Great and very thorough video. I mean that. I've been watching polo reviews for 3 weeks now lol. I was in the same boat as you, skeptical about psycho bunny but I'm going to have to give them a try now. Maybe one with a logo that is not so prominent.
I would like to see your take on the J Crew polo, and a polo that is made in USA.
Thanks for taking your time and making this video. Again, great stuff.
@@milkyISO Appreciate the comment man. I'm planning to make another polo video this summer and will try out J Crew for sure
I just always prefer the sleekness of the Fred Perry aesthetic, the colour combinations and sharpness amplified by the stripes and logo work so well
Same, Fred Perry polos are a classic. Just wish it fits better on me
Best I have ever worn was J Crew×Lacoste that seems to have been scratched. Always on a sale for around $80, heavier pique, slimmed out, tennis tail, 4 years old still holds a good shape.
I wish they still made these. I used to hate polos and fell in love with those.
I use Banana Republic Lux Touch polo shirts to the office. They’re the best value, being affordable and frequently on sale and are silky smooth. They won’t last too long though, with the collar giving in first.
Agreed!!!!!
Ty for the polo shirt video much appreciate bro
As an avid boss wearer you chose the most popular selling boss polo but not the most equivalent to your other purchases, the paddy pro is more of a sports polo to wear while golfing or doing activities so the polyester helps with moisture wicking. I would normally recommend the firenze they’re usually 100% pima cotton and more aligned with your other choices
Polo shirt brands I like and recommend are Ralph Lauren, Lacoste, Hugo Boss, Charles Tyrwhitt, Gran Sasso, Fynch Hatton, Orlebar Brown, Fred Perry and Tommy Hilfiger. Of course, chose 100% pique cotton and the proper fit for you.
Thanks for the recommendations. I'm working on a part 2 for this summer and will include some of your recs
I subscribed because you made a long Reddit post along with this video and I think that’s super cool
Happy to see that you took time to check out my video. It did take me multiple weekends to make this video along with the reddit post so much appreciate your support!
Nice job with this video. Just discovered your channel today, and enjoyed this one. I find Lacoste's brand history to be particularly interesting, as an entire generation still refers to them as IZOD because of the long term licensing deal that was in place. Lacoste does have the tendency to shrink in the dryer, however the color remains intact after years of wear & washing.
Thanks for watching. New video on leather sneakers coming out tomorrow morning! Interesting, IZOD clothing is a lot cheaper than Lacoste so wasn't aware they did a collab in the past. And yes, the color and quality is stilling holding up for my Lacoste polos.
Collar&CO THE BEST IN MY OPINION. LOVE the stiff collar holds it shape and looks crisp always.
If only psycho bunny had a better looking logo
-10 points for the logo lol
@@MensFashionFiles can you make another video on best polos brands that doesn’t have logos on them?
Agree. I’ve never bought, and never will, anything from this brand because of the terrible logo and branding.
Yeah, I wouldn’t wear it for that reason
The logo is the best part. What about it do you guys not like?
I really like Spoke polos. Would love to see you review those in the future.
I'm a Ralph Lauren head forever, but I do like Collar & Co as well as a newcomer in the shirt game!
ME TOOO LOL
Brilliant commentary.
I've been a fan of PB for a while now and definitely agree with your rating of the brand. The first brand you featured has peaked my curiosity 🤔. I see one in my future 😊
appreciate the comment!
Nice video and list. I will have ALFANI in my top 3. The medium fit is made for me.
thanks for the recommendation. ill check ALFANI out for sure!
Fred Perry for sure - becasusr is so perfect fit also at the neck
What about Bally, Armani, Tom Ford and Versace polos. Have you looked at those? Do you now who has the shortest straight cut polo length because I dont like long ones and short from front and long from back?
Nice breakdown.
100% agree with you on the Fred Perry arms, a right royal PITA. Top botton should always be done up on a Fred Perry.
Been wearing polo as casual since i live in asia, lacoste but im looking at psycho bunny
I have Fred Perry, Lacoste and Ralph Lauren polos, and I have none of the problems you described in the video.
Just got Ralph Lauren's soft cotton polo shirt recently. Amazing and so comfortable. Might be my new favorite now
@@MensFashionFilesyou should have tested the L1212 instead , a bit longer and better quality … and please no dryer on Lacoste polo. Every shop advices that…
How does Psycho Bunny construction compare to what Wonder Looper does?
I watched this video to try to find a psycho bunny alternative in terms of fabric quality. I guess I'll have to keep looking.
Cuts makes a good polo if you can get it in same. Wyr Wear is a great budget option. Really soft shirts. Swet Tailor is high on my list too. Decent price & great quality.
