Yup, that's it, you've peaked! Never seen gas stations shot on film before, I'm gonna have to give this a try. Oh and before I forget, *Aesthetic Tones Bru!*
Technically you'll see those on most lenses stopped down as it comes from light diffraction. I've read that if you have a perfectly round aperture, you wouldn't see the starburst effect.
The green cast is something I've noticed (and hated) when sending Cinestill film out and I thought it was just something inherent to the film! I'm halfway through a roll of unmodified Vision3 500T that I bought mostly because of that problem. WHOOPS! Time to start scanning my own film I guess...
Oh, forgot to mention-- the green cast is something I noticed while using a magenta filter. I was already trying to get rid of green and it was still too green!
it's big sad, but it's okay. I have checked with so many places. Unfortunately she is toast. I explain it in the upcoming vid about the camera actually. Thanks for caring though! haha
Very relaxing. Just love gas stations in the middle of the night where it’s dead silent.
Random person: Hey what's your aesthetic?
Sweet Lou Photography: *TONES*
The Grove Street part had me rolling 🤣

Thanks so much!!!
Love this channel 😍
Really appreciate it!!
What do you shoot the video on/ the shitty early 2000s fx? Looks cool sometimes a bit on the nose
Hey there, I use VHS cam on android. I did a review of it here: ua-cam.com/video/pabZq9hxPTY/v-deo.html
i’m guessing you were shooting at f1.8? were you using a tripod?
nvm the tripod
If you have cinestill and dont take pics of gas stations, are you even a film photographer?
if you shoot things that aren't gas stations, the photos just come out blank
Which Android app do you use for measuring light? What shutter speed do you use for the CineStill 800?
I use "Light Meter - Free" on Android. Regarding shutter speed, it varied photo to photo.
@@SweetLouPhotography Ok thanks👍
You're gonna have to make a trip to Texas (or Alabama) to get some Buc-ee's shots.
I'd love to!!
Man I like your style
Thanks so much! Glad you dig what I'm doing.
10K “Now that’s a nice gas station” merch??
fuck that's good
aren't the starbursts from the lens?
