Hi Sorin. Great video as always. Would you ever make a phone motherboard power sequence explanation or a detailed repair tutorial. I begun repairing laptops because of you and now I've also taken a big interest in phone boards but it seems bit more complicated. Kind regards as always
Now you got me watching phone videos also. How do you learn so much? I may have to specialize in one or two areas. I also feel like a wasted money on board holders. Few seem to use them. Nice job on the recovery. Thanks for such fine videos.
nice.. u made that look easy... throw away some caps, clean, alcohol is good.... done. lol. but years of electrical repairs must be the driving force to achieve that result... now i can see why the linear power supply is essential.
Hi sorin well done 👍....it's pretty serious 😢job 😅 but you done everything easily.... heats off to your skill ...keep it up....very much love from India.your well wisher . 🎉😊
I was watching this video and I remember I have an older phone with a bad charging port... the fix was 10minuites and I just reheat the old pins solder... not a proper fix but good enough for now.
I have water damage, and my touchscreen is unresponsive in some areas. Does that mean I need full screen replacement? I also checked the screen connector, and it's 100% okay.
I have hp 840 G2 and it has amd card, recently I gave for repair, after repair I checked the graphics card was showing in task manager, but after I re installed the windows it is not detecting or showing amd card, few weeks ago after a restart it showed the card but again after restarting it isn't showing. can you tell what's the problem
In every Samsung device I see, there are always lots of little tiny blue components. What are they? Does anyone know? Are they 0 ohm resistors? Filters? Inductors?
Sir I hope you could be India .. I can't explain how I am feeling right now I have a HP omen X laptop and I tried to update window after the update I went outside when I came back my Laptop gone. At A biggest computer market I went and they said motherboard short. I have no other way now .. यदि आप भारतीय होते तो मैं बहुत भाग्यशाली होता।

Hi Sorin, why do you refuse to use metal brush? That toothbrush is massive and pretty useless at most times and places… you need some precision tools when working with tiny components. Sometimes your approach to repairs is quite disturbing, don’t know how else to put this in words.
a toothbrush is enough, but alcohol can't clean the corroded surface very well, and under the chips it's impossible, any part of the board that has liquid damage requires reflowing/reballing, otherwise the corrosion continues
I think the customer was lucky it was you and your skills doing the job. Another great video and repair from master Sorin

Ridiculously small components on these phones. You know it's crazy when a toothbrush covers 3 ICs and 50 caps and resistors.
If phones Made out from throw hole components it's gonna be massive and super heavy 😂
Very miniatured
@@gyoerdy7832 lol, I wouldn't go as far as through-hole, but the 0201 Surface components are insanely small.
Great video General Sorin. Keep some people smiling again.
🎉
Really this kind of technical skills needed for learning technicians to resolve at least to move forward to learn a good video sir

Liking the phone repair videos.
This was a *very* lucky customer. In my case, the whole screen (and the digitizer?) got shorted. I had to replace it in order to boot the phone.
Amazing job, love the videos!
Good job mate 👏
Use Ultra sonic bath. It cleans perfectly
Bravo you're the best

Greetings! Just wanted to ask..What would be the best made high quality electronic component laptop from manufacturer.Asus Lenovo fujitsu and dell?🤔🤔🤔
Great repair Sorin. What do people have stored only on their smartphones that is so important? Have they not heard of cloud storage?
Some ppl choose privacy. I'd never upload to a cloud somewhere in the USA.
@@Markus-fw4px offline backups are still a good idea though, you can also encrypt before uploading to the cloud

The owner submerged that phone a lot, that phone has IP68 water resistance.
I have water damage, and my touchscreen is unresponsive in some areas. Does that mean I need full screen replacement?
I also checked the screen connector, and it's 100% okay.
Since the data recovery job what if the phone is lost in transit and there is no backup taken before the phone is sent back?
Dropped my Huawei Mate 20 Pro in Lake of Bays Muskoka Ontario. it worked for a while then the touchscreen stopped.

Hello Sir, I hope you are well. I would like to join the group but I don't have a bank account. How am I going to pay????
For the mobile phones the top cases of liquid damage are 1. Dropped into the sink 2. Dropped into... toilet bowl.

Hi there i have a samsung s21fe.
Keeps telling me moisture detected even after replacing the charging board. Any ideas of what i can check further?
Change cable conector
But Sorin, I was expecting you would say "We have a picture...", not we have a charging sign... :(
Sorin's budget is based on pizza/hour$! This job maybe 3p/h
Just recover the data as quick as possible

Wtf is wrong with you, why so many question marks? This is a data recovery job, not an attempt to repair the phone
I have a hp laptop only charging when it's off
the Polak say Vodka helps against any-THING ...
Should we be careful squirting alcohol everywhere. I believe speakers and microphones could be damaged??
Yep you right. But for data recovery its ok.
Mainly the screen is what you should be worried about.
thermistor
The data is recovered but the phone can't be used as before coz the sorted board will drain battery fast lol
omg , everything so tiny