I actually bought a polo from Fresh Clean Tees last year & it was pretty decent.
Thanks for the recs. How's the quality on the fresh clean tees polo? Prices look very attractive
@@MensFashionFiles they’re unstructured polos so not stiff. I bit longer than some others but not bad. Nice collars. Soft fabric. Nice selection of colors. They offer deals pretty often so definitely worth a look.
Great vid!
Uniqlo polo are also good even though sizing fit must be their biggest issue
Nice vid!
ty
fred perry is my love
Never heard of Psycho Bunny, but you've convinced me to eventually try out one of their products!
Great quality but the branding is really something haha
There super good and comfortable and dont shrink at all you should get a polo and a tee there super comfy and have allot of colors to choose
If only the branding didn't look like absolute shit
How csn u give RL polo a score of 9 when the collars roll after 1 or 2 washes? Spent over 100 and now it looks like its 5-10 years old after a few months. Not good.
I'm a big fan of Paul Smith clothing, I buy from the Paul Smith permanent sale shop in Avery Row, off Oxford Street , London.
First ever polo I bought was a Fred Perry, I bought the exact same Lacoste polo, the L1212 but in light pink in the end of 2014. Since then to now I have bought 20-30 polos from Lacoste, all are extremely good quality and I have washed my pink one probably around 100 times now still has all of its colour and didn’t shrink one bit also own the same amount of Ralph Lauren polo shirts both are iconic Lacoste being more but, psycho bunny stole the button design from them. Since Lacoste invented the polo and because of its quality It will always be number 1 for me.
Also Hugo boss recently split to separate brands, Hugo, and boss. Weirdly, your polo is obviously boss.
Brooks brothers makes a really good pique polo also- I love Lacoste but have been wearing brooks brothers and Ralph Lauren purple label polos
I ended up getting a Brooks brothers polo because of your comment. It really is a great polo! I did a brief review of it in my latest polo video: ua-cam.com/video/5RbD02h6ZPE/v-deo.html
CRAZYY VALUE THANKS BABY BOYYYYY
YEAAA
Ralph Lauren does it for me always.
classic for sure
Never heard of Psycho Bunny before but I may just pull the trigger. Even though they are way more expensive than the American Eagle ones I usually get I think this may be a buy it for life kinda thing where they will last me for years and years to come given the premia cotton.
It's a lot more comfortable than AE for sure.
Fred perry 💯
Would’ve loved a United Colors of Benetton Polo Comparison
Thanks for the recommendation, I'm working on a part 2 coming this summer
What about brooks brothers since Ralph Lauren based his design of there polo
wow didnt know Brooks brothers had supima polos for $50. I gotta check them out next
Ralph Lauren, Classic Fit, of course.
Just got Ralph Lauren's soft cotton polo shirt recently. Amazing and so comfortable. Might be my new favorite now
Curious that I didn't see any comments on US Polo Ass below. I heard good things about their Polos and quality. I just ordered one so I will check how they are, it seems they are level below RL (on price) but with good quality.
Also, I have a Lacoste Polo which I got online for a pricing mistake from the website (really, got it for a steal price xD) and color maintains and it didn't shrink (I also pay attention how I wash it), so Lacoste approved ✅
In the future, I will definitely go for a RL one, they are similar price as HB but for me they are more iconic. Curious if they will leave up to their reputation.
4 and 5 the best.
It's a shame that you don't have more followers
Thanks brother, being a small youtuber is rough
Fred Perry always!!
the sleeves though
Am I the only person who loves the psycho bunny logo?
youre a rare breed haha
I like it as well
Not love it, but kinda like it 🤗😅
Yes
What about harmont & Blaine polos
Thanks for the recommendation, I'm working on a part 2 coming this summer
Trigema any day, they are so durable, have one which I have been using for 6 years , with very minimal fade.
Thanks for the recommendation, I'm working on a part 2 coming this summer
Polo Ralph lauren My Fav
I think the ribbed texture Ben Hogan Polos are the Absoulte Best ( sorry if you're too insecure or too vain to shop Walmart ) Ben Hogan plos and pants are great
Ralph Lauren is and always will be my favorite polo brand, after Lacoste and Tommy Hilfiger I think
Can someone please explain why the back tends to be longer than the front with many please?
I don't get it
No real purpose, it's all for aesthetics
@@MensFashionFilesthat's not true. It's so that when you tuck it in, the shirt stays tucked in when you bend over. Hardly anyone wears them tucked in these days though, so it's not something people think about. I just avoid them as they look silly untucked.
@@jt1559Unless you are a mob/cartel boss having a business brunch meeting on a private beach, Tucker in polo shirt, Italian leather Versace belt, Versace trousers and a pair leather shoes Made from 1 piece of leather. (no socks). 1:42
What about La Martina?
not too familiar with them but they look solid!
