Pink Floyd · Another Brick In The Wall (Parts I-II-III)
Вставка
- Опубліковано 15 січ 2023
- The three parts of Another Brick In The Wall joined together. I also used "The Thin Ice", "The Happiest Days Of Our Lives" and "Goodbye Cruel World", to make it seamless. It's a concept album, so it makes perfect sense to have all that together.
Give it a listen and enjoy!
All credits to the artists.
Just got an ad in the middle of this song, it should be a crime to do that
couldn't agree more
Bull shit hey
Definitely horrible placement for an ad. Could've at least waited for a break
But we got the message right?
Damn.
I remember my dad listening to this song when I was a kid. I'm 29 now and maybe my kids will remember us listening to it now.
They will 😁
im 43. This song has been with me since a kid also. Never leaving me until I leave.
This song never gets old! A true masterpiece
Eagles
Songs* but yeah I totally agree
I bought this album in 1979...what incredible listening to then and still now
This album came out at a dark time in my life aged 15/16yrs. It was a life-saver - held me together for my school years. Always appreciating what musicians can do to heal the soul since.
I'm glad you made it.

My late brother in law (Gary) got me into Floyd when I was about 13 (around 1983) and I've been a fan ever since.
Every time I play an album or hear a tune by pink floyd, I think of him.
Thank you Gary Chadwick, you are missed by all of us.
And thank you for this.
😢sorry for ur loss,,but ur bro in law knows great music, pass it on to ur kids so the Generation of kids will know great music as well

❤wow😊 such beautiful words of affection 😍 💖
Blessings to Mr. Chadwick. He had wonderful taste

Thank you my friend.

He did indeed. I thank you for your kind words.
This is a composition, not just a regular song. Their sound is just so unique and good.
Every song a is a composition, wdym?
@@surreal4972he never took music class and thinks he knows something about music lol
Это Шедевр нашего времени, да и Обратная сторона Луны , что стоит", я выросла на этом, конечно, там были и другие МАСТЕРА, но это душа, впрочем, тогда была жесть
It's a concept album, in which all the songs together provide a meaning to the theme of the album.
By weaving this song in 3 parts through the album expands what a song can be as opposed to a stand alone piece.
I've never done drugs, but listening to this in the middle of the night, while i'm laying in my bed, with my lava lamp on make's me feel like i'm high
I believe it
A little pot wont hurt you.👍

I love Pink Floyd The best ever. I can’t stop listening
same here
Listen, all I know ! 2:30 2:3
2:36 I wish I had the money back in the day
I listen to the entire album at lest once a day. Was there when it came out. Just an old hippie.
This band has a league all on it's own. I know its considered rock but it's really more than that. Pink Floyd had some very unique songs, so different it's just on another scale as anyone ever been.
WE DONT NEED NO THOUGHT CONTROL!!!! This message is even more relevant than it ever has been. Someday this revolutionary song will be chanted through the streets when things finally start to change.
I'm still hoping the Sudbury Valley School model can break through into the mainstream
@@the_Analogist4011 I don’t know what that is lol. Care to explain ?
@@elmonstro7852 in Framingham, MA in 1968 the Sudbury Valley School was founded as a direct democracy. the students themselves elect the staff on an anual basis, there are no grades, no grade levels, and every aspect of the school is governed by the school meeting.
there is an interview with Dan Greenburg from 1988 when the school was 20 years old. its called "What Sudbury Valley is all about". Dan Greenburg has since passed on, but the school is very much still in business and has inspired others who often call themselves "sudbury schools".
many of Dan's books can be bought directly from the school. I have a copy of "Free at Last: the Sudbury Valley School"
When the changes finally come i will be long gone but i no my young grand daughter will stand proud and never be forgotten 🤫
You do realise it's a double negetive, meaning he is saying "we need thought control"
Think about it for a second.
When musicians played instruments. Iconic sounds.
now a computer and a teenage girl is all it takes to make music sadly.
The lack of understanding in your comment is astounding and honestly it's the reason pop tarts come with instructions
I love Pink floyd to death, but modern day musicians aren’t horrible 💀 Artists like Tame Impala still make really good albums
@@Simp4Gwyn maybe english is not her/his native but wants to praise the music (like me)
@@Simp4Gwyn it is, but the ratio of good/brainrot that is being pumped out today is 80/1. if you want really good, meaningful music, you gotta dig up the oldies or search deep. i tell you this from a country where good music is practically an endangered species.
This composition was how I first heard the song on the radio from Cleveland, Ohio. Awesome Pink Floyd musicianship.
Entendu en Europe également, Belgique ,frère ! ..avec toi, avec vous ! ..pour un monde meilleur !
Lifelong Cleveland resident here(west 117th and Lorain) so you heard Floyd on WMMS?
Pink Floyd, simply the Best ever!!
One of the best songs of all time. It never gets old, clearly shows me how much quality it truly was. Only a handful of groups I would like to go back in time and listen and Pink Floyd is just one of them. I wish I was able to listen the Pink Floyd while it was active.
This trilogy (if you count the happiest days of our life) is the best thing to zone out to!
ill recommend another great trilogy, “The holy trinity” by Tool
Can't agree more. :)
This album set the tone for the 80's (Miami Vice, Madonna, Wall Street, Pop Culture, etc.)
Would gladly do it again.
❤🇺🇸
Agreed, just a pity those who control the ad breaks on here decide to stick one in before the whole thing has finished! I know You Tube have to do it, but, please, before, after or between songs!

