There is no armor made for the full body that can withstand 5.56mm NATO rounds out of an H&K G36 like that, especially at that range. Every shot from Jason Statham's character that wasn't over the heart and lungs (the areas protected by an NIJ Level III or IV plate) would have hit soft kevlar armor, NIJ Level IIIA at best, which would have gone straight through. I loved this film for the revenge fantasy, but me knowing as much as I do about body armor kinda ruined the final gunfight scene.