I had to return my Collars and Co shirts. I couldn't get past the gaping hard collars, true they hold shape but a gaping collar has historically been viewed as ill fitting, couple that with that totally odd solid collar and well, return worthy in my opinion.
Mine is Ralph Lauren
lacoste is the best
I'm so tired of Ralph Lauren, and totally agree about the sloppy collars. I think the Hugo Boss shirt looked the best but the name on the front and back was a bit lame. Psyco bunny was a bit bright for my taste but sounds like they have the quality sorted. I really like Banana Republic polos for value to quality. Thanks for this video!
Banana Republic sounds solid. They make good tees so their polos are probably just as good. Appreciate the comment 👌
Yes very true Banana republic polo shirt is so underrated. But quality wise and design it's one of the best polo's.
RL perfect.
Just got Ralph Lauren's soft cotton polo shirt recently. Amazing and so comfortable. Might be my new favorite now
Lacoste is the best
100%. I’ve got ones that I’ve had 15-20 years and still look brand new.
Full 💯 in a real life big up Guyana 🇬🇾 Ms RL need to c people like me official polo Boss form Guyana
LACOSTE IS BETS
Like the look of the psycho bunny shirt if only that logo wasn’t on the front…don’t think I could get away with that at my age…😂…but I’d really like to know the brand of your white T you’re wearing in the vid, very crisp collar…
Haha psycho bunny has some polo with more subtle logos. The t im wearing is Uniqlo AIRism tee
Can you do sweatpants next please
That's been on my list for a while and hoodies. any brands you are interested in seeing?
@@MensFashionFiles honestly pretty much the same brands
What about classics isa brands like land’s end and brooks brothers
In value nautica are superior to all others brands. Is normal to find nautica form $25-40. And quality compare to polo Ralph lauren
The Fred perry polo shirt is the best fit on you.
way too tight on the arms
Lululemon??? Evolution polo is my go to.
hows the quality?
@@MensFashionFiles fantastic so far. Really impressed.
Lacoste is the best!
Lacoste makes their polos way too short
@@MensFashionFiles Other brands are too long, except Ralph Lauren
Yeah he bought for 110 dollar ,, so I think that’s not made in France . So the quality is low I guess
they would be perfect if they werre a bit longer@@MensFashionFiles
@@MensFashionFiles It’s just right. The others are like mini dress. I’m not a gay
For my burverry the best
Thanks for the recommendation, I'm working on a part 2 coming this summer
For me the best brand for polo is Giordano or Regatta is Filipino brand
Thanks for the recommendation, I'm working on a part 2 coming this summer
Ι am Greek ,so I prefer Greek polo brands like Navy and Green or Dur and a German brand called Fynch Hatton, but i believe that are unknown outside Europe, so from the brands you mention, my superfavorite is Fred Perry , English brand that lasts forever , then Lacoste, and least favorite the 2 overpriced for no reason brands : Ralph Lauren and Hugo Boss.
Collars and psycho bunny, are unknown in Europe.
thanks for the recommendation. I haven't heard of Fynch Hatton but looks like a quality brand
I'm Greek as well and I've never heard of Navy and Green or Dur, lol. It's pretty much between Lacoste and Ralph Lauren in Greece when it comes to quality polos, at least where I live.
@@MensFashionFiles Fynch hatton uses only Supima Cotton, grown in the US, which is my favorite Cotton type ,smooth and long lasting
@@SuperbiaNox Κλασσικές Ελληνικές εταιρείες. Δεν έχουν να ζηλέψουν κάτι από τις διεθνείς
Southern Tide Skipjack Polo, Criquet Player Polo, Southern Proper Proper Polo, and Rodd & Gunn makes some really decent polos. Absolutely agree with the Psycho Bunny choice. Ralph Lauren and LaCoste are way overrated.
Im making a part 2, thanks for the recs! I have a pair of Rodd & Gunn leather sneakers and its great. Will have to try out their polos next
Boss is 66% cotton and 35% polyester = 101%. Wonder where the 1% goes 😂
At the price tag.
Hahahahahahahahahahha
May I ask what is your height & weight?
5'10, 160lb
what size is fitted you sir?
@@MensFashionFiles more like 5'3 and 130.
