- Thanks to Moza and Trak Racer, my girlfriend Bea has her very first racing simulator! It uses an Alpine Racing TRX as the base rig, a Moza R9 as the wheel, and Moza SRP as the pedals.

As an alternative to the caster wheels, I recommend just sticking some felt pads under the regular feet. I do that with my aluminum profile rig, and it's both super sturdy and very convenient to move around the apartment for cleaning. The felt pads make it easy to slide the whole rig when you want to, but stay firmly in place otherwise. Worth mentioning I have hardwood flooring, not carpet. Don't think that would work with carpet.
That's a good idea. If I was going to leave it permanently in one building, that would be the ideal solution, but I've already needed to take it out of my apartment once, so the convenience of the wheels is undeniable. Honestly, it also would be hard to take them on and off when needed, but I'm too lazy lol
Congrats to Bea--you got a keeper in Cam! Great review. Didn't know how adjustable this rig is--much more than most. Definitely going on the short list for my rig upgrade.

Well... I fucking love Sim Racing and Sim Racing content from lot of people. Yet still I don't have the financial abilities to buy a sim rig or hell even a wheel. I am happy for your GF to have this rig but also kinda jealous.

I wish they could put some of those adjustable elements in the profile rig. Tube rigs are great, but they’re a one and done mostly. Whole profile rigs are infinitely adjustable.

How much of an impact does the 12 inch mod for the es wheel make? I am looking to upgrade from a g923 to the r5 Moza bundle, but my only concern is that the standard es wheel is pretty small (like the g923). Does it make for a more comfortable experience?

Hai man, very detailed video! Great job, I’m wondering if GT seats compatible with the TRX in case if I want to swap it out.
I’ve had this rig for 3 months now and I think it’s brilliant. Im more into F1 racing and occasionally play GT so this was perfect as other rigs I researched just felt to complicated to switch between the two positions. I’m not using it with the keyboard tray or wheels and I feel it’s super solid and no flex. I agree, however, the instructions manual could have been clearer
What wheel base do you use?

whats the lowest you get get the wheel if you invert it? would it go under a desk (70cm)

My sim rig was 15 bucks 😬 was meant for a Logitech g920 but holes fit perfect just had to zip tie the pedals on😂 theyre stable and dont even move. Incredible adjustability on the little thing too, sadly no spot for a seat but make little difference

Not a mod. It's the default hill climb in Assetto. I think it's called Trente-something?
Free gear is nice but the most amazing part of this is that your girl likes to sim race.
"Likes" is a bit of a stretch, but she's willing to learn which is the main thing. Everyone gets the sim bug eventually 🤣

Doesn't seem to be worth it honestly. With that money, you'd expect the rig to be more solid right? And that's only the moza R9. What if you have a more powerful wheelbase?

Waiting since last year to get my TRX so when did you order yours? Trak liar just dont give a damn about the people that have actually paid for there product at all
We fulfilled all orders to customers that purchased from us before Feb 1, 2023. Please specifiy if you purchased direct from Trak Racer or from a reseller. If you made a purchase from a reseller it would be related to them not getting your order to us when they should have. We dont have visibility of reseller orders i'm sorry. @@TrakracerAu i ordered it from you directly in 2022 100% so your not speaking truthfuly saying you fullfilled all orders before feb 1, 2023. I ordered a blue one and apparantly you didnt get enough blue ones and asked me to take a black one and i said no so im stuck until god knows when to get it but you guys send one to this guy and he didnt order it last year like me so really you send them to people you want and not the people that paid and supported you for a preorder putting faith in your company. Just look over your records for people that paid for them in 2022 on Nov 29th and you find me the guy you didnt send one but paid for it and your sending blue ones out though. How would u feel? Only money right in the end im glad i could help you out. Your saying contact customer support im saying you should be contacting me actually fullfilling your order that a paying customer paid for its called Goods and Services you might of herd of it
