I thought I’d misheard you on your previous video when you said cruise for your 50th birthday! I always assumed you were mid-30’s at most! Happy Birthday!
We were on regal in November, departure Dec 3rd. The embarkation line took 45 minutes to an hour, and departure took less than 25 minutes. We really loved our cruise, western Caribbean. The ship is incredibly well maintained, most crew attentive, food good, and lay out means doesn't feel crowded.
I have the Premier package on our upcoming Regal cruise. How do you go about getting the top shelf higher priced drinks. Do you just call out the brand you want?
You can definitely do that. Sometimes they have drink menus on paper, or by QR code that will outline which package works with each type of spirit as well. But yes, definitely when in doubt, just ask the bartender and they should know. If they don’t know, they can look it up for you really quickly on their computer. Have a blast.

You're 50? Wow. Never would have thought that. Thought maybe 40ish. We stayed there & a great hotel. Taxi driver was mad at us first becuse I guess he was hoping for a longer ride! Haha

We are doing a 50th birthday cruise for our daughter too. Her birthday is in March but we are cruising in June. There are going to be 16 of us. Can't wait. Come go with us & celebrate your bday again with my daughter. Would lov to have you come with us. Carnival Panorama.

Thanks for a great video - I am heading out on the Regal this coming Friday. Could you have walked to the cruise terminal if it was only 6 blocks away or is there an issue where you had to use a car? She looks like a beautiful ship, thanks for sharing all your stories with us 🙂
Great question. It looks like six blocks on a map but it’s a really long way with luggage. I wouldn’t brave it and I’m very comfortable walking typically.

I will be sailing on the new Sun Princess for my first time on Princess Cruises and I have a mini suite. I was wondering if Princess has priority embarking and if so, is there a separate line to get into so that I can board quicker than those in standard cabins? Thanks for the footage and info.
Just a FYI. I just found out that because I'll be in a Mini suite and I'm in the reserve collection that I will receive priority embarking and disembarking but that's only because I'm in The Reserve Collection. Nice perk. Have a great weekend@@CruiseTipsTV

The prices fluctuate big time. When we were there, it was $120 per night.

Princess doesn’t consider mini suites suites so no priority boarding unless you book into a full suite. Have fun on Sun!