I myself had a massive stroke in '17. I'm 68. Your Dad has good taste in Music. I'm glad you and your Dad are a good team. The Texas Medical Center in Houston has done wonders for my stroke.
Good luck to you and your strong father
Stay strong my stroke brothers ❤️🙏
Keep playing it for him. I have had two strokes and a heart attack and music definitely keeps me going 😊
[Part 1]
Daddy's flown across the ocean
Leaving just a memory
A snapshot in the family album
Daddy, what else did ya leave for me?
Daddy, whatcha leave behind for me?
All in all it was just a brick in the wall
All in all it was all just bricks in the wall
"You! Yes, you behind the bikesheds, stand still lady!"
When we grew up and went to school
There were certain teachers who would
Hurt the children in any way they could
(oof!)
By pouring their derision
Upon anything we did
And exposing every weakness
However carefully hidden by the kids
But in the town it was well known
When they got home at night, their fat and
Psychopathic wives would thrash them
Within inches of their lives.
[Part 2]
We don't need no education
We don't need no thought control
No dark sarcasm in the classroom
Teachers, leave them kids alone
Hey, Teachers, leave those kids alone
All in all its just another brick in the wall
All in all you're just another brick in the wall
We don't need no education
We don't need no thought control
No dark sarcasm in the classroom
Teachers, leave them kids alone
Hey, Teachers, leave those kids alone
All in all you're just another brick in the wall
All in all you're just another brick in the wall
[Guitar]
[Part 3]
I don't need no arms around me
I don't need no drugs to calm me
I have seen the writing on the wall
Don't think I need anything at all
No, don't think I need anything at all
All in all it was all just bricks in the wall
All in all you were all just bricks in the wall
..merci pour sa ! ..le fond de notre pensée est là !
@@yvanboudart you're welcome
The "I don't need no drugs to calm me" line needs to be on blast nowadays with how fast they want to kids on meds.
Awesome 💯 thanks for taking the time to put these lyrics to all three parts into one comment post 🤘😎 your a great person and Rockstar to the furthering of understanding and advancement of the human beings experience. 🙏
Merci
I was in college on a spring day in 1983 in a business class with the windows open and this song playing. Our teacher appreciated it and wove it into what he was talking about. As he was finishing, he said his lesson was about to reach a crescendo, just as the song was. We all cracked up. A great memory. Ironic we had a cool teacher, unlike the one in the song.
Floyd concert is the most epic. Just the crowd outside is worth the admission. Just an enchanting and mesmerizing time.
Love this 1979 Album ❤44 years it's still a great sounding Album by David Gilmour and Pink Floyd 🎼🎶🎵🎹🎹🎹🎹🎷🎸🥁🪇
,.... N O FKN DOUBT ABOUT IT, BRO STEPHEN ❤🎉😅!!! BERNIE GERMANY 😊
I wasn’t David Gilmour behind this, it was roger waters. He wrote the entire album, he just got Pink Floyd to perform it
Nobody ever remembers Roger waters
Roger water..es pink floyd...pink floyd es Roger water....sin el pink floyd no existe....!
This song, the “November Rain” solo, and “Dreams” by Fleetwood Mac all make me feel like I’m in the clouds. It’s such an indescribable feeling, one that you only can relate to when you feel your body and soul leave and then you start to realize that everything is going to be okay.
Wayne. From Melbourne. Vic Australia. Love ❤️. This. Band. And. Can. Play. It. Over and over again 😊😊😊
One of the best albums ever made musically and so poetic. A true masterpiece of work by true music icons
Merci à toi !
This is the bible of the music sacred before starting music one must touch this bilble first to purify his music taste

