Do you mean how the design came together? If so, I just found the design already like that in Design Space! Otherwise, I'm not 100% sure I understand your question. But I'm happy to help so let me know :)
Yes, you can! You just have to apply it on a cutting mat. With the Smart Vinyl, you can cut it without the cutting mat. Let me know if you have any other questions- always happy to help!
Thank you! You can use any vinyl, but if you use regular vinyl you will need to apply it on a mat- whereas you can cut smart vinyl without a mat :) hope that makes sense!
I didnt think you could do a multicolored decal on the joy thank you for this video im new to all this whered you get the image was it free? Do u mind me asking what is cricut access?
The image is from Cricut Access! You can learn more here: cricut.com/en_us/cricut-access.html? - but it's a paid subscription that gives you access to all of Cricuts images and fonts.
Thanks for watching, Amy! I'm pretty sure you can- you just have to place them on a cutting mat like you normally would! We'll try it out and get back to you shortly to confirm. :)
Do the tips of your design start to peel up? And if the do, do you use anything to set them down better? I have 2 small decals on my case that have a fair amount of points, and I've found it peeling up in my pocket.
You can try sealing with either mod-podge or water-based polyurethane (sometimes called polycrylic!). That may help with it peeling up. Unfortunately, the smaller the design the higher chance of it peeling up since it only covers a tiny surface area. Make sure to really push down well with a scraper tool!
I have never cut teckwrap holographic vinyl before, but I bet if you reach out to their customer service team, they might be able to suggest a cutting setting! Otherwise, I would try Cricut's holographic vinyl setting, see how it cuts and then go from there :)
I don't have any experience with this at all, so I have a question that probably sounds a bit odd to those who do this a lot. When you use the adhesive vinyl, is there anything you have to do to ensure that the adhesive lasts longer? I keep imagining that the adhesive will reach a point where it will no longer stick to the surface where you put it. Also, is there a way to minimize waste? I see, especially for tiny designs, you seem to waste a lot of the material when you weed it.
Great questions! Yes, eventually adhesive vinyl will wear and tear- especially when it gets a lot of traction, like on a cell phone case. If you use permanent vinyl, it is a LOT stronger than removable adhesive vinyl. It's created to withstand outdoor elements, so it would be perfect for something that gets a lot of wear and tear! However, if you want to change your vinyl often, then you would want to use removable vinyl because it is really hard to remove permanent vinyl. As far as saving vinyl, you could always trim around your design to help reduce waste! Thanks for watching & let us know if you have any other questions. Hope this helps!
Here's a few random thoughts that may/may not be helpful :) - Make sure you are scraping on both the front and the back of the transfer tape/vinyl combo! - When you remove the transfer tape, start in a corner, pull down at a 45-degree angle. - If you're finding that one corner isn't working for you, try a different corner or a different angle. - If you're using a thicker vinyl like glitter/shimmer vinyl, you may want to try a strong transfer tape like StrongGrip transfer tape. - Sometimes when I'm pulling down on the 45-degree angle and the vinyl is having a hard time sticking, I'll push it down with my finger nail or weeder tool to help get it started. Once I do that, then it usually is fine the rest of the way. I hope some of that was helpful. Let me know if there's any other way I can help!
We do not! Permanent vinyl is meant to last 2-3 years and should be hand washed only. You are more than welcome to try a sealer, but we do not apply a sealer typically. The vinyl is pretty tough!
If you're referring to the Design Space app on your phone or tablet, click on the part of the design that you want to change the color, then click on "Edit" in the bottom panel. Make sure "cut" is selected, then click on "Linetype" and then you'll be able to change the color from there! Hope that helps :) if you're looking for instructions for Design Space on a computer, just reply here and we'll send those over too!

Yes, you can definitely do that! You definitely can apply vinyl onto coasters 🥳️
