The door panels should always be covered in plastic sheeting, always. Soapy water can corrode electronic (switch) connections as well as stain some leathers. This is a simple and quick process that installers do!
Thanks for the tips. I just had my BMW tinted and the installer messed up big time. He clearly didn't know how to install or disable with frameless windows.
same .. mine peeled from bottom within a week .. had to bring it back .. second time it peeled from dot matrix after 6 months .
Also has peeling with my bmw; and TERRIBLE dot matrix.

Nice to see you put so much attenton to detail, i might also use masking tape at the begining of de dot matrix before using the steel wool, to make sure you wont scratch the glass.

Super late. But most vehicles have a drain that automatically goes to the bottom of the door. And you open the plug at the bottom of the door to drain the water.

Just had my windows tinted 3 days ago and the bottom of the tint for the drivers side has cracks (bmw 4 series convertible so the window goes down when door is opened) is there anything I can do to fix this or stop it from happening again as the company provided lifetime warranty but this is second time it has happened

We only cut the bottom if it is not straight

Hello, i have a 2001 lexus es300 with frameless windows and I ordered a 10ft long and 40inch width tint, is it enough for the front 2 and back windows plus the rear windshield???
No bc you’ll mess up 1 or 2 windows and throw those films out
My BMW 328i windows go down about an inch when opening the door. How do I raise the window back up when the door is open so I can get the tint all the way to the bottom of the glass?

Window Tint Warriors I saw you put the screwdriver in the locking mechanism but it didn’t raise the window. I tried that in my car and the window did not go all the way up.

Shouldve covered the inside of the door so water dont wet the door electronics.
All that this video has done for me is convinced me not to try this myself and just pay the £200 to get it done for me