The best is Brook brothers Polo T
Thanks for the recommendation, I'm working on a part 2 coming this summer
LACOSTE IS BEST
Lacoste makes their polos way too short
I thought Ralph Lauren was the best till I tried Lacoste
Kenzo polo is the best
Başarılar
Ralph Lauren. Shouldn’t be a question
No 1 Versace greca the best 2 Gucci bee logo 3 burverry 4 Lacoste 5 Hugo boss
For Fred Perry you better try the M12 made in England, just a lil bit higher in price compared to the M3600 made in China (75GBP vs 90GBP) but the quality gap is INSANE. I would rather buy Ralph or Lacoste instead of the M3600 with that price of ~75GBP. I have worn Lacoste and Ralph for years and these brands are no where near the quality of the M12. Especially Ralph as he has mentioned that the collar gradually loses its shape, which I have encountered the same issue and it's very irritating.
With Fred M12, it's not about the quality concern, it's about your personal preference about the vibe the polo delivers. Forever Fred fanboy!
I love the M12, but they're cut too short IMO.
I heard M12 fits a bit more boxy so I wanted a slimmer fit. I will try M12 for sure as I do like the look of Fred Perry polos. Thanks for the recommendaiton!
Ralph Lauren performance polo is the best. No fading or shrinking after washes and always looks great. The pony player is the most famous and iconic logo on the shirt.👍
Original penguin makes a decent polo
Thanks for the recommendation, I'm working on a part 2 coming this summer
Levi's HOUSEMARK POLO SHIRT 50 Euro.
Thanks for the recommendation, I'm working on a part 2 coming this summer
My issue is, every single polo that I have ever bough made from cotton, has shrunk so bad it was unwearable.
RL
Criquet
Calvin Klein quality is something I found best in the polos so far
Thanks for the recommendation, I'm working on a part 2 coming this summer
@MensFashionFiles Thanks. I live in a country with tropical climate. Even during humid days the CK fabric feels so comforting on the skin. It's either 100% cotton or 95% cotton + 5% elastane with polished finished makes the fabric look and feel premium
Lacoste and Ralph Lauren has really fallen over the years. Sunspel is a way better brand
Will give Sunspel a shot next video
You missed the tommy hilfiger
Im making a part 2, will add Tommy Hilfiger for sure.
How can the fit of the first one be 8/10? It fits you awfully, literally draws a huge A with big folds from the last fastened button to your hips.
Haven't watched past number 2 yet, but 2 already fits a million times better than 1
Guy is trying to convince me, that 100% polyester polo real deal and ralph lauren trash?😂🤣
some polo is pool in quality fabric, poor in breathable it just a nightmare for daily wear during hot summer
Brooks brothers is even better than Psycho Bunny
wow didnt know Brooks brothers had supima polos for $50. I gotta check them out
Ralph Lauren has been going down hill. Their polos use to be under $100 but nots its like $120 Ridiculous....
I love lacoste....but they're quality has gone shit over the years. My main pet hate is thr collars.....after a few washes the collar ends curl up and do not hold their shape, although i havnt tried starch when i iron them ....inam not sure if this will ruin the fabric?
I dont like fred perry as i find the brand associated with football hooligans/pub pint drinking chavs.
RL Polo .....I associate with rich posh knobheads like a ceo visiting his 5 floor office on a summer's day for the 2nd time that year.
Never heard of Pyscho bunny but i am intrested?
Collars & co .....they look and feel deformed. The fold creases from the buttons down to your stomach do no justice if you have man boobs, even if u have a muscular toned chest....the creases look like the tshirt is a £3 tshirt. Those dress shirt collars look cheesy. Either u have a short sleeved dress shirt or a proper polo tshirt. U cant mix and match. Its like wearing slippers with laces?
I have quite a few Versace polos.....my god they've been through rough and thick times and hold up. Look and feel brand new after years of washing. They were about £150 - £220 about 10 years ago but they're all going strong. Now at the age 42.....i cant bare the thought of spending so much money on tshirts. £60 MAX! unless its a one off design by Versace or Armani or something. I have this one Versace Piece..it's a lovely one in a nearly black colour with a barouque pattern in a darker black velvet. Then the branding Vercace Couture printed all over in velvet....Not everybody's cup of tea but it stands out and screams premium quality.
Tbh the pyscho bunny looks awful. Can't go wrong with a fred perry or ralph, hugo looked the best too.
for me, Ralph Lauren = too much branding and marketing but deceptive quality for the price
it's gotten real expensive the past couple of years
I totally agree with your ratings,I tried out Lacoste polo shirts but regretted it,their polos shrunk even in cold water wash,it was horrible.
There are many Hugo Boss sub brands and labels, you just got the lamest one. Hugo Boss also makes 100% polo shirts.
That’s a strange list. Psycho Bunny polos are way overpriced for what they are. I found the fit was pretty bad out of the box and only got worse with wear. The fit was good in the sleeves but awful in the body. Very very disappointed. Charles Tyrwitt polos are significantly better especially if you bag them at $40.
$40 sounds like a good a deal, will check out Charles Tyrwitt polos
