Now that another video (FINALLY) is posted, I want to point out something. Now please, don't get me wrong as I have been a subscriber of yours even before the name change. 11 months ago, almost 12 actually, you posted a video that your editor is leaving. Fine. You were looking for one for approximately 1 month, if I am not mistaken. Since then (10 months +/- couple of days), 5 videos (excluding this one, which is 6th BTW) have been posted with a total runtime of 125 minutes. Let's take 12p for easier math. So 10 months, totalling 1760 work hours (at least here, each month is 176 work hours; but it might be different for you) to produce all of that? Either my math is waaay off, or something is not quite right here. You keep saying quality over quantity, but there are smaller channels which produce more videos of sams or similar quality. To put this into perspective, the current editor spent 14 something HOURS for each minute of content. I know editing wasn't the only task, but even if that time goes down to 7 hours per minute, it is way too much. This is not a rant, it is just a strong point (or points) from a concerned viewer. I (and probably others as well) would like to see more content. That is why I asked if raw, unedited footage from you is available anywhere, because majority is cut. I don't care if you swear when recording, but I do understand this is family friendly channel and I respect that. I'd be happy to pay for an access to all of that content, before it is purged from existence. What I am saying is, maybe current editor is not ready to take that job yet? We haven't even seen his recording style. So that means the videos are months old, not showing the current situation. Best, FT
We didn't spend that many hours working on the grind, and we've made lots of videos for internal use; I've also scrapped several drafts that I wasn't satisfied with. A new person is now in charge of the grind (full-time); their first episode is being edited now, it was filmed 2 weeks ago at the Cosmic Clash. The grind is only 1 of many projects that our team works on, but we are committed to investing further into it this season. We are fundraising for the first time, so we'll see what happens. What do you want to do with the raw content?
@@JasonLayton I see... I didn't know about the sude projects. Surely, internal videos like educating new members, parents etc is important. It just felt Alex was more consistent with uploads, and episodes were longer. I would love to see the content you guys did if you are ever planning on releasing it (a new channel, perhaps?). When you start fundraising, I definitely want to be a supporter because I would really like to see this channel take off, it has good and entertaining content. Regarding raw footage, whenever I get the chance to get raw videos, I download them, watch the full thing and create a "sum" video of all the bits and bobs I liked. Original file is then stored on my server, until I fill the rest of space. Once that happens, I might consider deleting some of the content - but I always keep adding more space, currently sitting at a comfy 70 TB
