Many thanks for this posting. My great grand parent are buried up in the Nine Mile Cemetery and my grandmothers first husband. My grandfather worked as a line man and my grandmother taught school in Wallace, so I feel you made this film just for me.

Thanks for making this nice film about the Tiger Hotel. My great Aunt Hettie worked at the Beanery.

I was just there earlier today. It sucks you cant really explore the buildings due to them being welded shut but I guess it's for safety

Where did you get all of these pictures? I am an intern for the company Garvis Tech and I have been tasked to find info and visuals on burke and its surrounding towns. If you could please tell me where to find these photos I would greatly appreciate it.

I believe I know of an abandoned mine way up the mountainside. My dad found it in the 1950s, and in the 1970s he showed us kids. The mine looked like it was from the late 1800s, had a horizontal shaft, and was once a working mine. The mountain road that we used to get there in the 1970s is no longer seen, brush and trees have overgrown it. But if you know it's there, you can see the outline. I haven't been there since 2005, as I had a spinal cord injury and am paraplegic. I can't get up to it, need some help. Are there laws that apply to abandoned mines owned by Hecla or Frisco or Sunshine...if they haven't been worked in a 100 years or more, are they considered abandoned? Appreciate any advice or help, thanks for posting the video.
