What do we do in proxy? Mines doesn’t seem to keep the connection it comes and goes until it disables than I need to restart even after doing what video said.

Thanks for your efforts. My MacBook didn't have some of the texts that you said to click on. I have "no airport card installed" when I click on the non-active wi-fi icon at the top menu bar. I admit that I'm a klutz when it comes to computers. I also called the Mac help line with no result there, either.

Great video I’ll give that a shot as soon as I can, mine is iMac from 2010 and showing “ Wi-Fi no hardware installed” i reset and tried so many options press this press that even the Apple support couldn’t help me, even the ethernet wired connection directly to the modem is not working at this time but I’ll give this a shot.

When i try to turn my wifi on, it doesn't turn on for some reason, like it keeps turning off no matter how many times I turn it on. So I changed my location, and restarted my laptop, and when i changed it back to automatic, it worked for sometime. But later, it automatically turnes off again, and it won't turn back on.

Very good explanation; thanks. My problem was that if I restarted my MacBook Pro (OS 10.14.6) it would connect to the internet and work for a few minutes in which I could get on the interenet and receive and send mail. Then it would appear to be connected but nothing -- internet or mail -- would load. I am hoping this works! Thank you!

This video you did explaining adding a "Test" wifi location is great. But do these same instructions also work for hardwired "Ethernet" connection? I used to be able to go to my Ethernet connection setting and turn it "Off" (and it would turn yellow) whenever I wanted. Then, when I'd simply go back to turn it "ON" again whenever I wanted and it would turn green. However, something happened to my Ethernet connection and when I turn it "OFF", it actually doesn't turn it off, it just stays on. So just wondering if you have a solution for my particular issue?
