It was really great to see your reaction video. It made my day, and it's always great to see a new generation of fans find Peter's music, starting with this one. That device is called a 'Talk Box'. Watching you hear that effect for the first time was outstanding, and you are absolutely correct that he was having infectious fun...!!!
@@itsmira-j most definitely. At some point, think about doing a reaction video for the song Tom Sawyer, from Rush. I think you may enjoy this song from 1981.
It's always a great privilege seeing the beautiful Mira-j looking as heavenly beautiful as always and listening to a great legend from the UK 🇬🇧 like me he's still making great music today and I'm really pleased that Mira-j is listening and enjoying this wonderful bit of great music from Peter Frampton keep up the great work Mira-j and all the very best Andy ❤❤
You were asking about the talk box. In simple terms this is how it works. There's a box on the floor at the bottom of the mic stand. in that box is a small speaker. When a foot switch is pressed it diverts the sound of the guitar to that speaker. The sound then travels up a plastic hose attached to the mic stand and into the mouth where it can be shaped and change by the guitarist. That sound is picked up by the vocal mic and amplified in the usual way. A simple device, but it takes someone to think of the idea in the first place.
" Frampton Comes Alive" Is one of the best albums I ever had. It was the #1 best use of a "Talk Box" That I know of. I did see them live in the 70's but went to so many concerts that I am not sure which venue it was. Anaheim Stadium with Lynyrd Skynyrd Or Orange Show outdoor rodeo and car race stands in San Bernardino.
He is actually supposed to be a very humble nan. He just loves music. He just has swag. He was a sex symbol of the day but it embarrassed him. Kind of a small man. Has been playing professionally since he was 18. He was 25 here. Just inducted into the rock and roll hall of fame this year.
And did you do a second time?... edit, ok the video was 4 hours old when i replied, my bad,, 2nd time, and 3rd 4th until the (Cryptic clue 12th of never) ya better had missy,, hope ya ok x
Peter Frampton is the singer/guitarist. His album " Frampton Comes Alive" was huge in the early 70's.
Thank you thank you ❤
It was more than huge if that's possible.
It was the best selling album in the U.S. in 1976 - the year I graduated from high school.
I watched this on tv the night he played this.. I was 16 years old..the 70s… man…🎉
Hahaha I’m glad you relieve the experience

Peter Frampton good old Beckenham boy, just like David Bowie.

Ge is supposed to be one of the most humble person. But was playing in bands since he was 16. But yes, looks like he really enjoy music.
It is very obvious 😅😅
Everyone and their mother and uncool cousin had frampton comes alive in the late 70s.
Now that’s funny 🤣🤣🤣
Great guitarist, good singer, maestro on the talk box. Is finally being inducted into the rock and roll hall of fame. Sex symbol of the day.
