This lady is ' larger than life! ' I'm a 48 year old Englishman, so there won't be any Americanism within this statement, but what I will say is: I find Leslie very watchable; she's upfront and seems like an actual genuine person; and I like that in my lady-folk. I did say that I wasn't going to give an Americanism, but I feel that one is required at this particular juncture: you go girl! ;-)

I want to support her as she is an underdog, but I think "racist, obnoxious, and unfunny" is an accurate summary unfortunately. She doesn't seem like a bad person though, and I think alot of this is acting, but I don't want to see loud black women make really cheap unfunny jokes about white people over and over. That's a decade out of date.
(especially given she is in a position where she is representing all black women as a leading black female character in the world). When I see minorities leading, I would also like to see abit of elegance, class and confidence to show the world that minorities are not as inferior as they have been treated in recent history. I don't enjoy seeing black women who think they are better than the next person, and black men who turn up in a baseball cap, sweats and on drugs)
