    Instant Pot Chicken Thighs are so easy to make, tender, and full of flavor. I used bone in chicken thighs, but this method would work with boneless skinless chicken thighs as well. This easy pressure cooker recipe will be a family favorite.

    This came out so good!! I rubbed the chicken with honey, paprika, chili powder, white pepper, and salt. I also did 8/8 minutes rather than 10/10 as the chicken I used was a bit smaller. Highly recommend this recipe to anyone looking for a good one.

    The skin is where the chicken flavor is, such a shame that Americans remove the most healthiest part with collagen and fats that the body needs.

    • @JimmyGelhaar
      @JimmyGelhaar 4 роки тому +2

      Agree. But it's not just American's that do it. I'm American and would never remove the skin.
      The people that remove the skin are people that are brainwashed into thinking it's unhealthy, which unfortunately is not just in America.

    I made these tonight. They were great. I did season prior to instantpot. Then I followed her recipe, including the broiling step. But, then I did something else. I actually made a sauce out of the juices in the bottom of the IP. I put some of the juices in a skillet and heated it up. I let it reduce some then added white wine and butter. Then I reduced some more. It was great.

    • @altitudeiseverything3163
      @altitudeiseverything3163 4 роки тому +3

      jgfunk - Excellent! That’s what I would have done, too. It really bothered me that all that great flavor from deglazing the bottom of the pot was being wasted! 👍 I’m new to Instant Pot cooking, but we could reduce the broth right in the Instant Pot, too, right?

    • @fancybrooks3156
      @fancybrooks3156 4 роки тому +3

      You could have done that right in your IP after removing the chicken. Just cancel the "pressure cook" function and hit the "Saute'" button. Then, add in whatever you want to add to the juices and let it reduce, stirring as needed until done to your liking. No need to mess up another pan or skillet or turn your stove on. If you don't want to wait to let all the liquid reduce, then just remove what you don't think you want (maybe set it aside until you know you're done with it; of course, when you're adding another liquid, like wine, you will of course have to remove at least that much pan drippings [or maybe not], depending on how much sauce or gravy you want to make.)
