- In this episode on Tekniq, we will see extraordinary skills in a factory in China, where gigantic pots are designed from clay and further processed to make them sellable for commercial use.
That is what you call teamwork.
Fantastic four.
fn amazing, lets go what an amazing process. Thanks guys all the way from USA, one day I know the Chinese people will be a free People with a government of their own choice. Freedom for all.
Che forza nelle braccia! Una sberla e giri x 4 giorni. Bravissimi.😊
Its hard enough to learn to throw using just your own body weight and balance let alone working ‘through’ three other humans. Thats nuts! So impressive.
If I ever work there, I want to be the guy who slams the clay down onto whatever surface it needs to be on. I'd be like, "hey Pete, here's yoUR CLAY!!!" **SLAM**
It seems so very satisfying.
The guy who throws is really good. Notice how perfectly centered he gets it? You usually don't see the first throw so well centered. Everyone in this video is very skilled.
Haha😂😅😂!
Here's YOUR daily dose of CLAY.
The strength it takes to shape the pot on the wheel is incredible. I took a pottery class once and couldn't even get raise small pots. I was just no good at it.
It took me a year to get good at it
You may not have had a proper teacher.
My internationally renowned teacher says it takes 45 years + how ever many days since he first started.
Oh don't get sad. Be cheerful. Don't lose hope. Keep doing.
I took a ceramics course in collage and our teacher made out using the wheel as some great skill that takes years to master just making a simple bowl. I made my first bowl in 10 mins and I guess out of spite or anger the teacher proceeded to purposely destroy my creation. After that I never took him serious and never let him touch my projects again. This of course didn't stop other students from ruining my projects either. It was a real eye opening experience for me, that your talents can be despised very easily by others.
I love the quiet, normalized intimacy of this art making so much.
You can create a piece, soup to nuts and not use a computer at all
I would LOVE that job of sitting carving the relief designs, headphones in, totally chilling and creating something so spectacular! Not saying I have the skills to do it, but it's totally the kind of thing I'd love to learn.
Until your boss screams: FASTER, I NEED THIS POT TILL 2PM
Intense focus for long hours... A wonderful thing to do..IF you love the thing you are doing
Totalmente de acuerdo. Cómo resiste la piel de sus manos ✋️?❤
I think the forklift driver has to be really brave
I love that one guy is barefoot the whole time. …in a studio with massive heavy objects and machinery
Whatever they are getting paid, they deserve more! Incredible artists!!!
Talk about earning your pay! It's a wonder they have any hands left at all! Also, the most careful forklift driver in the world! OMG! This is so amazing!
Such beautiful work ….. from green ware to glazed …. Loading that kiln is awesome ! Thank you for showing all of the talented artisans ! ❤😊
The kiln is monstrous! wow, amazing!!❤
I think its a shipping container. I wonder how long it lasts
एक एकदम झकास
True camaraderie. On the wheel, sharing an experience like this enough to make it normal is how we humans find peace...I am sure none of those workers have significant life or family problems. And... I wonder how it was done before fork lifts.
Lots and lots of laborers with pulleys, muscle and patience.
I wonder how they moved those giant pots around in the old days before forklifts.
Likely all carried it out together
cranes likely no?
ancient Chinese secret
The wheel. Using a series of logs placed underneath one at a time - roll forward remove log and move to back. Rinse/repeat.
Lol@@ily3407
MESMERISING!!! Absolutely phenomenal skills! Bless you, TEKNIQ - for this EXCEPTIONAL video!!!!
I can't get over working in a HUGE warehouse with HUGE heavy objects and machinery....in bare feet. WTF??? Crazy skilled craftspeople, though!
To be fair some of them were wearing safety flip flops.
@@jimporter LOL!!!!
our beautiful hands do amazing things. This is mind boggling .
Grey shirt man is literally the tool.
Also my back hurts just watching this 😂
That was a-mazing!! I love how they use their hands together. Craftspeople aren't just the art-makers...they're the peace-makers.
The Chuck Norris of pottery.
😂
Even by only looking at it, I feel how connecting this is to form the pottery by holding each others hands... 💛
This craftsmanship is nothing short of awesome! I wish all people in the world could just stop and appreciate the creativity and ingenuity of humans and stop killing each other over how our governments are different! What a world we would have to be able to watch something like this and be able to participate without the fear of whether or not I am a communist, a capitalist. a socialist, etc.! You guys (and gals) are doing truly great work and hopefully it will be an endless legacy for all of you!
Just amazing, I’m speechless 💕🇬🇧
Such amazing craftmanship! Thank you very much for sharing with us! Great video!!!
wonderful work. Truly masters of what they do
Absolutely amazing! Incredibly skilful! 👍
The epitome of team work! Truly amazing!!
These guys are unbelievable. It's hard to throw an 8" pot,. The carvers, incredible craftsmanship. Jeannine
wonder how high they fired that at
Unchained Melody playing in the background...
Wow ! The Pottery House for the Gods ! To do the centering of clay is challenging for just one person.... but two or three ? 😲😲😲 Incredible harmonic talent !
i like big bowls, i can not lie😂
So talented. Beautiful work.
Se eu tivesse dinheiro, sem dúvida compraria esses vasos ,são lindos. Os chineses criam objetos espetaculares.
Parabens!
That is insane. I wonder how they do the ones that are taller than them
They have a night crew of giants. I work with the day crew.
They put two together to get the height, i think.
Fascinating but I’m left with so many questions. Eg What was that black stuff on the first pot?
@fibienn250 it may have been a glaze or an under glaze. An underglaze is like a paint and then you put a glaze over it, then fire it.
