Bologna & Spam are my guilty pleasures!!!
Fried bologna/grilled cheese sandwiches are one of my favorite things in life
So good
There is a new video about these two twins that cook a fried bologna grilled cheese sandwich and even add bbq lays chips to them. It is good eatin! They say even Snoop Dogg loves it.

Dad's beagle and his bologna sandwich. Dad had found that bologna sold in the roll in one solid chunk wrapped in red caseing, not sliced. He fixed a nice thick slice for his TV sandwich, and later I heard him cussing from the kitchen. He forgot to put up the 1.5 pound piece of bologna because the commercial was ending. Yes, he found just a well chewed red wrapping and a bloated beagle. I was laughing my head off! I said you can't blame her, you should have put it back. He told me keep talking and I was gonna walk her that night.
When I was 14 years old my first real job working for someone not family. Worked for a one-legged farmer building fence. His wife brought us lunch of fried bologna cheese sandwiches with dill pickles. I thought it was the best lunch I ever had. That was 50 years ago! Still my favorite shore lunch when I go fishing.
Thanks for sharing, it has been in many a lunch pail and papper bag
When we were children, we would sometimes have burned weeny sandwiches, split longways down the middle and blacked on both sides mayo and mustard. We weren't poor, we were Por! We could only afford one O!
Have you ever tried that with German, thick cut bologna? It is spicy and has a zing, I think you would love Kent 🎉 I always score 4 marks in the rounds to make a Maltese Cross 🤞😊 goes perfect with the German Bologna 😂 anyway that's how, and what we were brought up on. We use to fly it up in grates on my Mom's gas stove, on hot dogs. She would be mad as wet hen, but it would give the perfect crisp to the outside 😊 I have Alpha Gal Syndrome now, and am allergic to any meats, or by products. 😢😮 Kills me
60 years old, 6 year Marine Veteran and a 10 year Louisville Metro Officer and can't even be around hamburgers or hot dogs on grill, or smoking hot fajita passing my table 😢 much sadness. Fish or fowl, and plant butter and whole shabang.... 😔😞 Love Your videos Brother and Love when you give Thanks before you eat, and Honor Us the Veterans.. Your wife is a special lady and your a special ole dawg. Semper Fi 🙏❤️ Cookie, Cowboy 🤠🙏
Who needs lettuce. Great video. Oklahoma winds. Hysterical. Thank you. Great idea.
Just this past summer I introduced my grandson to grilled cheese and fried bologna sandwiches! Keep the heritage going forward!
There you go, great deal
I've been enjoying thick sliced, fried bologna sandwiches for 60 years now. Having a butcher for a Dad really helped too...
My mouth is watering. It's about 11:30 of night. Now I am starving
I love Shan chiming in and keeping you straight! You guys are the greatest.
Fried bologna is also a very underrated breakfast sandwich meat. Add some egg and cheese on toast or even a bagel and it's prettty awesome.
So good!
If it starts flying, Your Bologna is cooking.

