It looks like the bike fits you very well and I’m thrilled to hear you say that the rear suspension has soft cushy settings that will allow you to pamper your back injuries and still be able to participate and enjoy your favorite hobby! I have been fitting my bicycles with BMX or BMX race Cruiser handlebars for over 20 years now and agree that a more upright position is both more comfortable and a safer way to ride a bike. Thanks for not doing a high speed run until you had a camera with you. It was very exciting to hear your emotional reaction to the bikes acceleration and ability to gather up speed even though the battery only had one bar of power left. The Wired Freedom with it’s higher speeds might make it more feasible for you to use for your work commute into the city once it warms up some. The only bad thing that I can find about the Wired Freedom is that it’s introduction into your life might make your Rip Racer and X-Class feel a little lonely and jealous. But I know that there is no need for me to worry, You always seem to have plenty of love ❤️ to share with all the people, pets, and things that you care about! After watching this video teaser, all I can say is, “Happy High Speed Riding!” : )
I’m so glad Wired sent me the blue color haha! This bike does fit me like a glove! Those tiny eBikes I’ve been riding lately like the Pony made me look like a giant lol! And yes, my back is so happy with the rear suspension… so we like the same handlebars! I was not expecting that kind of power on an almost empty battery- I’m sure you could hear the surprise in my voice lol! Yes! Great point- I’ll be able to do my longer distance commutes with this one without range anxiety! I’m glad you’re not worrying my Robot friend with me spreading the love amongst my pev’s! Lol, your laughing made me laugh! Man, that bike moves..even at low power. Wish my Xclass had that battery/controller setup, it'd mean more fun for me. That bike is growing on me. I usually stick to the sporty looking bikes..but some higher handlebars, motorcycle headlight, color walled tires, and a paint job would make it "Sid worthy". It comes standard with a one mile extension cord, but for extended range, I really recommend that you get the optional five mile long extension cord upgrade. You’ll be glad you did! : )

Great Video! Been waiting and watching it pop up here in there. Glad to see first impressions! My bike is weird being a 23 model with so many differences then other 23s but not a 24. Kinda interesting. Samsung, rear suspension is similar to 23 with plenty of controller room though, usb in display which I believe 23s didnt have. rear rack is neither a 23 or 24. Never seen another "posted" anyways online like it. Very interesting but I love it! Best thing I did was get mirrors. I got the style that goes in bar ends. I recommend to not get those as a simple tip can easily break them. I let go thinking I had kickstand down and whoops, there goes my mirror. lol I also moved the display down to the next bar and straddled the steering stem with it. I did that mainly because I was bored and figured it would protect it more. But that could give you more options for accessories mounted on the top bar. Happy to see this video though! Cant wait for more! :D

Rabbit Homesteading, that is very interesting that your model is unique among other model years! It sounds as if maybe Wired is constantly updating and refining their product line. The advantage that you chose one early is that you’ve been able to enjoy it longer! You’ve been trying to tell us that it was fast. I think that Electrified Latina now has a clearer idea of what you were talking about : ) I don’t think that she was quite expecting all that!
@@robotbroken For an ebike it is strong. Me not having any other I cant say but seems to me it is. But I also go in settings to 1000w to get better range and it is still strong there. I wish they would let you go even lower but 1000w is lowest. I also will adjust max speed to 20mph on long rides. I mean 20 is still a good speed. I love being able to tinker with the settings. So cool! And Liking our little EL family! Fun stuff! :D

Maximum charge is the worst thing you can do for your battery just to show how much you know about e bikes. You should do a little research before recommending bikes, maybe even actually ride them before you pontificate. Self proclaimed Wired expert but have never ridden the Freedom, MaximumFraud❤
There is nothing that prevents a Corvette from going 15 miles per hour in a school zone. I think that if you are aware of your surroundings, adjust your speeds to accommodate other trail users and ride in a courteous manner, you should be fine under most circumstances.
I bought this bike to kinda sorta fit in better then other styled ebikes that are obvious like the moped style ect... I dont know your laws there but I would in critical riding zones just be cool, drive slowly and at least ghost pedal to blend in the most you can.
You made the right choice with picking this eBike santan! It’s perfectly legal to ride it on a bike trail with its bike looks, pedals and the bike does come as a class 2 eBike limited to 20 mph. And I agree with what my friends here in the comments say! “You can ride a corvette on a school zone at 15 mph”- perfect example! You were very concerned about typographical errors in the competitor for wired. Check page 50 in your wired manual, and in bold letters at the top of the page look how they spell battery! “BATTERTY”

