This is the only black metal band I can enjoy listening to... It doesn't sound as raw as Mayhem or Burzum... Not implying that these bands are bad... It's just that I like when riffs are well put together with the vocals and drums it sounds pretty decent to me
Immortal for me is one of the very best entry level BM bands. You can't go wrong with them. Black Metal in general is supposed to sound raw. If you're interested i could recommend you a good chunk of Black Metal bands.

I remember when I first discovered this in 8th grade when this video came out, I had never heard anything like it, I couldn’t even comprehend what the guitar was doing or how the drums were even possible. Needless to say I’m still a huge fan of immortal, just loved them from the moment I found this

There IS Immortal, with Demonaz and Horgh. Strange, that they have a band with cool lyrics, and music, and that's it, and Abbath have a good voice, and guitar skills, with mediocre/boring music, and stupidsimple lyrics. :D
