 2004 😭😭
To be honest, you guys weren't close to winning that one on that day.
I think if it was a closer game, it might be more painful. That said, I'm pretty sure that's the last time we won the damn thing.
@@UltimateBucketList it’s more because we don’t win anything
@@Overkill2008 fair point!
Hi UBL! What Seat Do You Suggest For A Wrestling Event Such as Clash At The Castle! I was thinking L26-L22 But Im Not Sure If The View Will Be Good Or If the Wrestlers Will Look like Ants From That distance! Also is the L26 The Red Middle Section At 5:15 Just want to get a rough understanding of how the sections in the stadium are layed out! Thanks!
Hi. L26 is in the lower tier in the corner, so you should be fine. Okay, you're far away from the ring, but it'll be nowhere near as bad as the upper tiers, where they are incredible steep!
Hey man just curious, do you ever get tired of stadium tours? I really enjoy them and Im sure you do too but I notice you do them a lot.
I actually do get sick of them. I do it mainly to keep a specific section of my subscriber base happy.
But recently, they've become incredibly whiny and they don't tend to share my videos, which means that my viewer metrics are way down and motivation to make more is low.
If it carries on, I'll just stop doing them.
@@UltimateBucketList aww thats a shame but I do understand. I love your stadium tours videos but if you ever do decide to branch out that's perfectly understandable. Unfortunate that you can't please everyone smh.
Interesting, being from the US. I luv my NFL Football. But willing to learn of other sports! Enjoying your videos!👍
Thanks! Yes, Cardiff is the epicentre of Rugby in Wales ... and these fans take this sport seriously!
The nfl isnt really popular here in wales not gonna l couldnt name 1 american football player lol I love rugby but rugby to you is probably what the nfl is like to me don't really know a whole lot about it and the rules
I played there not so long ago. It is a crazy experience stepping foot onto the pitch
Nice!
Great video. Maybe make a country/province tour of wales if you can
Thanks. I'm making a few city guides for Wales (like one for Cardiff) and I'll probably explore some of the national parks etc.

I've done the stadium tour multiple times over the last 7 years (barring during the lockdowns of course) and we've never been allowed to sit in the stand by the tunnel
Oh really? I was told we weren't allowed because they're prepping for the Ed Sheeran concert?!
Fantastic stadium i was there in 2015
It really is.
Hello bro ... It will be great drew McIntyre vs Brock Lesnar or Roman Reigns at clash at the castle .. In UK 😀😀

I've to the millennium once it was wales v scotland and I was right at the top I could barely see the players
We are there in May!
I hope you enjoy the experience!
Really good video but you showed videos of the Cardiff city stadium instead in parts - that’s the unofficial home of the wales football team now and as you said, the principality is for rugby. Good video though!
Yes I knew I did, but I just didn't have footage of Wales Football playing at the Principality. Thanks.
One day do the aviva stadium in Dublin the home of the Irish football and rugby team
+Croke Park
Sure, why not. Though they've currently stopped doing tours of the Aviva.
Dad and I went to see Rammstein there in 2022.
That would have been awesome!
Thanks for not lingering on the football match board for long enough for me to find when Grimsby lost to Cheltenham there in 2006 😂 😂
fair share of United losses on there too!

You should do bt murrayfield stadium
You've not seen my latest video on Edinburgh, have you?

Umm, sure. Thanks.
My legs were shaking like mad after I went up to the top 🙈
Yeah, it's very high. Vertigo definitely sets in ... I think it's the angle of the seats.
Please do croke park stadium tour
If I get time to go over there, yeah.
Why do they want to play at a smaller stadium?
Better atmosphere.
Here for Beyoncé!
Cool! Enjoy!
1:11 Cardiff blues changed their name to cardiff rugby
Yes
What did you make of liverpool suffering to real madrid in the champions league final 🤔
They didn't 'suffer' at all. They played well enough to win! Real just took their chances and Liverpool couldn't put their chances away. That's the only difference.
In Wales rugby union is the popular sport. But football isn't far behind. Still there's room for other sports in Wales.
Yes.
@UltimateBucketList will you do Allianz Arena please?

