It’s happening within the USA boarder’s as well! A guy that the police know, was pretending to be me and tried to scam my grandmother. He pretended to be in jail and asked for bail money 😑 terrible people with no shame out there.
@@orangetruckman Yeah, but those are more amateurs trying to do this solo, these big corporate-like operations are operating from countries where it is impossible to sue them or use law to extradite them for prosecution. So they can operate from for example India call centers with practically immunity.

I would say india pakistan Bangladesh 5000+ offices like this. But i can say the crackdown in india is insane. Its easier to get a driving licence here than it is to get a call center phone line connection now a days. And they are freezing any money they can track before withdrawals. Also tracking down the people withdrawing the money.
Have seen everything mentioned above personally happening to random people around me... some turned out to be un knowing accomplices and some kids who know little about the right and wrong of it all...

This actually happened to my mom right after I watched this movie. They didn't scam her for $2M but $500. Not a lot but as someone on a fixed income it might as well have been $2M. When she told me, I wanted to burn it all down. This is sadly a real thing that happens to our senior citizens everyday.
If they were actually taking millions from millionaires it would be stopped before it actually got started. Instead they take hundreds from average working families and little to nothing will ever be done.
My sister's friends mom got scammed out of her retirement 350k by some Nigerian prince claiming to be Keanu Reeves..... I hope my mind never goes like hers did.

@@robertmurphy6566 nah I didn't lose nothing. Not a single penny would have reached me or my sister. Just sharing my story that it happens, and it happens to the most vulnerable. She was always smart when we were growing up a lawyer but when you get that old things go down hill more than you think.

"The Beekeeper." I finally watched this movie several months ago. Didn't expect much - just Statham Mayhem. But it was a good story. This Short was my introduction to the film. Worth the watch.
