Hey all, thank you for having my back on the wifi information. Not to worry, I use this same network in all my videos. It's a teardown network just for making these videos 😀👍
Hello, I use all kinds of different cameras and setups to grab time lapse. It seems like I'm always trying different settings. I don't have specific settings I use, but if there are ones that you have question about, I can try to help.
Great video. They sent me one and I've been enjoying it as well. It's really upped my time lapse game. And it's nice to be able to send prints to my Prusa MK3S+ over the network and monitor it while I'm out and about with the app. Nice little device. Thanks for sharing your experiences.
Chris, hi, greetings from chile, I watch your videos, they are so good and interesting, My question is, when Will You do a biqu bx revision witch the 3.0 versión display, with uart connection to octoprint and HDMI yo dsi display connection? Thanks for your time
sadly that $80 camera is 130 in Canada. Keep in mind that almost any old laptop or desktop you may have at home can run Debian Linux and therefore octoprint. It will be more work than writing octopi to an sd card but that is part of the fun (for some of us)
Thanks for the awersome new episode! Could you do one on the orange pi? ive been thinking about grabbing one but the lack of good solid doc has had me waiting. thanks again Chris!!!
Chris, I told you before, I love the way you do the vids... However, you use the word "mount" when you really are just 'copying' a file to it..... Just a note as this did confuse me a bit from another video. As a former software developer I can tell you that mount and copying a file to a drive or media are completely different. Well done though, thanks.
Hi Chris. I watched your video and it was helpful. I just set mine up and have a couple of questions. Did you notice that the printer doesn't stop printing once the print is done or is that just mine? Also there's no way to adjust the speed of the printer from the app or the browser. Maybe you can check with Mintion about these issues
Mine seemed to stop printing okay, but you're right, I didn't see a way to increase the speed. They release new firmware all the time, I will see if it's on their roadmap.
Well, thanks for the overview.. now i know its nothing for me. I have a business network, and our technicians will not allow any device in it that is not part of the company. Also on my phone i cannot install any app that accesses location etc... Isn't it possible to use the camera without a network? just with the usb cable? Luc
I know that I've said this before but if you wanted to do an updated "Octoprint on Windows" (with multiple instances) that might be a good way to get around the Pi issues.

You did enter a fake password in order to create that QRcode, right?
It's a fake network. 😉
Needs account, has cloud BS. You should know better, Chris. Dropped!🧐
Yep, everything's cloud now a days.
Can you please share the time lapse settings you used to capture the videos you shared? Thanks!

there is possible to connect it with a sonoff mini or another smart plug that control the power supply of a print ?
There aren't any additional inputs or outputs, so it would be hard ton integrate it with other devices.

FIXUMDUDE! Thanks man! It is a handy little deal for sure.

Hey! I will check that out, I didn't know they had a newer version. I will ask Biqu about it.

Agreed, I love setting it up! 😀
Chris, glad you waited - this is the best review on this that i have seen. PS - do you need help? I can come over.
LOL, thanks Dave!
Sadly I can't order in Europe the Netherlands!
They will not confirm the address and or my PayPal account
Well that's a shame to hear.

Thanks! I need to get an Orange Pi and test it out.

I didn't realize I was doing that. I'll try to watch it in the future. Thank you 🙂

@@ChrisRiley I emailed them and they are going to add that soon in one of their new firmware updates. Thanks
Hey Chris, does it is true, that the Prusa MK3 printer does get resettled if pairing with the Beagle camera?
The Prusa does reset when anything connects to it via serial.
@@ChrisRiley ok, thank you!
Thank You Chris. Hoping to get one for Christmas 😏
Thanks Bruce!

Unfortunately, I don't think so.
Do you know why it has a built in microphone? And why would it?
That is the question. Needs signup. Doesn't work without letting a Cloud service into your network. Has a microphone.
Don't divulge your secrets while the Beagle Cam is in the room. LOL. I'm really not sure, maybe they will add voice command at some point.
Goodbye octoprint! I’ll be using these from now on!
Alright! Let us know how it goes!
@@ChrisRiley got it today and it is fantastic. Way easier for me and does everything I need it to.
