What I really like about the first episode of Murder Drones is how we were introduced to them. The dissasembly drones, or the murder drones, are very maniacal killers with vampiristic traits. I love their character designs with the giant blade wings, multiple differet weapons, acid tails, and sinister smiles. When I saw the first episode for the first time, I thought of them as like vampire, robot, angels of death. I like the fact that their not mindless. Uzi was shocked when N spoke, saying, "Holy crap, it talks." What I find the most interesting about them is that they drink the oil from worker drones when they kill them so that they can survive because they have an overheating issue. N is the lesser evil of the 3 dissasembly drones, but he seems to enjoy that part of his job the most.
Funnily enough,in the german dub,the murder drones are referred to as ,dark angels'.

I’ve only just gotten into this series in the last couple weeks, and it does not disappoint. This first episode has some cool stuff, like introducing Uzi as the rebellious, angsty teenager protagonist and befriending N, who’s the oddball of his trio of disassembly drones; it’s a cute dynamic with the two. J is, probably, my favorite of the disassembly drone trio; she has a cute look, just saying. V’s a real ravager. I like how this really sets the series in motion so far. Khan not lifting a finger for his daughter was disheartening, but I do like Uzi striking out on her own with N and hatching that whole scheme with the laughter.
I folded. I’m watching murder drones to see why everyone’s obsessing over it.

"Absolute Solver" is apparently blocked by administration "CYN", but I'm not sure what either of those mean.
if I had to guess "Absolute Solver" probably acts as something to restrict what the robots are capable of doing, such making sure they are unable to go killing humans as long as it is set to false. they would be intelligent, but with absolute solver false, they can't go too far against their code...

@@professionalsleeper6281 well I mean, that wasn’t Uzi’s original goal. She just wanted to get revenge on the murder drones. But then she thought intelligently for 2 seconds and realized humanity wouldn’t stop with one squad, the rest on the planet would come for her, the ones up in space will come for her. So why wait around? Take the fight to humans and finish it all is a way better plan than waiting to die.
Yeah hoestly why be afraid of robots when humans area already perfect anti-human weapons.

Good show, extremely underrated. Hard to understand plot but use your head a bit and watch it over and you’ll understand.
One thing I must add, the fandom is extremely overbearing and cringeworthy at times. don’t let that stop loving the show though! it has great storytelling and amazing characters with just enough time between episodes to make you guess and think about what's next.
If you do believe in the fandom and want to be in it, I respect that. But remember to keep your opinions clear and respectful I.e.
do NOT try to antagonize The Amazing Digital Circus or any other show that you think infringes on the work. it only scares others away from the fandom and shows that the fandom shouldn’t be talked about to and the show should be shunned. Why do you think viewership dropped so much?
I’ve seen too many people getting petty fights over the reasons that they hate the other. I.e. because of popularity, creative differences or competition. What really makes others see, and enjoy this show for what it is; is supporting Glitch’s projects (wither it be TADC, MD or etc). It’s a win, win for everyone cause we all can reach the common goal for the success of our favourite show. Remember Co-opetition(1) is great for both sides bois!

NO IT’S NOT. Murder Drones has racked up over 125 million views it is an incredibly valuable asset to glitch, They wouldn’t bail on the one show that put them in the big leagues.

It's also great for budget animation! Getting a skin texture to look consistently good is a pain (I know Glitch has done human stories before and did okay) but metal is practically the default texture in most 3D software. Doubly wise people.

The very specific lines that no human would ever say, such as "Classic toxic masculinity, Chad" "What are you in for, testosterone too hard?", "That's so not the vibe", "I'm an angsty teen fad, bite me", "Put that conventionally attractive male down", "I'm not mad at you, just generally hormonal" (which doesn't even make any sense), really help

I think the reason the sun kills the murder drones is that the humans wanted to make sure that these heavily weaponized robots didn't rebel against them.
they could still escape at night. plus, they're playing to the vampire stereotype, but robots.
It would actually be far easier because humans are so vulnerable at night: exhaustion and lack of vision.

it's absolutely worth it to pause every time a line of text appears in this show. i'm on my 3rd rewatch, which is specifically focusing on reading lines of text and analyzing things more thoroughly than i did the last two times. this episode has a bunch of details in text that are hidden. like, after J slaps N to recalibrate him, one line of text says "COOLING IT WITH THE //CHAR TRAIT>LOVABLE IDIOT// TROPE", and i don't need to mention the ""ABSOLUTE SOLVER" BLOCKED BY ADMINISTRATOR "CYN"" line that follows shortly after.
there's a LOT of little details in this show that makes it absolutely worth rewatching multiple times, i guarantee you'll pick up something you didn't notice before

You know, no one ever really acknowledges us film crew. We disguised ourselves as doors so that they wouldn't bother us. (You'd be surprised how anti-door those drones are. . .) Nat really got a kick out of this comment too though, mainly cuz that super rude one kicked him thinking he was a door. (You'd be even more surprised at how strong those things' legs are, like, damn.)

