The kind of tailoring he asked for is quite expensive. A simple hem might be $20. He asked for tapering, removing a pocket, maybe even changes with the shoulders or waist. We don’t know. Those changes at up to a lot of money super fast. At some point, the tailor is rebuilds the garment, and it may not be worth the quality of the fabric. I travel back and forth to Africa where there is super cheap tailoring. I like to purchase high quality garments that don’t fit me from thrift stores and get them rebuilt there for cheap.
Yes I would definitely recommend anyone to get their items tailored. I always buy something I like on sale even if its a size up because I know I can tailor it down to fit my frame better. I have gotten pants in a size 36 waist and had them slimed down to a 34 waist and slim out the inseam to make them more form fitting and been very happy with it. Also I have taken dress shirts that I like and made them into short sleeve dress shirts for the summer
Yeah I get the slim fit style but that was way too tight....he should have just bought jeggings in the women’s section.😂😂 sorry not hating. He makes a good point about buying expensive brands and being able to replicate them with some adjustments in cheaper brands.👍🏻👍🏻
this really helped because I never had clothes like that before, so it is nice to know that I do not have to spend boarder line insane levels of money on clothes
Sarah Kwak if you have a decent tailor it's not much. I just bought 2 suits recently for weddings and had each one tailored completely for less than $40
So as a example, I paid my Tailor $100. They adjusted the sleeve length of my Suit jacket, fitted the sleeves to my arm profile and mid section to extenuating the V torsos profile. They tightened the waist of my pants, opened the thigh area and did a knee down taper, and adjusted the pant length. On my dress shirt the darted the shirt to fit my body perfectly, adjusted my sleeves and shoulder profile to fit better and they relocated my right cuff button so it's a touch looser when I wear a watch. Fairly good I'd say.
Yup I get most my jeans from H&M and some fit perfect already but some obviously are a little loose round the ankle so I’m getting them tailored and £20 jeans and then £15 tailoring can’t complain also you can get name brand jeans on sale and get them tailored perfectly so much better
greentealatte He actually confirmed on instagram that those were brown shoes. But I agree, the camera picked them as black. Still I prefer having the same shade of brown on my shoes and belt.
You didn't add the prices for tailoring to the walmart outfit. Also an update on both outfits after a couple wears will explain by some brands costs more.
Just found your videos. First time watching and I'm glad to see someone showing young guys how to dress sharp and for less. Really great job I'm very impressed. I'm an older guy now and in my youth I would spend crazy money on a good outfit but I also had no qualms about shopping at the discount store but like you said getting discount clothing tailored is the key. Which brings me to 2 points. 1. You didn't give cost for tailoring which has to be figured into cost of outfit. 2. Like young lady below said, your body type makes almost anything look good. I remember when I could say that about myself. Now in my mid 60's I don't have the physique to make anything look good BUT still and even more importantly good fit is the key! I am a shorter man 5'8" so I find that even the more expensive clothing doesn't fit like it should. Manufacturers are not consistent with sizing even among their own line! So, many times I end up taking clothing to my tailor. Especially shirts which I can get to fit in neck and body but then the sleeves will be too long. This is especially true for casual shirts because manufacturers don't size casual shirts by measuring neck, sleeve and chest! Instead they size them in ranges like Small, Medium, Large, X-Large etc. That sucks, really because the range will be something like 16-16.5 neck, 42-44 chest, and 34-35 sleeve which is way too long for me. I wear a 16.5 neck, 44-45 chest and 33 sleeve. When will manufacturers get it that casual shirts should be sized like dress shirts? Anyway, enjoyed your video and I have subscribed so keep up the good work.
My wallet loves Wally World! And yeah you can some good looking stuff, but sometimes you need go to a name store. A lot of times fashion outlets have some deals almost as good as Wally's!
The quality of the material that matters though. I don't mind paying a little bit extra if it means the clothes will last longer. I buy mid level clothes normally. Factory outlets are good source too.