They do the bottom. The next section is a cylinder, open on the top and the bottom. They join those two pieces together. They can even do a third layer.
This was so cool to watch. I’d love to go on vacation and sit in with you guys. Awesome video!
Very Beautiful 🤩
Back breaking work. I will never see large pots the same way again.
Such skill creating enormous beautiful objects
Strong guys making wonderful artworks.
Gorgeous. I want one!
What are the giant bowls used for? I guess plants but anything else?
❤Very large amounts of soup. 🇬🇧
I can see why they didn't make Ghost 2.
😂🤣
I would love to see how they did the very tall pots.. the ones where the men cannot reach the bottom from the outside.
They are so beautiful!
Many probably dont know how much force it takes to center and work with such an amount of clay… those guys have INCREDIBLE skill.
What memories come flooding back to me. Wonderful environment to work in too. Although that folk lift driver was not on his game 100%.
Some of the Peaces were so well designed. The kiln would cost a bit to run though. Thank you for the share.
Next event in Olympics. 👍❤️🤙
So beautiful. Hypnotic and peaceful. ❤
fn amazing, lets go what an amazing process. Thanks guys all the way from USA, one day I know the Chinese people will be a free People with a government of their own choice. Freedom for all.
КАКАЯ КРАСОТА, КАЖДАЯ РАБОТА ПРОИЗВЕДЕНИЕ.ТАКОЙ КОЛОССАЛЬНЫЙ ТРУД🙏🙏🙏👍👍👍❤
This gives a whole new meeting to team work….. mesmerizing!
Amazing change of shape while they are in the oven, I didn’t expect that!
@@jerryatrick6127 LOL
@@jerryatrick6127😂
Two different firings. ;)
anyone else played Unchained Melody in their heads starting at 2:46 ?
The SKILL!! My god 😳😳😳
Ghost would be a different movie if this was the size of pottery Patrick and Demi made. They would have needed a couple more people
Team pottery throwing?! 🤯 amazing!!!
Look at the wooden block under the wheel that was design to accommodate the forklift....
Then imagine how much torque the wheel have. And then imagine how it feel if their legs touch the wooden block.
4:48 That look. "holy fk I have so much work ahead of me." Then he picks up the bush and continues going. What a professional.
Was anybody else singing unchained melody in their head while watching this?

ただの飾り?
I love those hugely oversized pots.
Impresionante…que trabajo tan difícil! El grabar las piezas, la manera de moldearlas, el hornear, todo impresionante. Bendiciones
amazing work you surprise really i enjoyed watching this people while they working to bring products to life . thanks
We are trying to normalize the idea that you have no friends at work, but I couldn't do this without some level of genuine like amongst the trio.
Fabulous skill, I love the way it's measured at the end of the process. If I had done this, the measurememt would be incorrect.:) :)
Sangat memukau sekali melihat proses pembuatan tembikar terbessr
It's very interesting. They have a piece of cloth attached to the bat to let them know when a full rotation has completed.
Very nice work! What do they use such large containers for?
They're so beautiful. Amazing to see how they're created from start to finish. That kiln is terrifying though.
This reminds me of Americans who find really large rocks in the field and must use a tractor to have them moved into their yards.
Why? Because it's a cool rock! So big!
I would love to have a couple of the smaller pots in my garden; bring on the skills of China's artisans to the West.
I bet that guy would surprise you on a bench press.
So creative and talented. No weapon.
This factory is the Grinder of pottery makers.
I love how everything in China is done in teams.
This is fascinating. 7:15 intrigued what this man was doing. Curious how they make the ones taller than a person. Oh if I was wealty enough to have one. I see a rabbit hole in my future. Thank you.
He is laying down sand to help level the blocks.
The size of the kilns blew my mind…especially seeing the size of those pots being loaded!
@@lagoulou Right! I wonder how old the kiln is.
It has to be said china does and always has produced some of the finest pottery and ceramics in the world!
Those guys all have very strong, muscular arms because it obviously takes a lot of upper body strength to turn those big pots! 👍🏼👍🏼
Çok zor ve zahmetli bir işmiş başarılar dilerim.
Thats why huge pots cost so much and are usually plain
What a team work..!!
Wow!! This is amazing. How everyone works together in shaping and forming the vases, to painting and then firing.
I took a pottery class in college. Put a lump of clay on the potter's wheel, started it to spin and the lump of clay came off the wheel and hit the wall. Still got a B in the class.
fn amazing, lets go what an amazing process. Thanks guys all the way from USA, one day I know the Chinese people will be a free People with a government of their own choice. Freedom for all.
Impressive How 4 Men Can Work Like Minded,
No Quarell!
I loved getting to watch this! This is so cool how you do this very beautiful and difficult work. Just outstanding. Thank you.
Forklift driver gets paid the most.
dream work teamwork something something
They are working in bare feet! Amazing!
Guy at the end with shirt off acting like hes trying to help push lol
The clay appears to be kaolin or porcelain. That type of clay is difficult to “throw” because it lacks the elasticity of low-fire and stoneware clays. Incredible skills but the thick walls help maintain the pots shape.
Beautiful work and art. Such wonderful results. ❤
São muito lindos!!! Parabéns!
I have never worn white shorts to throw clay. How about you? That's when you know he's good.
How did they come out painted from the oven?
Espectacular, maravilla de taller y trabajo en equipo, espectacular , trabajo fascinante
What they could do, as a novelty product, is to produce colossal cups and saucers.
incredible job!
Must take some mad skills just to center that.
Really cool!
Incredible team work but I'm really worried for their backs!
So cool. What's the name of this factory?
Far more skilled, than the ones that actually made the largest pots!..(in Denmark...at least they are, bigger than these)
