  • With the waves that #vickykaushal is causing with his #bollywood dance moves and the odd song that just dropped with #triptidimri , I wanted to talk about what's become obvious regarding female actors and the journey they have to embark upon with commercial cinema. This is true for #telugu cinema too, with the recent absurd music video of an upcoming film that just dropped! I hope you like the Janam Review & Analysis | Tripti Dimri | Vicky Kaushal | Ravi Teja | Age Gap Problem

This is really strange. Many people are trolling Tripti for doing films like Animal and Bad newz. But when she was doing films like Laila Majnu, Qala and Bulbbul no one appreciated her. After seeing her in Animal, people have made her national crush.

Even Sadhguru said “If a woman wears what she wants to wear it’s good but if a woman wears something because that is what sells, then it’s a problem.”

The fact is Karan johar will never cast Alia Bhatt or jahnvi kapoor for roles like bad newz or even Lust stories. For that he’ll go to kriti sanon, kiara advani and tripti dimri. Why couldn’t have he cast kiara advani or kriti sanaon in Rocky or rani. Alia was ill suited to carry off that kind of role. All of dharma’s b grade projects will go to tripti from now on. Tripti in all the departments scores higher than the nepo kids, looks talent, glamour and is a threat to their PR generated popularity

'Animal' made Tripti Dimri an overnight star.. pretty similar to what happened with Mallika Sherawat after 'Murder' (2004). The only difference is that in 2004, erotic scenes were taboo.. and now, they are normal. Also, Mallika Sherawat wasn't supremely talented.. Tripti Dimri, on the other hand, is genuinely talented. I think she will move past her sex symbol image.

Also another disturbing trend I've noticed is that people like Ileana, Genelia, Tamannah, were supposed to be in their "prime" when they were between 18-25 that's it and if you go back and see the roles they did back then it's just cringey and borderline disturbing.... Overly focusing on their bodies and navel for some random reason and they were romancing actors twice their age back then and now these actresses aren't getting those big movie roles anymore as they're "older" but the old actors who were romancing them are older now, still getting big roles and movies but now romancing actresses even younger than them..... As the age gap widens it's the actresses who are phased out and replaced not the old men

I have a huge respect for a star like Vijay Sethupathi decided to not romance with young ladies and unnecessary catering for those male Gazes. That should be an example for all male stars in Indian Cinema.

I still remember that when Parineeti and Sonakshi first launched, their weight and how they will reduce it was a topic everyone were discussing, even in award shows and interviews. And I was so confused that why are they talking about weights of women who are by no means unhealthy. That's when little old me realized how much Bollywood desires that zero figure. So yes, being sexy and thin is more important for Bollywood than acting.

Tabu is a great example of fighting against temptation of glamorous roles. She was not counted among mainstream actresses like Madhuri, Shridevi, Karishma, Rani and so on. She relied on her acting talent. But now, Tabu is the one getting the most limelight out of the 90s actresses.

I find it hypocritical that whenever the topic of older men romancing younger women comes up, nobody mentions SRK and Deepika. He's 21 years older than her, old enough to be her father.

It's a harsh truth that it's not Tipti's acting skills which MADE HER NATIONAL CRUSH.

The hindrance between fame and women is just her clothes. Unfortunately that's how the market is functioning. You can be Nandita Das, Minal Rohit or PV Sindhu but they will be never rewarded or celebrated. Still moral policers will question why are women exposing too much these days. But they are the ones who are getting rewarded.

I think Vidya Balan tried to balance the regressive nature of the male gaze by making it a highlight to watch The Dirty Pitcure and at the same time provided a decent representation of objectificaton of women in her film. It's the perfect balance of making a viewers turn up for a movie then shaming them for their thought process.

Growing up i used to think actresses are mostly dumb for having such small roles. Now maturity is realising the roles are created for them by writers and directors and in some cases even actors ensure the actress dont get any meaty part, at the risk of being overshadowed. Sad truth, and the audience dig it. Its more prevalent in regional cinemas.

Damn at least you spoke about it . I feel Tripti dimri is so talented but maybe animal gave her fame but we all know it was sadly not for her acting skills😢. And are these producers and actors still in 2010s era I mean wtff.

To be honest, this approach of Indian cinema will only continue to harm itself. What cringes me the most is that this is the same audience who will cry about Oscar discrimination to india at nights just after watching actors like SRK in Dunki. Can someone really say with their conscience that Srk was okay choice for Dunki. What i laugh more is that this audience even destroyed a talented actor like Hrithik and just made him an eye candy greek God. Anyway, continue to do so as you all wish bcz this wil be the bane of you. And now dont say that you people don't care about Oscars, bcz last year all india was celebrating when RRR won in a minor category like original song.😂😂😂😂

When the day women fills half the theatre on first day first show. Cinema will change. Cinema is a subset of society's reality