"That's so weird, why would you do that?!" I love doing anything! It was one hell of a ride too, with the flying and nearly being decapitated and all. . . But hey, I'm open to new things I guess.
The only problem is I'm still there?? They said there's gonna be more episodes so. . . At least I brought snacks and N feeds me plenty! (What surprised us _both_ is that oil actually tastes kinda good!) Also, I think I fainted a few times? I can't remember the last three hours of my life! Ah, but I'm sure that'll sort itself out. 😁

I don't know why everybody hates stuff by GLITCH? I've watched most stuff by them, and it takes a lot of time, and it's amazing. It's also hilarious how in some series', they break the fourth wall sometimes. Haters, I would like to see you make a masterpiece worth $548.7 million.

Fun fact! At approx 3km/s, a projectile no longer needs an explosive warhead. Its kinetic penetrator on impact converts itself into explosion of its equivalent mass in TNT.

Fun fact (don't read If you don't want spoilers!): At 22:48 you can see Uzi getting the absolute solver eye which means she had it since the pilot and not since ep 3 (I was stupid enough to believe that she got it in the ep 3 at doll's house)
Fun fact: the disassembly drones are made to overheat if they don’t kill the workers (for oil). This serves also as a self destruct for when their job is done (when there’s no workers left)

So um this is my 5th time watching all the episodes on murder drones (except episode 8 which isn’t out yet) and except episode 5 bc it’s not my fav.
Anyways I can’t tell if I’m hyper focused on this show bc of my adhd but it’s definitely a comfort show
Now I was prepared for everything to go horribly wrong and everyone to start dieing, but uzi wanting to kill all humans and being shown to be able to have a possibility of becoming a murder drone? Now that's the kind of great writing I expect from only Liam Vickers himself!
The twist at the end nd was wild, I was not expecting that at all

One thing I noticed about N that's pretty darn cool and makes him pretty intimidating.
Despite his kind-hearted, calm, nervous/socially awkward and adorable personality, his lights always stay yellow (besides the orange one on the top right of his head after he took a rail gun to the face which quickly reverted back to normal) symbolising that, no matter how chill he is at the time, he's always got that subconscious murderous intent.
I could be completely wrong on this but still. If it is the case then hoo boy.

@@skylightdarkseal9517 maybe they were made to look such a way to demoralize the worker drones? with how much personality the murder drones have its safe to assume JCJenson would know about the workers being able to either mimic or have real emotions.
Another option is that since this is all related to a big company, its plausible that a different company had made and sold the murder drones, and their designs were simply part of their brand or marketing
Also when N was talking to Uzi in the ship, about injesting the worker drones' oil

The second episode alludes that the humans turned worker drones into disassembly drones, V looks like she was the one most reprogrammed since she’s the most murderous and unstable looking
Murder Drone is definitely my fav indie animation series. I've spotted some animation errors throughout the show but it's still amazing! 👏👏👏 Especially love Thad in this ep. Also it would be interesting of Glitch were to remake the pilot. Of course it would be awesome to see all the improvement. Most likely won't happen tho.

the writings a bit amateur alongside worldbuilding and story telling, but the animation is fantastic. Wouldn't call it "better" though.
Animation in this is really fucking bad I hate to say on surface level is good but like wow the clipping the weird mouth thing with N they really are living up to the name glitch production

Well, if you take a look at the channel content you´ll see that the GLITCH itself uploads the characters of its own series here on youtube sometime after the first pilot, so is almost sure that the same is gonna happen to this series unless something really unexpected happens,

I find it funny that the other disassembly drones pride themselves on being more useful than N even though they can't even get past Khan's functionally useless doors since the building it's built on was so fragile that N and Uzi can simply cinematically fly out of there with little to no effort.
Also they have three doors, but the control panel to open all three is behind the first one and there are ventilation ducts that make the third one useless 😅

While Uzzie’s father definitely is made out to be cowardly and “bad”. From his perspective it’s quite painful, having to put down his own wife, watching friends and family get slaughtered. His only outlet for that PTSD is the doors, he hooked onto them as a symbol of hope, like a drug addict getting a dose after months.
He couldn’t protect his daughter cause he was irrationally afraid of having to potentially watch her die. And After thinking he left his daughter for dead and being backed into a corner, he irrationally grabs onto the one idea that gave him hope.
But the really painful part is he lost his daughter in a different way. He lost his daughter’s respect, and now bears the guilt of leaving her for dead. He cares for her, he deeply does. But #1 Dad does take a bit more than just care in a life/death situation.

Even if that's not the case. It seems that he's a respected member of society and almost in a leadership role. If you look at it from a ruler perspective. He thought his doors would be enough to save everyone else. even if it meant leaving someone he cared for behind. "Do you save one person or do you save them all?" That would lead into the trolley question. You have a group of people tied to the tracks and one person on the side of a different set of tracks. A out of control trolley is flying down and you could save the group of people by flicking the lever. What do you do? Flick the lever and kill one person or leave it alone and let the group of people die? He could have leaped for the gun but if he misses or gets killed he fails his job and effectively chose to kill even more bots.

Someone else pointed this out, but when the pilot starts, all worker drones have one set of flat teeth, but when Uzi is sitting in the sun, her teeth are jagged, just like a murder drone. When she had the nanites deactivated, her hand was also fixed. It appears that she is turning into a disassembly drone, slowly.