Up there with pork roll or spam it sounds :)
Mr Kent normally I love all your remakes but this is a classic that just cannot be improved upon. The classic thin bologna fried and almost burnt with tater chips and mustard is the only way to eat a bologna sandwich 😍
I use thin sliced baloney and burn it crispy black and put gulden mustard on it. On a hard roll or even on some good polish rye. Chips and pickles. Simple but delicious!
I never got to meet my grandfather. But, every time I watch you, you are the grandpa I wish I had!
Fried bologna and a beagle running around, cant beat that. Hope you and your family have a great Christmas!
Baloney and onions = the American dream. Thanks for sharing the memories and the cooking tips.
This video took me back 50+ years when my dad would come home at 11pm from his 2nd job and we would make fried bologna sandwiches on white bread. Thank you.
Hello Mr. and Mrs. Kent Rollins; am out of the hospital, in a nursing care facility. They are treating really great. I hope to able to walk with no limp an no pain in three months. I always get put in a good mood when I watch Cowboy Kent Rollins video. They are humble, funny and comforting so God bless you Kent, Shan and those dawggies.
Bologna was a staple growing up on the Island of Newfoundland. It still is today, but holy smokes you have elevated it to inspiration. I see it in a whole new way especially with rising food prices.
my mom would fix fried bologna and biscuits and take it to the cotton field. and that's what we ate.it was good y'all love to watch you. 😊👍🍁🍂
Sounds good
so happy Kent never lose the child inside of him, THATS what makes these videos so fun to watch
Always my favorite, and thanks for dressing it up. I remember going out on brush fires and they would send out lunches on the fire line 2 balogna sammys, apple and bag of chips or a cookie. Happy Veterans day to all my Vet brothers and sisters.
We always referred to fried bologna sandwiches as hillbilly bubble steak. German bologna sliced pencil thick and to make it perfect, add American cheese, lettuce, homegrown beefsteak tomato and dill pickle tartar sauce which is basically mayo and dill pickle relish on really fresh bread. I’ll be 66 tomorrow and to this day, I’d just as soon have this, fried green tomatoes and pinto beans as I would a $40 T-bone steak.
As a fellow Oklahoman that wind hits hard at times. Thank you for the awesome recipes, cooking has really helped me get through my transition retiring from the army after 20 years. Thank you for doing the videos.
Kent,
Your bologna sandwich looks fantastic. I grew up in New Jersey and enjoyed Taylor Pork Roll, also called Taylor Ham. New Jersey folks love a fried Taylor Pork roll breakfast sandwich. The traditional NJ pork roll sandwich has fried pork roll , a fried egg, and a slice of cheddar cheese on a hard roll. Yummo!!!
Thank you Kent, Shannon and doggies, for one of your finest vids yet.
Glad you enjoyed it
true food, no crazy chemicals, no insane prep, just good ingredients and love! You just earned another fan!
This video brings back good memories of my grandma Morgan, she would always have fried bologna sandwiches for lunch and they were thick. My dad would still make them after she passed and now I do it for my kids since he passed 4 yrs ago. Thank you for the great memories
I'm Southern Born and bred..

I love garlic bologna Throw it on the grill in chunks, slice it , add the Dukes, and hamburger pickles. Ohhhsooogood. Thanks Kent and Shannon. I’ve preordered the cookbook. ❤
Cowboy Kent Rollins is a national treasure!! I just love watching your videos with my Grandma and Aunt.

I feel that I absolutely must speak out and say that swang, swangin' and swangit are all TOTALLY, legitimate words, and in fact denote a sophisticated, yet easy familiarity with all the lovely nuances of the English language. And cain't nobody tell me nowise anyhow.
Well said
Tick, tick...BOOM!
You did it again, Kent. One of my favorites, amped up cowboy style! God bless you and Shannon for these salt of the Earth videos.
We thank you James for watching
Cowboy Kent Rollins... I just sat down to two grilled bologna sandwiches, thanks to you. I've enjoyed thick cut bologna for some years....but I've never grilled it, until now. Delicious. By the way, if you look at the response on my comment for your Veterans Day video, you'll see there is someone masquerading as you, pretending to offer some sort of 'prize' for my comment. Just thought you should know.
Thanks Dean and we try and get rid of them as quick as we can
I love your doggies. They are a beautiful part of your taste-testing team. Great video as always. Keep them coming.
Our Mom would fry bacon with the bologna, so we always loved those sandwiches, thank you Kent & Shannon!
What a pleasure to watch you make and explain your delicious looking creations
Thank you so much
This takes me back. We grew up eating bologna & cheese sandwiches or a good ol pb&j. We always had the bologna from the red wrapped chub, delicious.
I'll definitely be making a run to the deli on my next shopping day. Thanks so much for dollin' up a classic from my growing up years.
I've never had bologna, but I love mortadella, which is basically just pork bologna with bits of fat. Sometimes they add stuff like pistachios but I recommend just having them plain. I honestly never thought to cook it before, you've unlocked a whole new world for me.
I sure like it fried or smoked and we do have a smoked bologna video as well
Mortadella is great. That fat help it fry down really well
I’m from Germany and Bologna isn’t even available here.
They just sell mortadella, but the Bologna looks a lot like a German „Fleischwurst“. But you only get it made from pork over here.
I love the groundedness of your efforts. Cooking at this basic level is a skill that most folks will never have. There is this knowledge of food chemistry that just works. As a cook, what you are exposing others to cooking is amazing. Passing on skills, cooking techniques and cooking principles is extraordinarily difficult to do. You rock!
I love your version! Loved fried bologna! I hope people who see this video that have never had it go on and give it a try!
I hope so too!
Tossing the bologna reminded me of when my Brother and I were younger we had little food to go around there was one piece of bologna in the bottom of the fridge some what dried up. We had no bread at the time so my Brother which was older than me went next door and asked for two pieces of bread and while the Lady was reaching for the bread she asked' What's the bread for and my Brother said it was to feed the birds so we made a sandwich split it in half and it was the best sandwich I've ever had. Thanks for the video
In our neighborhood, growing up, fried bologna was used by moms instead of bacon or sausage to feed the kiddies cheaply. It was the cheap 99cent/pkg stuff. Lol! I do occasionally still eat bologna but I do get the “good stuff” behind the deli counter. 🤣 I can’t wait to try this! Thank you, Kent!
This video brought up so many good memories from when I was a kid. Grandma would always had a fried egg and mustard on our fried baloney sandwiches. Going to have to make this again, but the Cowboy way. Thank you so much and God bless!
Hope you enjoy
Yesssss!!!! I love watching what you make and making them at home is really really amazing!
Good eating it is
I put a slice in my Balone while frying. Called it the packman sandwich. Kids loved them.
Sounds good
My favorite poor night meals my mom served us was friend bologna and cream of potato soup with rivels.
I still make it just because I like it.
Deep fry bologna & hot dogs. Browns them evenly and can even cook them until crunchy. 😉
Great Video as Always!
Kent you must have grown up in the same part of the country as a bunch of us did, Lol :) Bologna and PBJ’s is all we could ever have. And I still eat them almost everyday still, and I’m 72, want to Thank You and All Your Followers on You Tube for YOUR SEVICE. GOD Bless The USA 💯🙏🙏🙏
Aw man!! Looks amazing! I like an over easy cackleberry on there as well!!
Thanks for making the memories come back Kent!