The day before I rode in sub freezing temperatures- when I got back home my battery was showing full bars and so I turned it off- the next day when I shot this video when I turned on my display to my dismay it was down to one battery and I was already planning on doing this video and there was no time to charge! Wish they sold the electrical systems separately, the bike itself is a horrible Frankenstein build, looks DIY, BMX bar on a full suspension,😢 so consequently it's a cross between a cruiser and a mountain bike and does neither well. To make this bike any good you need to convert it back to a mountain bike, give it some nice bar ends for comfort while cruising, 40t chain ring max to if can't figure out a way to put a 2 by on the front. Would love to see a hill climbing challenge between this bike and one of the Goat bikes and maybe the Grizzly.
Have you ridden this Wired bike? To know how it performs… you don’t like how it looks, but there’s a ton of people that do, beauty is in the eye of the beholden. I’m sure some youtuber will have a hull climbing challenge between those bikes you mentioned. Thanks for watching
One company is run by an ex con, the other by a couple of lawyers. There is no market for a $5000 + AWD in 2024 so e cells blames Wired for its woes because the $2000 Wired Freedom outperforms the insanely overpriced AWD bikes that e cells sells. I bet they make 3k per bike but only sell about 50 a year. Regardless, it will be fun to see how Wired responds to In-cells, should be very entertaining!
Wired just needs to keep doing what they're doing- which is honest business. The ecells Five Star is a pathetic attempt to enter into a competitive segment
Yes, Bob is correct. She has stated in other videos that she is five feet eleven inches tall, 31 inch inseam and 145 lbs. She was also a competitive cyclist and a tri-athlete that was being groomed for the Olympics in her youth, which I think is an interesting backstory.

They might be charging less, BUT there is no way that E-Cells will have a motor as powerful as Wired, and with it’s great customer service - so E-cells eBike won’t be as powerful. Maximum charge is the worst thing you can do for your battery just to show how much you know about e bikes. You should do a little research before recommending bikes, maybe even actually ride them before you pontificate. Self proclaimed Wired expert but have never ridden the Freedom, MaximumFraud❤

I’m waiting for this bike to arrive but I’m afraid if I ride it on the bike trail somebody might say it illegal to be there I live in Virginia
There is nothing that prevents a Corvette from going 15 miles per hour in a school zone.
I think that if you are aware of your surroundings, adjust your speeds to accommodate other trail users and ride in a courteous manner, you should be fine under most circumstances.
I bought this bike to kinda sorta fit in better then other styled ebikes that are obvious like the moped style ect... I dont know your laws there but I would in critical riding zones just be cool, drive slowly and at least ghost pedal to blend in the most you can.
You made the right choice with picking this eBike santan! It’s perfectly legal to ride it on a bike trail with its bike looks, pedals and the bike does come as a class 2 eBike limited to 20 mph. And I agree with what my friends here in the comments say! “You can ride a corvette on a school zone at 15 mph”- perfect example! You were very concerned about typographical errors in the competitor for wired. Check page 50 in your wired manual, and in bold letters at the top of the page look how they spell battery!

The day before I rode in sub freezing temperatures- when I got back home my battery was showing full bars and so I turned it off- the next day when I shot this video when I turned on my display to my dismay it was down to one battery and I was already planning on doing this video and there was no time to charge! BUT, tomorrow I have a full review and I’m doing a top speed run on a full battery! Would love to see you there, please subscribe would love to have you be a part of the E Latina Family ❤️

Wish they sold the electrical systems separately, the bike itself is a horrible Frankenstein build, looks DIY, BMX bar on a full suspension,😢 so consequently it's a cross between a cruiser and a mountain bike and does neither well. To make this bike any good you need to convert it back to a mountain bike, give it some nice bar ends for comfort while cruising, 40t chain ring max to if can't figure out a way to put a 2 by on the front. Would love to see a hill climbing challenge between this bike and one of the Goat bikes and maybe the Grizzly.
Have you ridden this Wired bike? To know how it performs… you don’t like how it looks, but there’s a ton of people that do, beauty is in the eye of the beholden. I’m sure some youtuber will have a hull climbing challenge between those bikes you mentioned. Thanks for watching
One company is run by an ex con, the other by a couple of lawyers. There is no market for a $5000 + AWD in 2024 so e cells blames Wired for its woes because the $2000 Wired Freedom outperforms the insanely overpriced AWD bikes that e cells sells. I bet they make 3k per bike but only sell about 50 a year. Regardless, it will be fun to see how Wired responds to In-cells, should be very entertaining!
Wired just needs to keep doing what they're doing- which is honest business. The ecells Five Star is a pathetic attempt to enter into a competitive segment

She has stated in other videos that she is five feet eleven inches tall, 31 inch inseam and 145 lbs.
She was also a competitive cyclist and a tri-athlete that was being groomed for the Olympics in her youth, which I think is an interesting backstory.

@mpbikes 1972 It’s the other way around! E-Cells just made a direct copy eBike of Wired which is SO lame! They might be charging less, BUT there is no way that E-Cells will have a motor as powerful as Wired, and with it’s great customer service - so E-cells eBike won’t be as powerful. Wired eBikes all the way!
