Transformers from 1986 is an absolute classic. My childhood movie. The intro with Unicron still raises goosebumps to this day.
My childhood favorite movie. The epic voice guy has a great Optimus Prime voice and he can be the true successor to Peter Cullen
Jon Bailey has voiced several projects for Hasbro as Prime. (Jon Bailey is Epic Voice Guy BTW)
It's funny that they keep saying that Arcee was the only female transformer when they had a whole group of them in the series.

The Touch was only used twice in the film.
Also referenced the Allicons as Sharkticons.... this Honest Trailer wasn't totally accurate

One error in the Honest trailers. The first play of 'The Touch' is when Prime arrives. THe one with Danny on the skyboard is 'Dare' by... Stan Bush.
I actually own a DVD copy of this movie. heh
After transformer, i watch another program, call Robotech it was the best one to my time as a kid

If you don’t know, there is a generic version of a transformer call go bots
Go-Bots wasn't Generic. It was Tonka's Robotic toyline. It even had a show called Challenge of the Go-Bots. The reason Go-bots failed is because Tonka bought Kenner, couldn't pay off their Debts and were then bought by Hasbro. Hasbro has used some of the names and Likenesses from the Go-bots line since then. (The even made a subset of toys called Go-Bots twice. One were small toys in the G2 line, the other were for younger kids put out under the Playskool subsidiary) In Transformers Armada Megatron's Mini Con was name Leader 1. They also Released a Decepticon Crasher (which looked like the Gobot and was made from a Retooled/Repainted Mirage)
Bandai has released versions of the original Go-Bots molds under the line Robo-Machine (Which was the line Tonka licensed the toys from.) They could do this internationally because Bandai owned all the tooling and rights to the toys. They just don't carry any of the Go-Bots names.

Such a great classic film from my childhood years. The song "The Touch" by Stan Bush for the film is amazing. Try watching it sometime Bunny :D Peter Cullen, who does the voice of Optimus Prime and Ironhide is a legend. He's also done the vocals for The Predator. "Dare To Be Stupid" song was by Weird Al Yankovic. Bunny please watch the Willow movie.

I was out of transformers when the idiots decided to kill off Optimus Prime. In season three they brought Optimus Prime back for one episode he was a ghost. Then brought him back towards end of the fourth season. It was too little too late. If they kept him back in season three maybe the show would've lasted a few more seasons. For being stupid you get what you deserve.
Yeah Back in the 80's they just wanted to churn new toys. They didn't know how attached the kids were to Optimus.