Thanks.
Do Leeds United Elland Road
I'll think about it. But given my last few Stadium Tours bombed, there's not much impetus to make more.
@@UltimateBucketList there’s plenty to do still, midlands clubs like vill, wolves, west brom and birmingham. Pls continue I really like to watch your tours
@@matteofarrugia6935 you don't understand ... I'm not saying there aren't stadium tours left to do. The problem is nobody watches or shares them. If they don't complain, they're requesting tours of stadiums that they'll never watch,.
Did you see Gareth Bale there?
Not personally, no. He's too busy winning the Champions League with Real Madrid.
Haha good answer
Baku olympic stadium is more of a home to the Welsh national football team than this stadium.
There's talk of returning here so maybe your video will age well but it's inaccurate at the moment

Great video but I’m in complete disrespect as you wore an England shirt to the welsh stadium on a tour 😢.

Rugby, football is my sport. I’m a proud Welshman and can’t stand toxic England fans.
@@ThatCarguyLouie The 'toxic England rugby fans' you're referring to, there's a lot less of them than you think.
Well oVs your not a “toxic fan” but I still think that’s disrespectful. Think what you think.
@@ThatCarguyLouie But is it really? Do away fans not wear their team colours in opposing stadiums on matchdays? Are people not allowed to wear what they want in a civilised western countries?
I think you'll find that the moment you make this a problem, it becomes a problem for you and you alone. The rest of the world really doesn't care or find it 'disrespectful' in the least.
It’s modern
It certainly is.

How many hours from Cardiff
Loved the video, loved the tour, love your passion for England, but mentioning "Come on England" and pointing at your badge at every opportunity kind of took my attention away from the fact you were visiting Wales. It seems like a pointless addition to your video, and comes across somewhat disrespectful towards the country you're visiting. There's banter but then there's constant blowing your own trumpet.
Thanks for your comment.
It makes me laugh in disbelief that people are in uproar over someone showing support ... for a team they support?!
It's commonplace in every other sport (particularly American ones) and my light-hearted banter is nothing ... particularly in a country that's a co-equal sovereign nation that's effectively part of the same country. Think about it: I was really trying to be 'disrespectful' - there are far worse things I could have done.
In summary: if that's the sort of thing that you find 'disrespectful', then I actually feel sorry for you.
Because you have effectively proven that people really have turned into snowflakes and people really are offended by everything these days.

Shame on u. Wearing that england top.
Another easily offended snowflake. Such a shame that this is the sort of thing that upsets people these days.
Ingerlund are Overrated - 55million vs 3Million. Same amount of Six Nations titles (Outright and Shared), the only difference between them is....One World Cup! One! So one Title over 120 years of History.
The Vs Record is also slightly in favour of England. Wales is far more impressive!
BTW, I doubt you'll see all of Wales' Trophies, they hide them away when foreigners come around. Typically Welsh, always made to feel ashamed of their success.
Biased much? The record still favours England, they've still won more outright 6N titles and that's one World Cup that Wales hasn't won.
However way you try and justify it - the numbers are objective.
The fact that you intentionally misspelled 'England' and making reference to 'foreigners' says it all about your character. What a pity.
@@UltimateBucketList I spelt it how its pronounced. Phonetically! I know, English isn't a phonetic language now is it? As for The titles... context matters, Infrastructure, Funding, Player Pool. Wales is miles behind England in these regards, so to by anywhere close, let alone level in Six nations titles is outright outstanding. The fact you claim im biased while not admitting this objective fact shows you to be as much, if not more biased.
@@taffyducks544 imagine trying to toot wales' horn and trying to justify things like infrastructure, whilst forgetting that you also have a decent setup and still haven't won as much. scotland hasn't won as much either, but we don't pretend that we're better than england. your salty bias is evident for everyone to see, and to accuse him of 'being biased' when he rightly put you in your place, is the saddest thing I've seen in a while. 🤡
