As a Spaniard I have to say: Great job! really... a lot of youtubers (and people) don't understand all the things you guys perfectly explain... thank you!!
Hi!! I am spanish, from Barcelona, and I think this is one of the best travel guide about Spain and with most accurate information that I have ever seen! Congratulations @vagabrothers, amazing job! Actually I have learned a few things from your video that I didn't know. I live I abroad and after watching your video made feel so homesick! specially from my hometown Barcelona!! I would love to watch more videos similar to this one! Congratulation again!
Wow! As a Catalan and Spanish person, I'm really impressed by your research and the information you provided! Thank you for clarifying so many things, and for stating the socio - economical background of the country and the problems we have right now :) Hope people get aware about the over tourism situation, we love visitors but it's crazy in Barcelona :S I'd love more content like this, keep it coming :D
I love Spain, the culture, the food, the people. Been to Madrid, Malaga, Barcelona and Valencia. All beautiful cities...would love to go again after the crazy COVID is over.
Great job guys!!! I am from Sevilla, Spain, and makes me happy to see a video which actually tells all the TRUTH about my country and really helpful tips. I love how you guys really get in deep into the culture on everywhere you travel and tell to the UA-cam community as well about the history; not just the "Oh god this is the most awesome landscape/ view ever" and show the images. You guys treat every country with such a great respect and you don't seem to fall in any of the cliches of just making quick, easy and lazy UA-cam videos once you have built an endurable community of followers as you have. You seems to improve yourselves everytime and innovate. You guys seems that you really love travel and enjoy the journey. Makes me sad sometimes to see many travel UA-camrs that it is more about themselves and to gain some protagonism in the socialmedia rather than really enjoy what they do. But you guys have such a great RESPECT AND PASSION for what you do. Keep the great job, I see a bright and exciting future for you both!! THANK YOU!!
I've watched a lot of guides of Spain and this is the most accurate spanish culture guide ever. Obviously Spain is a little bit more but for 20 minutes guide they don't forget anything, everything is true here and also they add a little of history in the guide. Good job!!! Sorry for the english, as you might guess I'm from Spain...
it is not accurate at all..catholic king was from aragon ...what lenguage was in aragon?chinesse?lol.....catalan was spoken only by a minority in aragon kingdom..concretely in. cataluña part a part that was not so important in aragon history...
I am Spanish and thanks to this video I will not have to explain again and again the same things about my country. I think you have covered pretty much of it and I appreciate it. I will share this with my English speaking friends. Thanks guys good job!
What a GREAT video, guys! As a Spaniard, I'm more than glad to finally watch a video about Spain that tells the truth about how we are. Not all Spanish are religious, certainly not all of us take siestas everyday (ojalá) and not all of us love flamenco and bullfighting. I loved every single word you guys said. Gracias por hablar tan bien de España, con sus pros y sus contras. ¡Un abrazo, vagabrothers! :)
I love how well educated you are on this and how clearly respectful you are to the land and people. I would be very proud if someone talked about my country that way!
I love how you guys dive in to the history and culture of places, adds so much more value to a travel experience rather than just listing Instagram worthy spots. lots of respect :) keep it up
I’m in Salamanca right now for a month traveling outside of the country for the first time and I feel that I can truly appreciate the pronunciations of Ibiza and Barcelona at the beginning now. Guay video mi amigos.
I'm 16 and I just returned from my 6 weeks of solotraveling. These guys inspired me on traveling and I'm really proud of myself. Everything that he says is totally true. At such a young age I understand such stuff and totally agree with him. I'm creating UA-cam channel in order to inspire people on traveling. Unfortunately, people are afraid of it but that's one of the best things in the world. I want to ruin this myth and this is my goal for the nearest future. Wish me good luck, brothers :)
You guys are incredible. The emphasis on history and the cultural respect are really really fantastic and deeply appreciated. Thank you for this and all of the hard work you put into your videos. I'll be showing this to all of my friends traveling to Spain with me. There will be a quiz to make sure they watched through til the end. :)
