If I were a rich man, I'd buy tickets to Rogers show for any fan who hasn't gotten to go. If you can see one, go!
I really hope that he'll come in Athens in the coming years..
Thank you Jesus!
I've been un many concerts, but It was my best concert in my life
it is really my dream to attend only one show but africa sucks and the dream is about to vanish
@Angie i see what you did there
I just love how the people in the crowd are so different. Kids, teens, adults, older people....
This music seems to resonate with everyone.
the way younger people weren't just there, they were super emotional about it.
Even saw a guy with a full on battle jacket, which I'm going to assume had patches of metal bands on them
it is the quasi-tragedy of human existence that resonates with everyone....,
Its because roger waters and the rest of the group will always be cool no matter how old they get
True. I was there with my daughter.
Part 3 is criminally underrated
Thanks a lot. According to me it's the best
it’s the best one
So absolutely true and by joining them here it adds an extra punch to the song too
You bet !
true.
What would the world be without Pink Floyd and or Waters. I spent many evenings as a teenager sitting at my desk and listening to Pink Floyd. How wonderful that was. No Putin, no Ukraine, no Trump, no Brexit, just Pink Floyd. Please may that time come back, .... PLEASE. Thank
Вам разве не всё равно ? Вы и ваши правители ,запад, спровоцировали эту войну. Мы Русские с нами БОГ ! Вы проиграете эту войну
I get goosebumps no Matter how many times I hear the transition between Happiest Days Of Our Life and Another Brick In The Wall.

This man is an international treasure
He's a treasure to the galaxy. His music is literally in space. Some day an alien will discover it, and be as blown away as we were when we first heard it... And every time since.
@@BabyJesus66 He's the greatest lyricist of all time.
@@kevinmichael9482 He's certainly up there. Neil Young and Nick Cave aren't too shabby either.

No joke the transition from The happiest days of our lives to Another brick in the wall gave me shivers.
Todo el álbum es así, y otros álbumes como wish you were here, the dark side of the moon
The most meaningful and expressive song that the music industry could ever have.
1980 - 10 years old, standing outside in a school assembly when someone drove past and yelled out their "hey teachers leave them kids alone". Picture 400 students all errupting with laughter at once. Take me back to those days.
yep .... I was in 3rd grade when this song/album came out .... and me and my buddies would sing that line, loudly, in our classroom .... and our teacher, one day, screamed, at the Top of her lungs, 'I Told you children to Stop singing that Song!!!' .... awesome memory .... :)
Hahahaha I hear you... I think I was 10 too that year hahahaha. I'll be chuckling all week remembering stuff like that. Only Waters privilege. And that's privilege enough .
@@groofoot Did they follow it up with "HOW CAN YA HAVE ANY PUDDING IF YA DUNT EAT YER MEAT?!?"?
He was right though
I know this isn't from that show but one of the best moments I've ever experienced was when Roger toured with The Wall and I got to see it with my brother before he passed. It was my brother who introduced me to the Pink Floyd "The Wall" and that night in Chicago is my most cherished memory.
Thank you, Roger.
I was at Opening night in Chicago, i have the DVD from it, and it Was P.F.M! Pure Fucking Magic!
Cheers to you and your departed Brother 🍺
Great memory. I can relate, I saw the same tour with my late mother.
My brother got to see them in Montreal, at the show that inspired The Wall.
aww
@@scout805 would love a copy!
He is this good at 75! Mind blowing
I mean, he is lip synching. If you don't believe me, just listen to this exact song off of Roger Waters The Wall.
@@zacharybanta9523 when he played live he wasn’t lip syncing. They had to layer a recorded version of the songs over the footage for the Us+Them movie and Roger Waters The Wall so that you don’t hear the audience in the background
@@joedinnie3079 I have watched multiple phone shot videos of his Wall and Us + Them tour, they both sound exactly like they do on those two live albums.
@@zacharybanta9523 oh sorry my mistake. Thanks for pointing that out I’ll check it out at some point.

Roger Waters is one of the greatest songwriters ever.
I can't describe how I feel when I see this concert
Same. I just broke down watching this song. So powerful.
@@Powwower Yeah bro, I fucking hate school and the one I was just left Roger Waters would have hated to the core because of the vile culture of the teachers and wanker headmaster, seeing this gives me hope and re-ignites the fire in my heart to fight back against everything that is wrong in the world.
@@Powwower I BROKE DOWN ON prt3
This concert changed my life. The emotions I feel when reliving this concert are indescribable.
There were real tears. Best show I've ever seen
The show was amazing. Visceral. I had tears down my face during Mother.
Man I'm jealous of you
Greatest concert experience ever
I’m just happy to see so many young people in the crowd, thank god they have a good taste in music
Not sure I’ve even seen another concert where there were grandparents, parents, and children, all of which were having the time of their lives.
The way Roger mixed part 2 and part 3 of another brick is brilliant! It is the best version of part 3!