Pink Floyd was spot on about the education and government systems! God bless you guys!
Bought this concept album as a kid.Blew my Mind🤯The Wall was So Iconic!
At my grandmas funeral I was down with sadness my cousin grabs his iPod nano I put this album on I knew everything was going to be ok 👍
All will be good my friend just remember the good times👍
Awesome friggin beat! Flawless…..just flawless! Love Pink Floyd! Never paid much attention to them until I met my husband. Got rid of the husband, keeping PINK! 😊
Rosé alcoolique
I'm just went through a nasty break up with heroin. I'm so done with that bitch! Glad I can listen to Floyd. But comfortably numb is hard to listen to,reminds me of her...
Three parts of brick are good, but without other tracks of the Wall this masterpiece looks uncomplited. You must listen all this album.
Try watching the album awesome
exactly
Shut up nerd
Real crime not hearing pink Floyd words are great but musical instruments pure gold
Classic album and classic song
Everyone who was around back then remembers part 2 being at number 1 for Christmas. The winter of discontent, as it was called. The first winter of the new Thatcher government. I was 10 and the images in the video were stunning- the marching hammers, the obscene monstrous teacher, and most of all, that tyre on a rope in the playground twisting very slowly against Dave Gilmore’s guitar solo. And all at Christmas!
All my older brothers kinda music when they were teens. much love and respect to all.
They were the Gods. What minds, what skill. No one can ever come close to them.
This movie is amazing 10/10 would HIGHLY reccomend. It can be watched for free on YT
The best rock band in the history of music. Undisputed Kings of Rock.
Pink Floyd: Best band of that era bar none.
That solo makes me fly 10 feet off the ground
Nací escuchando Pink Floyd, y moriré escuchándolo.
one of the best bands EVER masters of the universe
What do you mean ONE of? Try the BEST, EVER.
One of?
They're literally the best
This song gave me chills as a kid.
First time I heard The Wall was cruising Noland Road in Independence, Missouri with one of my cousins. We were in his buddy’s car and I was wedged in the back seat between two huge home stereo speakers.
This is when music was music,it had personality, emotion and above all was fkn awesome
There was just as much crap on the radio then as there is now.
You only remember the good stuff.
@@DopaminedotSeek3rcolonthreethat's what happens when people are nostalgia blind... they think old good, new bad automatically (this is a good album but cmon)

The best rock song of all time.
Anyone else ever saw Pink Floyd in concert I did 1976. It's something I will never forget. I just wish I knew whatever happened to that gal. I took to that concert I had almost fallen in love with her. She disappeared

Amen to that
when i think of pink floyd, i think of the songs roger sang on. he has such a unique voice that doesnt get talked about enough
you do know hes a bit mentally deranged
That album is still 30 years ahead from us,think about it, they made a story, or a complete dream in an album!
We don’t need no THOUGHT CONTROL
When you feel it,dann hast du auch das Wissen.
Saw the video as a kid, was f***ing scared… This song and video is a masterpiece. And always will be!
Pink Floyd debe ser declarado patrimonio musical mundial

The best part of album "The Wall"!
Comfortably numb maybe second
Respectfully disagree; the best part of the album is the whole album
Best driving music during high school
We don't need no thought control. ❤️❤️

When music had more emotion than lust or materialism
there's still meaning in music (and more profound than this work), but you must know how to search it

I had to roll up my son's elementary school about every other month. He is a bright, sensitive child. They were a little scared to see me coming with my sharp teeth. Took him out of that police state. They were awful to these kids.
This version is excellent ! 😊
We was playing this on a Boombox and walked into School singing this and the whole school was singing it it was Echoing through the halls teachers was laughing and singing too.

The only thing in the world that no one can take from us is our thoughts and thoughts, be infinite and think infinitely and without limits, awareness is the key to overcoming all limitations, the world is a glorious party that has given me and you a gift. This pure gift should be used in the best possible way, awareness is equal to freedom, this is my way of life in the infinite, so you also try, and be sure that you will be in the highest layers of the universe.
When I was in 10th grade I had a teacher who seems to fit this part of the lyrics perfectly:
There were certain teachers who would
Hurt the children in any way they could
By pouring their derision
Upon anything we did
And exposing every weakness
However carefully hidden by the kids
This guy clearly had issues. He wanted so badly to be though of as "cool" by us kids and his peers but the only thing that came across was arrogance and spitefulness. He used to wonder why his convertible would always get the roof slashed. He taught chemistry and I wonder how many students over the years were turned off from that field because of him.
Absolute masterpiece
