After looking for the answer to this question as it’s been asked multiple times I finally found her response which is ‘try not to get the sticker wet and just wash the inside’ now I’m wondering if that’s why they came out with the mug machine? So many machines . No point in making something if it’s going to peel away. Just like the iron on tshirt I had a friend make me and the letters started peeling after 1 wash. Ink is the way to go I think. Still wondering about cricut machines.

Did you know that when you take out your blade you can just place it on the top front against your Cricut machine and it has a magnet, so you don't lose your blade🤣 I just learned this tonight
Not sure I posted already (I was watching a number of videos last night). I asked my husband to buy me a Joy because I want to use it to cut our my own designs on watercolor paper. I can’t find any information that says it will work, but I can’t imagine why it wouldn’t based on the number of things it supposedly will cut through. I’d love to find out in case I need to return the Joy.
Hey! Yeah it should cut through watercolour paper, okay around with the card stock settings and when you go through to the cut page you can select on pressure and click ‘more’ if you need it to cut a little more xx

I have the Cricut Joy and absolutely love it but I have such a hard time with the transferring. It weeds fine but once I put the transfer tape on and squeegee it the vinyl does not lift. I squeegee for many minutes and multiple times.
Is the circuit joy all I would need to add names and such on shirts? You used a different machine to adhere the vinyl to the fabric. How do you adhere it without that other machine? Thanks.

@@crayationstation I think there is a whole section of vinyl specifically designed to be used the Cricut Joy. You can find it wherever you buy your Cricut supplies. Hope this helps. I just got the Cricut maker for Mothers Day. I wish my hubs would have just bought me this little Joy as the Maker has totally overwhelmed me! Best of luck to you on your craft projects! I actually saw many of Cricut supplies here at my local Walmart.

Yeah it can take normal Vinyl for the other machines you just put it on a Joy mat like you usually would. Only the Smart vinyl and smart materials go in without that mat. I hope that helps. You can purchase joy cutting mats xxx

You cannot weld on my version of design space as the options can't highlight nor can you save a project...help as my laptop is in for repair and cannot get Cricut design space on my Samsung Galaxy Tablet. I’d say this machine and the explore air 2 are pretty similar in terms of what they can cut. The explore air 2 is just faster but also always needs a mat, whereas the JOY has smart materials so they don’t need a Matt. The maker is the one for extensive materials and faster speed. In my opinion I think the Joy is great in comparison to the explore air 2, unless you can increase the budget to maker. Hope that helps! Xx

That's me too, I managed to get the writing done on the inside of a card but I should have changed it to landscape. Not sure how you work out the measurements

Hey, the mug i recommend hand washing :) and no, it doesn't come off the fabric - but for care and longevity, turn the garment inside out in the machine xx

Hey! You can use any crad packs, as long as you resize your design to fit on them, experiment and try different card stock xx

Yeah I LOVEEEE the Joy for T-shirt’s and iron on vinyl. It may be small but it can cut 4.2 inches high and up to 20ft long xxx
