As a follow-up to how to be creative, Turning pro I look at Limitless.
in this video I look at Carl Jungs theory of the unconscious and the film Limitless. I give some strategies to optimize your own brain function. The tips are simple but I would argue they have a big effect on your productivity. They did for me.
Limitless stars Bradley Cooper and Robert DeNiro. There is no a limitless tv show as well.

Trying to give some productivity tips using the movie Limitless and Jung's theory of the Unconscious. They are simple tips but important and effective I think. Especially writing ideas down so I can revisit them later is important for me. This way I already know my next two projects instead of having to start to think about them now.
    strategies start at 05:18

Modafinil is the "real life limitless pill" for anyone wondering if it's like in the movies no. However from my personal experience Iv'e been able to focus 8-12 hours without a break( literally not realizing how much time has passed when I checked the time). Mental clarity is unbelievable with it just like in the movie but 50% darker if that makes sense. In summary I would say modafinil makes you go from feeling dumb and bored to someone who knows what needs to be done and and how to do it and with the focus to do it everyday all day.

Always great videos. It's a strange thing, I think the Greeks called it the "muse"; because they thought it was divine when you got inspiration. How much you can know about a subject but effectively not know you knew about it, until there is a moment that asks of you to reflect upon it. Sort of like how people say "you are what you eat" or "it takes a village to raise a child". You in some deeper level are what you unconsciously record, even if you don't know it.

This is awful. This is missing an answer to the most obvious question of "Why?". Why are we supposed to value the most optimised mind and body and open up "creativity". It goes so far as to say we should mingle and mix with more and different people to boost our unconscious mind. They are humans and maybe they matter more than to be used to aid some toxic masculinity. If you want to become better at writing why not practise? What is This superfluous Peterson Jung crap about harnessing potential? Why not just take it easy?

If you don't know the reason "why" we should be more productive, if you see ambition and harnessing our full potential for creativity as some sort of toxic male behavior, this video really wouldn't mean anything to you my friend. Understand that, for some of us, living a simple life, a day at a time, "taking it easy" would be a fate worse than death.

I’d much rather be consciously creative than unconscious. Does he mean subconscious? Because that’s totally different. Being consciously creative means you can tap into it whenever you want.

The closest thing to that limitless pill I've found is LSD (jt tends to feel as though I'm overclocking my brain). As a music producer, I've made my best pieces while on low doses of acid (20-40ug, as higher doses tend to make my brain go so fast, that my hands can't keep up with making the music and I therefore beocme less productive), especially when combined with some sativa marijuana. Really allows me to get deep into a flow state. I often write ideas down, and review them the next day, and write about those ideas whatever I can remember. This helps to integrate the vision I often get from LSD and good weed into my daily life. Also, make sure you are hydrated and are getting enough omega 3's and enough sleep, as that will help keep your brain healthy and clear, and omega 3's are important for neurogenesis, the creation of new braincells. Also exercising makes you smarter, and more able to learn. When smoking weed, be sure to also use CBD as there is some evidence that CBD reduces THC's possible negative effect memory function. Stay safe and test your drugs, if you decide take psychedelics. Also, excellent video. One of the best youtube videos I've watched in a while, and that says a lot cause I watch a lot of good shit. You earned a new subscriber. Keep working man, much respect.👊💯
