Exactly. And these bowlers are still able to generate similar delivery speeds without bending their arm meaning they can’t use the natural ergonomics advantage of the human joints and kinematic. Simply based on that we can already see that cricket bowling is way superior than baseball pitching lol😂
Bowling needs more skill then pitching tbh. Swinging a baseball ball in air while throwing is possible with every throw by virtue of the characteristics stitches of a baseball ball (which call seam in cricket ball) and i know that to have specific type swing like a Splitter, Curveball etc needs more skill, but it will always swing if you throw it with enough force and with a little skill. While in cricket it depends on the environment and pitch, and bowlers who can take even 2-3 top order wickets in a flat pitch on a good batting ambiance are someone with special skills.
@@RyanSheppard-tq4pg how about you train cricket for a month and ask someone that plays cricket to train baseball and then compare your skills in both sports. Let see who can adapt faster. Cricketers always play full tossed balls that you call pitches. The ones that come to you without bouncing of the ground. Let’s see how you handle the pitches that bounces off the ground. 😆 I have played both and it is obvious that cricket is much more harder. The fact that you can’t hit a batter in baseball but can hit batter (bouncers and body line bowling) in cricket makes it obvious for batter to wear gears like big fkin gloves, pads, arm guard, chest guard, thigh guard, and helmet. Now imagine a baseball player running with that across the bases.
@user-oo1ie4du5k okay Punjabi..you played softball likely anyway. If baseball players adapted their swings to blocking stances they'd be fine. Watch any cricketer try baseball and they reveal what unatheltic and uncoordinated people they are.
Without knowing how to research would play out, one strategy could be to look at what % of 16-18 year old baseball players make it to the MLB vs 16-18 year old cricketers who have success at the highest level of cricket. I'm not sure what it is for cricketers, but here are the probabilities for the major sports in the U.S. : High School (HS) to Pro basketball - .03%, HS to pro Football - .09%, HS to pro Baseball - .5%, HS to Pro hockey - .4% Interestingly, it seems the hardest sport to become a pro in is basketball. However, the reason for this might be there are much fewer players on a basketball team then on a baseball team. Bringing this back to Baseball/Cricket, maybe the best source of information, oddly enough, would be Japan. While their best baseball team in the Nippon Professional Baseball would be competitive, they might win 50-60 games in a MLB season and finish last. However the Nippon Professional Baseball league is a high level of baseball, and Japan also has a national cricket team. So lets reach out to some Japanese and pose the question of which sport requires more skill.
In baseball you have to pitch in imaginary 3x3 feet square , cant hit the batsman, cant target his head or toes. Whereas in cricket you can pitch(bounce) the ball anywhere on a pitch that is 22 yards long and based on type of the clay, weather, moisture and condition, the ball will behave differently and you can target the batsman, anywhere from ankle to head is legal. So ofcourse its hard to hit the ball plus fast bowlers get the swing in the air just like baseball pitchers but they also get secondary movement on the ball from the pitch and how much bounce you get from the pitch makes it even more tricky.
No way you didn't tell us about the type of deliveries baseball bowlers bow,all i see they boweling full toss all the time, meanwhile in cricket bowlers bowl full toss, Yorker, swing, inswing, outswing, carron, bouncer, shortball, slower delevery, slower Yorker etc Clearly cricket is toughest and most entertaining sport in the world,No sport come close to cricket in term of skill, tough, and entertainment ❤️☝️

I appreciate that!🏆
I couldn't hear a single word about the round arm bowling in cricket which is way more difficult than just throwing the ball

So you don't watch baseball. Thx lol. You cricketers Crack me up.

A lot of people can’t even get the ball down the 22yards with a straight arm. So let’s not get too far ahead of ourselves 😂

Bowling is definitely way harder than you think. You use a totally different set of muscles to do the same thing when compared to baseball
In one game player struggle even with flat bat and in another game player use a tiny thin bat. Then it's clear cricket bowling need more skill.

Cricket is a more skill oriented game . There are huge varieties of bowling technique in cricket . Cricket is a beautiful game
Baseball pitchers throw full toss in cricket language, easiest to hit for a six...
Every cricketers will become pitcher easily.😂.. But proper bowling auction to get practice for several years
