- In my orchid festival visits, I always come across viewers that want to share their collection photos with me in their phone. Collector Maria really blew my mind with her beautiful orchids at the last OFE Orchid Fair. She has orchids that are decades old. The size and amount of flowers on some of the orchids are just breathtaking. This video promises to inspire anyone who loves orchids and even those who are just curious. Blanca should try to emulate Maria's Orchid Garden. The Large Shade House + tree covered paths are charming. So much more Natural than Scorched Orchids Tortured/Tied to palm trees.

Thank you! It actually did feel like a mini botanical garden. I was so impressed at the mini wall inside the greenhouse. The feeling in there was amazing. All in all it was breathtaking.💚

Bueenos dias Nelson. I only recently discovered your chnnel and I binge-watched for two days. Iam very inspired by your presentations. I was born in Calif. where I got my first orchid when I was 12 years old. Since then, I lived in Hawai'i for nearly 20 years before touring 8 other countries then landing in Panama and Mexico where I now live. This means I cannot visit any of the vendors you profile unless I revisit Florida (I lived in t. Lauderdale for 1.5 years) but the inspiration I get from your videos pumps me up on my plan to create a botabical garden focusing strongly on orchids in southern Mexico. Looking for property now in between watching your shows. Thank you so much for what I consider to be your contribution to my own experience.

What in the world is that amazing orchid you have 5 seconds in on your intro. It looks like some sort of brassavola cucullata hybrid. The peach tones with that purple lip is amazing. I tried looking at the clip art of all your videos to find the name in a video but couldn't find the picture.
Hi there! That brassavola hybrid was shot in a nursery. I believe I did buy years ago, but it has not bloomed. I totally forgot about that orchid. I have had it in my intro because of its rare beauty. I honestly don’t remember the name

The best Home Depot for orchids is Hawaii. You should check out Orchids In Paradise. She goes to her Home Depot’s in Hawaii and showcases all their selections. Sometimes it looks like an orchid fair more than a big box store.

Nelson you’ve done it again. Amazing video and this lady have so much collections and awards. Congratulations to her 🎉🎉🎉. Just to mention in one of her cleaning regime for orchid leaves is to used Alcohol and detergent with water - I used this too, I can’t spray anything strong because of my husky who sniffs everything 😂. Thanks again for sharing ❤
Thank you! Yes she uses the alcohol mix as her primary cleaning of leaves and pests. I’ve been cleaning my leaves first before I use any harsh chemicals. My cats are all the area so I need to be carful. Plus I encourage allot of butterflies and bees in my garden. I want to keep them safe as well. 🦋🐝🐈🐈⬛