I travel back and forth to Africa where there is super cheap tailoring. I like to purchase high quality garments that don’t fit me from thrift stores and get them rebuilt there for cheap.
Hahaha i loved it when you were asking if she could take off the pockets and she wouldn't straight up answer your question. Hella of a guy Jose
In the video he tailors a white shirt, but could I get a shirt with a pattern tailored and it still look good?
$40 bag of cocaine versus $400 dollar bag of cocaine. Same amount in both bags
Hey ease off the drugs lol
what are you gonna take the quality one or the flour
$328.87 weekly salary vs. $1,754.42 weekly salary?
Great comparison, I understand completely now.😉
eksine good one
8:56 Damn them pants is tight 👀😥!
Uh huh,yes
Yeah I get the slim fit style but that was way too tight....he should have just bought jeggings in the women’s section.😂😂 sorry not hating. He makes a good point about buying expensive brands and being able to replicate them with some adjustments in cheaper brands.👍🏻👍🏻
tj Tanner slim fit pants lol
tj Tanner i think you like 40 years old but the tight pant looks better
Kodak Black yeah if your gay
Awesome job they look very compatible especially for the price. But Hugo Boss fits are definitely on a different level.
This is the second time I've stumbled upon one of your videos. I really like the content. Earned yourself a new sub my dude.
When you look good, anything expansive or cheap will look good on you
$40 for an "affordable" bracelet lol
Why do that when you could buy a great outfit from Walmart?!?!?!?!?!
straight from china also, alot of ¨company¨ sell the same bracelet lol
Yes it’s a rip off
it a affordable if you compare it to a John hardy or David Yurman..I actually saw one at Neimans for $29,000 the other day
That would pay most of my water bill...
this really helped because I never had clothes like that before, so it is nice to know that I do not have to spend boarder line insane levels of money on clothes
These videos really help. The other day I wore some tailored cheap clothes, people treated me like I own a freaking multi-million dollar company.
Prawin Balaganesh u r a Savage
How much was the tailoring tho?
Sarah Kwak $950
Sarah Kwak if you have a decent tailor it's not much. I just bought 2 suits recently for weddings and had each one tailored completely for less than $40
As much as I want to praise him in most situations the tailoring will cost more than the Item.
Fairly good I'd say.
but u missing the point even with tailoring its still cheaper like dahhh
sooo just find a decent tailor
Yup I get most my jeans from H&M and some fit perfect already but some obviously are a little loose round the ankle so I’m getting them tailored and £20 jeans and then £15 tailoring can’t complain also you can get name brand jeans on sale and get them tailored perfectly so much better
You mean a decent body
I'm not about that tight look. Not saying super baggy but I never want my clothes to hug me.
@@JD-go2qj dont need to be that tight. Just fit you nicely.
Exactly my friend and also a gym.
A good eye for style and a good tailor can make a world of difference.
I’m a girl but I still watch all your videos haha 🤷♀️

8:59 Brown belt and black shoes = NO
greentealatte
He actually confirmed on instagram that those were brown shoes. But I agree, the camera picked them as black. Still I prefer having the same shade of brown on my shoes and belt.
Radu Gabriel what!?
Actually it's ok. This was confirmed in the book American Psycho.
Alpha taught us well.
2:01 Did that wheelchair guy crash into you?
LMAOO 💀💀
No, he did
You didn't add the prices for tailoring to the walmart outfit. Also an update on both outfits after a couple wears will explain by some brands costs more.
iwantmoney10 most nicer brands are dry clean only dear gently laundering your garments increase its longevity
Tell that to Gucci that shit is falling apart on the hanger in the store
Zaloona Marshall then you are using it incorrect or bye it off Ali express
Alfred von meyeren I really feel like you don’t own any high fashion pieces 😐
Marquise Martin den i vil reccoment that you go look at my Instagram @rottens_verden but Nice try
Hugo Boss outfits still look better to me, especially the shirt and tie outfit.
Same
I dare u to try the dollar store 😂😂😂😂
Poisonous Joker studios omg 😂
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
funny.
Poisonous Joker studios 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
The quality of the material that matters though. I don't mind paying a little bit extra if it means the clothes will last longer. I buy mid level clothes normally. Factory outlets are good source too.
My hard working lady seems so sweet.
You are as always Jose

1:01 basically me everytime i see something nice thats expensive
college students around the world will love you for this.
He didn't say how much money he spent on tailoring the less expensive outfit.
Joe Lloyd The dress shirt and pants would cost about $15-$20 if that at a local tailor
Are we going to get the tailoring bill? The outfit was $40 but the total cost would include the tailor bill
Gonna be honest you can get decent dress clothes at H&M 🤷🏼♂️🤷🏼♂️
True talk rn
patrick repko yes sir
H&M is the best place
Its my favorite store, the hoodie are amazing with good price
@@inmortalty8733
h&m or mango or zara or jack&jones ? which the best ?
More proof that the comment section often has better advise than the video on youtube
Thank you! I’ve been saying and doing this for a long time. Nobody is going to comment on brand or price if you don’t tell them. What they will comment on is how nice you look.