Yo! My gf is a Spaniard, so August we're going to take a trip and do el camino de santiago so I can learn about her culture! I've been doing a bit of research so I don't embarrass her, and this really helped, especially since you cover the different regions! Love and appreciate you guys, Chris
vagabrothers Very similar program through a company called Comodin Barcelona! And absolutely, I'm going to take full advantage of all your travel tips. Definitely going to try and visit the Basque country as well!
Guys, you know mainly Catalonia and the Basque country - just 2 of the 17 provinces. They are amazing of course but Spain has soooooo much more to offer.
Oh you guys, making videos just for me :P I moved to Spain in March, teaching in San Sebastian and now Seville, and blog about the places I visit when I can. This video is a fantastic overview of the Spain experience for beginners.
I am spanish and I learnt some facts with your video, thank you. Although I wanted to say that we eat paella everywhere in Spain. I live in Madrid and I have had some nice paellas here. We cook paella every sunday in my house and other houses do it too. Some people do kisses in the actual cheek but we don't consider it weird. Everyone does it different haha. Men don't do 2 kisses, we shake hands. It's true that you'll see PDA and when we talk we are quite loud (sorry). Have a nice trip!
We visited Malaga, went to Chorro and hiked the Caminito del Rey, Granada, Barcelona, then up to Pamplona to catch a bus to St Jean Pied de Port in France. From there we hiked the Camino de Santiago to Santiago de Compostela. Then to Madrid to before we flew back to the States. An absolutely amazing 2 months.
As a Latin American born in the U.S wanting to visit Spain this video makes me want to reconsider. The food and culture is so different from Latin America
To have paella outside of Valencia doesn't have to be precisely a tourist trap. I come from Cádiz, Andalusia, close to Jerez which is mentioned in this video and there are plenty of good restaurants that offer paella around this area. It usually doesn't strictly stick to the original valencian paella recipe but it is pretty good. Paella has many twists around Spain and they are all amazing :D Anyways really enjoyed this video about my country, you got it perfectly!
I am from spain and it's an amazing video! You couldn't have explained it any better 👌👌🤗 i would also say that most people are never punctual, and do expect them arriving from 15 to 45 min late, but it depends on the person. A trick when meeting up is always to tell them to meet up 15 min before the time you had in mind.
Going to Malaga & Granada for the first week of September!! I'm so excited as this is my first vacation out of the U.S.!! Your video came at the best possible time! Thanks soooo much!
Love it! I’m in Spain right now as an au pair and can’t agree more with what you’re saying. I had a conversation with the family I’m staying with this morning about bullfighting and if animal rights should be taken over tradition. Can’t wait for the next video!
Thanks for the history facts! I think people should learn the history of the place they are about to visit, it truly makes the trip more special. You guys are the best💖
For those looking to do some reading, For Whom the Bell Tolls by Hemingway is set in Spain during the Spanish civil war. A Farewell to Arms is set in Italy in WWI. Great videos guys!
Carlos Ruiz Zafon is one of my favorite authors. My language teacher from high school let me borrow that book and I have read several of his books since.
As a Spaniard I have to say: Great job! really... a lot of youtubers (and people) don't understand all the things you guys perfectly explain... thank you!!
Gracias!!
It’s because they lived in spain
I lived in Spain (Madrid) last year from January till the end of July and it was the best experience of my life. I cannot wait to go back...

Going to Spain in March, after 20 videos this one was by far the most helpful. Cheers!
I love Spain, the culture, the food, the people. Been to Madrid, Malaga, Barcelona and Valencia. All beautiful cities...would love to go again after the crazy COVID is over.

Inquisition was born in France. I still can feel the influence of the black legend british made up years and years ago. Nice video tho
Maybe . But unfortunately we took It to another level.
This is why I am honoured to call Spain my new home for almost a decade.
I love how you guys dive in to the history and culture of places, adds so much more value to a travel experience rather than just listing Instagram worthy spots. lots of respect :) keep it up

Isabel the catholic was pressed by the Catholic Church to stablish the inquisition. In fact was born in France not in Spain.
