An update to this.. 1. I lost my iphone on 7th april.. 2. Recorded ddr on same day. 3. Locked device 4. Enabled lost mode on that apple id. 5. Registered on ceir portal for imei blocking 6. Connected with police when ceir portal updated some info. 7. After no hope got details from police after 3 months got updated for device found as blocking imei on ceir made it of no use.

Here is your answer: yes what you did will block your current mobile. The IMEI number that is supposed to be put on website is the one with lost phone. Dialing code with new device will give you IMEI no. Of new device. Here's what you can do to get your lost mobile IMEI. Every mobile box have IMEI no. Of mobile written on it. if you have lost mobiles box check on it for imei number. On finding it, put those IMEI no's on website. This will block your lost phone and not your current handset.
