I love the click when closing a ring also. This is a great tutorial. I like the ones where you incorporate the rubber rings into traditional designs.

This is awesome tutorial. I have men asking for bracelets of which I’ve made them. But this I really think will catch there eye. Even in a necklace for them. I got great idea just looking at this tutorial. Thanks for sharing

I made an entire suit of chain mail (A copy from the Bayeux Tapestry design) out of the black spring steel clothes hangers, winding ( I designed and built the hand winder for 3/8" ID rings) and cutting each one by hand. I found that very good quality Lineman's Pliers worked best for the metal links of spring steel. It took well over 2000 coat hangers, IIRC.

@@catcav29 Thanks. It took months. I still have it after almost 40 years. I was once accused of stealing it from a museum at a Halloween party I wore it to! The Karen would not believe a person could make chainmail armor.
BTW It does work. It was tested with live steel weapons. Bruised, but not badly with a Gambeson underneath it. Chainmail will NOT stop arrows or thin pointy knives.
It is very cold to wear in winter and very hot in summer. Weight- about 65 lbs.
I did the 5 in 1 pattern. 6 in 1 would have been much heavier.

You are such a sweet young lady with an abundance of talent ❤ I absolutely love watching your videos ❤ I am still trying to learn the chain maille ❤ Every time I try to start a project with that, I end up finding out that I have the wrong jump rings ❤ So last night I purchased 3 batches of 18 gauge/3.50 multi-colored jump rings ❤ Hopefully I can finally succeed to make a bracelet ❤ I love your stretchy bracelet one ❤
Also wanted to let you know that I think you have a sweet smile and you are so enjoyable to watch ❤ Still going through all your videos ❤ Thank you for all the videos, and sharing your talent with all of us ❤ Love from Roswell, NewMexico ❤ BIG HUGS ❤❤❤❤👍👍👍👍 I looked at thw prices on the Ring Lord and they are pretty reasonable ❤ I love it !!!! ❤ Order gold for the 18 faufe and purple fir the rubber ring ❤ I have to try and make this bracelet ❤ Thanks a million ❤

I love the idea of doing the 2 and putting something between. What if like with the elf star you connect the 2 outer circles with small rings. Make it sorta like the elf star But not exactly. Does that make any sence. I can see it in my head and it would be amazing but from the brain to type not sure if it's coming across well.

I ❤ your video. These rubber rings are cool. What are the measurements on the inside of them? 9mm?
