Wow!!!! SO MANY ORCHIDS. This show did not disappoint. Too many vendors for a shorter video.

- OFE Orchid & Supplies runs an orchid and plant fair monthly during its peak season. This fair was their December fair and their last of 2023. They outdid themselves with a great lineup of 14 orchid and orchid related vendors. Plus this time around they got 2 awesome Hoya growers as well as Aroids vendors and orchid merchandise like soaps, jewelry, and candles. I tried very much to fit it all in one hour, but after much editing the best was 1:22. I really wanted to honor each vendor. They all participated in a great event and it would be a shame to have left anyone out. Hope you enjoy this incredible episode fully picked with some of the most amazing orchids. That George King "Southern Cross" Teyry picked up was a Stunner I lost mine. Southern Cross is hard to find / usually goes for BIG $$. Wish I could have been there to snatch it up for $75.
Regarding the _last vendor you visited: The multi-hangers on a pole... I happened to have 2 Stainless Steel rolling IV poles (each has 4 hooks) they can be extended up to almost the ceiling & PERFECT for Vandas :)

I don’t hear from Blanca since she became a grandmother. Laz is doing great. He’s not doing the orchid thing anymore. He ran out of space. So he didn’t see the purpose of going to any orchid shows anymore. But we do hang out.

Another great video!! I was there on Sunday and bought a Cattleya Walkeriana semi alba from Krull Smith, it had three blooms. They had great vendors this time and lots of Cattleya in bloom.
I love that orchid. I would like to own a couple of more for the fragrance. 💚

Nelson I think that flower was a coelogyne ? Maybe mayeriana? It’s like pandurata but a little smaller ? That lip screams coelogyne ?

That was not a Gongora, it was a Stanhopea. The leaf (per bulb) count cannot be considered when differentiating between Gongora and Stanhopea as some Gongora only have 1 leaf also. Stanhopea and Gongora flowers are vastly different both size wise, flower count and the length each are in flower
