- Let's keep each other company while we journal :) I'm working on a few things in my new B6 creative journal, chat about going to the Yoseka Stationery Festival in August, show you some new stickers I got in and share a few tips on composition.

I love journaling and bags too. For everyday running around with my journals, I use the lululemon festival bag. When I go on trips, I use a Marc Jacob’s tote bag. It’s roomy enough to carry multiple journals, ephemera and my pencil case. As well as my wallet and any stationery goodies I pick up during my trip. Great video😊

That is so exciting I've been following Yoseka's YT content. The event space is gorgeous and knowing how much thought and care they put into everything they do it's going to be a magical time! 🤩I've attended several planner centric meet ups so I'll provide advice in the form of observations I made ^_^ at the US based event I attended nearly everyone had a business card or their socials printed on a card to share. If they had a planner/stationery related business they also had freebies to give out (this ranged from a mini sampler sheet, a grab bag of assorted overstock they grouped together, or event specific stickers/sticker sheets). I am a muggle ( just a stationery fan not a business or shop owner) I was also attending while in life transition from living overseas to moving back stateside temporarily I didn't have my stationery stash to pull from but knew sharing was encouraged so I went to craft stores & anywhere I find stationery treasures and put together small goodie bags. I've also attended several stationery centric group events in Japan & a difference I noted was no one handed out a business card or anything but sharing supplies was also a big happy thing either in the form of bringing supplies to place and collectively use on a central workspace table or again sharing small gift bags with each other on that occasion I went to Daiso & Can Do and pieced together little assortments and paired it with US chocolates/candies that aren't commonly found in Japan. I'm sure others will provide further insight ^_^ If you have the time and energy to create some art for the event it would be lovely and well received! You could have business cards & provide a QR code linked to a printable if making physical stickers or collage pieces is too time consuming for the attendance size. I hope you find the perfect stationery supply bag(s) & travel set up. keep us updated I love seeing what works well for people. I have a Galen Leather Writer Medic Bag (the smaller size) but although it's a beautiful piece I'm not minimalist enough to get a ton of use out if it, its good for a cafe journaling date but I don't feel there's enough room for it to be a weekend/daytrip stationery bag for me. I also have a Whipping Post Tote from forever ago when it was the "it" bag and it's very roomie but the leather itself is heavy so I don't use that often either 😅😆
Oh my goodness thank you so, so much for sharing your observations! This is so very helpful! Meeting fellow stationery lovers and being able to share supplies is definitely one of the things I most look forward to. I’ll definitely bring freebies, as well as enough from my stationery supplies to share. And to include a QR code for a freebie is such a smart idea! I’ll definitely share once I have figured out my bag setup ☺️ Oh, and am I right in assuming you’re going as well?
I also want to attend this event! These are great tips! I just recently started an online stationery retail shop and Etsy store. I love discovering beautiful designers and creators to offer. Also? I have two WP totes from a long time ago which are too heavy to use regularly 😂 But just gorgeous craftsmanship
@@MaikeOatleyunfortunately I won’t be able to go (hubby is stationed in Japan & August is the height of PCS (moving) season so I have little hope of being able to catch a Space A flight stateside 😢)

I JUST found out about stickii club, I don't have their subscription but I keep an eye out for their sticker sheets in art stores.
Thank you, I’m so glad you enjoyed it! Yeah I don’t have their subscription either. I just picked some sheets out from their online shop. I like that they collaborate with so many different artists.
I'm hoping to attend Stationery Fest. I would love to meet you should I commit. Not sure about booking plane tickets and for which day

Hello- I love bags of all types and love your spread and the thought gone into it. Would you mind telling me the name of the event in NY? I live about an hour and a half away and might be interested in checking it out. It is so hot and humid in the summer but I think I might treat myself to something fun like an event.
