Why don't brand name companies use QR codes? They can put it on the label and when you scan with your phone you can confirm with the manufacturer's app or website.
Very good point, Ralph Lauren already started QR codes with their products (not all yet) As I'm aware Moncler you can check the authenticity by the code online as well Stone Island got the Certilogo. The others should do the same to avoid counterfeit products.
