Hey man, just wanted to let you know that this morning I saw your tutorial and this afternoon I tried on my car.
Previous times I tried with other methods, but yours is just the best.
I got the tint evenly spread, no bubbles, no fingers, just black dark tint all over the windows.
Thank you for this tutorial, I really appreciate it.
    Thanks from Italy!

I've freehanded for 15 years and bought a plotter! What a game changer! I've seen too many rookies slice paint, weather stripping or leave blade marks using this method. I wont cut on vehicles...I cut the top edge of the glass first, then I roll up and adjust my marks and cut on a table.(only when I freehand), but will cut both driver and passenger at the same time by facing the tint clear side to clear side. Your advice is spot on tho! I've been 3M certified since 2004. I'm known for my one piece back windows on old vettes and vw beetles...nice work!!! I also do wraps, clear bra, hydro dip and I'm ase/mecp certified with 24 years installing 12volt

Just about EVERYTHING you are doing in this video is very very good. It is super informative. Possibly the best window tint video around. However, there are 2 things that could be improved. I apologize if someone else already mentioned them. One, if you are not wanting to remove the inside door panel, simply cover it with some blue painters tape and a dry-cleaner clear plastic bag. No matter what car I own, I don't really want (water, soapy water, silicone water, etc.) anything sprayed on my door panel. It could be leather, or cloth, or anything, but it;'s easy enough to cover it on the inside. Two, I know you are working with the panel on, so your video is pretty much perfect, but when it comes to using the heat gun around the rubber molding, and especially on the inside door panel, that is a recipe for a problem. You may have the experience, but that is dangerous for the majority of DIY'ers that haven't worked with a heat gun before. Thank you for the well done video.

Tip from my mother back in 1987 while watching me struggle to pull the clear film from the tint while tinting my Porsche 914 when I was 17: "Why don't you put a piece of Scotch tape on the clear side in one corner and one on the tint side mirroring it , then stick them together (not all the way) and then peel them apart. The sticky sides of the tape will pull the clear and the tint away from each other with no blemish at all?" Works like a charm every time.

Makes straight window install look far more boring than dealing with the crazy convex contours of auto glass.

Greatly detailed instructions all around !!! Beginners should be aware that most of the delicate steps especially the cutting requires muscle memory meaning you have done it before a least a dozen times successfully. Also another one is shrinking by heat gun which looks quick and easy here but a beginner would apply too much or too little heat that eventually burns or creases the film. Be ready to ruin many films before becoming like 50% of the quality work seen in this video, otherwise seek professional installer like this guy.

Well, I am 54 and thought I knew a lot. 1st I would have put it on the inside if I were just guesstimating, 2nd the way with the squeegee was great. 3rd and most importantly I learned the indentations on the blade were break off blades. Great vid and I almost didn't watch because it wouldn't dl and had gone to next vid in line then came back. Very well done

I tinted many cars. I just use the platinum ez reach for tucking the film under the gasket.

Excellent! I like to see perfection and you demonstrated it. I would have definitely brought my car for tinting at your company. Bravo. (I realized though that a super clean environment is a must for this type of work.)
