Running the pumps in citric acid or vinegar mixture for several hours does a great job and disassembling afterwords you can see everything is almost 100% clean.
Shout out to them old pumps though, 3yrs with no maintenance, and still pumping
for real for real!🫡
Soak the pumps in some citric acid for an hour and runs them for 20 mins afterwards. The tear them down for spares. Heck if they last three years without a clean they are strong little pumps worth keeping
For sure I’m keeping them as backups! Just wanted to try and get that temp down a bit!
Your lucky I brought the 1.5 to replace the reefer pump I brought from the hardware store pond section. Had the same flow and the Sicce made so much noise it’s now my water mixing pump
Watch your temps with those SICCE ac pumps! I use a 4.0 one to mix salt in 55 gallon drum and it heated the water to 81F
You got to get rid of the hood and put a fan on the rim of the tank, connect it to a temperature controller and your heat issue will go away but you will have way more evaporation but your corals will be a lot happier
Going outside in flooded weather with chanclas really resinated with me 😂

Nice upgrade. Go into settings ( 3 bars top of app) It's under Profile, and you can change temp to F.

All you had to do is clean the old pumps. They come apart and if cleaned they would work just like new

My SDC loses Wi-Fi connection constantly. Not sure why all these aquarium companies have so many issues with making quality software. All my EcoTech gear has just recently become reliable about staying connected to Mobius. Not quite what one would expect from such expensive gear.
I hear you. My reeflink is like that lol never works when you need it to 😩 but when I don’t need to change anything man that light is always blue and ready to go lol