The music world would be dimmer and dumber without Roger Waters, wouldn't it?
It would certainly be less pretentious. But really I can't give Mr. Waters enough praise for what he's done and is doing for music
@@maxineoneill2586 but without Roger, Pink Floyd wouldn't exist
Yeah... without any truth spills
@@maxineoneill2586 I think with the amount of skill, experience Roger has, he's aloud to be somewhat pretentious.
Name a better duo than Waters and his concept album
You can't, they're inseparable
First off PINK FLOYD is thee best band in the world (and yes I know this is only Roger Waters). It's so refreshing, and it makes me happy to see all the young people into PINK FLOYD'S music. I have hope for our future. R.I.P. Syd and Richard 🙏
Only Roger waters!!
Per arrivare a tanto ha avuto bisogno degli altri floyd
How the actors with prison jumpsuits can stay so still and not start banging their head to the song is beyond my comprehension.
Roger, you changed my life! Literally!
This music is liberating. It helps us who are lost find a sense of belonging
Going to see him for the third time tonight with my 32 year old daughter
That stage production is insane. Very ahead of its time
I see a large rectangle screen. In 94, PF had a screen that tilted and looked like a UFO, Had the largest laser show ever, The biggest mirror ball with the worlds brightest bulb, and the best stage set up ever, still copied today. talk about ahead of its time.
Always is with him
Roger is all about theater, and Dave is all about the music. Both Legends. Both Gods in their own unique ways.
I do agree!
Nailed it.
I do not agree, it must be taken into account that the 4 best pink floyd albums were mostly in charge of waters.
Gilmour can't write a good song to save his life, Waters is one of best songwriters ever. Now if you mean the live shows you should check out the delicate sound of thunder and pulse which are Gilmour Floyd and compare it with in the flesh which is waters solo. In those it is absolutely the opposite: Gilmour's Floyd is all about the show with lasers and flying pigs and stuff and Waters is only there with his band with no special effects.
Gilmour es un artista pero Waters es un genio.
Amigos, hace un par de días logré ver a Roger en la gira de despedida, simplemente no tengo palabras. Gracias Roger 🙌🏻
im so jealous of those kids literally same age as them and they got to meet roger 😭
I don't know if it's because of the stress of the last couple of months, teaching kids through a screen thanks to the pandemic, but I'm crying so hard right now :/
I'd love to see Roger again :( This record means so much to me ♡
hope you're doing better :)
I felt the same watching my son lose contact with his classmates doing everything in his room alone...
I went on many concerts in my life, two days ago I was at Rogers for the first time…
When the show started and I saw the legend in person, when some energy passed through me, I almost cried… It is really hard to describe it with words.
From the moment when show ended I can’t stop thinking about it. Truly breathtaking and almost near God experience of me.
I feel you bro, same
I did cry, I admit. Roger Waters is a god of music.
Roger Waters is God's name.
Long life to Roger waters .... the real pink floyd
Love his Earthiness ~
The way he interacts with the kid's.
And you just know, he doesn't care about race, gender, big, small...
We're all one type of feeling.
Amazing artist, amazing person.
Absolutely fantastic video.
"Good For you" - Mr. Water's~
We need more people like him, & I know their are other's like him out there somewhere ~✌-
He’s a Virgo
And you have to keep in mind he has an germ phobia. Still he give all those kids high fives, at every concert.

I love you Roger ! I was born in 1979.

real fans were there from the start, i was born in 1952
@@mikedonnarumma5337 real fans? That doesn't mean anything that you were born in '52,just because that person was born 27 years later makes them a "lesser" fan? Get off your pedestal and act like the elder your supposed to be and tell us about the gigs you've seen of Floyd back in the day instead of belittling a fellow fan for no reason
@Solar-Encoded completely agree with this, although I do believe Post-Waters is still Pink Floyd, just a different era of it. I usually split Pink Floyd into 3 different eras: Syd Barrett era, Post-Barrett era (which is classic Floyd), and Post-Waters era. All of them sound very different from eachother, but they are all still Pink Floyd, despite Post-Waters Pink Floyd being kind of lackluster besides for a few songs
@Solar-Encoded the last album was a gravestone on pink floyd`s grave. it's as if Gilmour has been rummaging through a trash can and has made something that looks like an album out of drafts and fragments
The end of the song is especially high quality. Way to go, Roger.
Nothing compares to Roger. Pure genius!
I went to his show in Lisbon, for the Us and Them Tour!...and i still havent recover from that thrill..! Roger Waters is great!!!
Greatest preference, Roger absolutely amazing! Keep it up, stay safe!!!
Greetings to heaven! hahaha
Yay Rick!
My favorite is Roger on the acoustic guitar singing his heart out in the studio on Mother!!!
Always get goosebumps with these 3 tunes playing in a row. Weather its on Rogers tours, or the original album with the rest of Pink Floyd. Its freaking awesome!!
Know what’s really amazing? The amount people you see in the audience that were either babies or not even born when this masterpiece was created! Goes to show... timeless

Pink Floyd was famous because of this Man
You can't make a banal statement like that. Pink Floyd were a coming together of different talents (including Syd) , who were a perfect fit and made wonderful music. For a decade, Roger increasingly became the ideas man and main writer, but it was never just about him.

The original was a brilliant piece of music - this rendition polishes it to a diamond. Tremendous imagery and stage craft - this is a show I would love to see live.
Seen Rog so many times over the years. Never disappoints, always a strong ethical message. This is the deeper more thoughtful side of Pink Floyd and beyond.

This is the real deal. “Pink Floyd” nowadays sans Roger is less authentic than Roger Waters. This is the writer, the man, the brain behind it all.
RESIST!! Roger reaches so many people and touches their souls with his music. Amazing and so inspiring!
Perfect song, perfect interpreters and great children singing this great piece of art. What else can we say.
I hope those kids appreciate how iconic that song is. How legendary Pink Floyd are and how utterly fortunate they are to have been there on that stage. Amazing.
Love the subtle changes, especially at 1:21 ....and the follow through is so good Roger.
Es increiblemente emocionante,Es la prueba absoluta de que la música siempre fue mas que música....Solo tiene que estar en las manos de las personas adecuadas.
It always brings tears to my eyes and a strange sensation into my heart, to see symbolism of these children.

Roger Waters is the greatest musician and a greatest artist personality. in the modern world.
This never gets old. Best thing that happened to me was that when I was nine years old (1993), my father played me some of his favorite records and there where couple of classics from Pink Floyd.
