Thank you for uploading this video it helped me find the leak on my 2001 gmc yukon it had a small leak on that same plastic fitting I got the same exact metal fitting from doorman and installed it just how did.
sweet diy repair! nice use of fast forward instead of magic jump cuts and also getting the right angles. if ya ever do the 2x heater hose quick disconnect lines, i've only seen one person replace it with the metal dorman upgrade, and would like to see how you'd go about the process. cheers!
It should, as they share the same engine and should have similar hose setups, but I don't know for sure since SUVs like the Tahoe and Suburban might have rear heat and that might make a difference. Since this piece comes off of the water pump I think it should be the same.
You will have to add some coolant, at least up to the full when cold line on the reservoir, then start the engine and let the coolant circulate and bleed any air out and add more while the engine is running until it reaches the full when cold mark once again.
Lmao, I was just discovering AI generated songs and trying to see what some of these songs with ridiculous titles were actually saying lol, pretty amazing technology lol. That song though, not great 🤣

Will it work on a Tahoe 01 too by chance

With loosing coolant do you have to add coolant & bleed the system after?

or you drain first and keep it until you finish the work, then fill it again
