Very nicely done. Unless I missed it, I don't see the link for the plumbing fittings. Could you provide that? Also, did you buy a prefab siphon drain? If so, is it the same link? If not, would you provide that also. I also see that you did not set up a filter system which I understand is fine if your operation is small. Do you plan on adding a filter system later? I think you did an overall great job of explaining and filming. I hope you continue to add content.
Thanks for the sub, here is the link for the siphon and fitting www.ebay.com.au/itm/194619774173?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=705-154756-20017-0&ssspo=RSV2-BCzQyu&sssrc=2349624&ssuid=ZugeExdyRGa&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY Could easily make this yourself after doing some research. With the filter system I plan on doing an upgrade soon and will post that vid up also, thanks for the feedback
@@Homeonthetools thanks for getting back to me. I just checked the link and the cost for those items would be US$72 and that sounds a little on the expensive side to me. I had previously considered making my own which I will probably do now. I just thought if the price was right, I might buy it, but I think that is too expensive for me.
Hi there Here is a link to an ibc kit, I would however just get each piece from your local hardware to save a few dollars in hindsight, good luck with your build and thanks for watching www.ebay.com.au/itm/176031802770?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=705-154756-20017-0&ssspo=15xBnhx1T4y&sssrc=4429486&ssuid=ZugeExdyRGa&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY
Hello, nice video and build. I have a question. Assuming you can use it for edible fish, isnt the space (between grow bed and tank) limited for larger fish, catching with net etc? Cheers!!
Thanks, Absolutely can use this for edible fish, I currently have some on order, good call on the space being limited to get out larger fish, I have actually already cut the opening up a bit larger to compensate at the front(worked this out when I went to put some plants in the bottom tank) thanks for the feedback
Do you find it difficult to access the fish part of this? Doesn't look like you really even have enough room to fit a net through to catch one. I like the design, I just want to be sure it's practical, don't you have to be able to wash the fish tank from time to time?
Since making this video I have made an access point at the front by cutting out some of the IBC lower frame and plastic, it does reduce the water level by maybe 20cm but I have much better access to feed the fish and do maintenance etc, I haven’t needed to clean the tank over a year on, it seems to stay pretty clean, I also have water plants in there which I think helps
I enjoyed this video very much, thank you.😊
Thanks for watching
Can you do more of these videos 😊
Absolutely
can you please include where you bought the poly pipe kit link it does not show up on ebay

@@kmparadice6254 definitely make yourself, reckon it would cost half that, it is a pretty basic and in hindsight I would have made from scratch
hi you said you put the link for the pipes from Ebay, where can i find it?

How many liters did it take to fill the top with the clay balls?
Hey mate, I used 5 x 45L bags, NOT a cheap exercise that’s for sure
@Homeonthetools what's the cheapest hydro medium to use? Can't you just use rocks?
@pon-vq6fo you can use rocks just need to be mindful of the weight, this setup is pretty solid, if using rocks I would not fill all the way up
I know one thing... I'm definitely not using those expensive azz clay pebbles that pricing is ridiculous