Boy oh Boy that looks tasty. Love all your recipes. 👍
Thanks so much
Hello Mr Kent Rollins, I gotta tell you. You're one of the most charismatic UA-camrs I've ever seen. I'm from Brazil, and I've been binging a few of your videos. It's awesome to see how original you are and how you love your roots. Keeping the tradition alive is one of the best things you've been doing. How cool your channel is, keeping the little mistakes in (not editing it or making it extra pyrotechnically professional), your lovely wife comments and the stunning open fields you cook your yummy meals at. Not to mention the happy dogs and the dances you do when the food is absolutely delicious. These things are what turned you into such a loved man and makes this channel so authentic. Seeing you happy makes us all happy, too.
You, sir Kent, are indeed a national treasure. Keep on doing it until you think you can do it. God bless you and your family! 💜
NOW THAT'S A BOLOGNA SANDWICH COWBOY KENT STYLE!!!! GREAT VIDEO KENT AND SHANNON!! GOD BLESS Y'ALL!!🙏🙏
Thanks Frank and God bless you
I married a girl from Mexico just over 30 years ago and I have not had bologna since before I met her. Not sure if I can convince her to try it but this looked like fun.
We love you Kent, and your daughter!
😊
Gosh this brings back childhood memories! My mom used to make fried bologna! I think it was her answer to the more expensive pork roll. Yours truly ate bologna, lettuce & Mayo on white bread faithfully the entire year of 7th grade😂
@Bohappenstance Click Had fried bologna for decades. It was the regular bologna sandwich in 7th grade. Until I discovered pizza on Fridays 😂
We grew up on it, and good cheddar cheese
@@CowboyKentRollins Us folks who were kids in the 60’s have awesome food memories!
@@vallovesnature8449 I was a kid in the eighties and this is what my mom made a lot of times. She would pan fry it and give it some mustard on white bread.

I didn't grow up eating bologna sandwiches, so i never had a fried bologna sandwich. Gee, that sandwich looks so delicious. I can't wait to gete some thick bologna from the deli counter at my grocery store tomorrow. I just know it:d going to be gantastic. I can't smoke it, but i sure can gry it up

Kent, I've only just found your channel. I'm from across the pond in the UK but your accent, cooking and passion are wonderful. Glad to be a new sub to continue watching.
We thank you so much for joining us and appreciate you taking time to watch
Thank you Sir! You've rekindled one of my childhood's fondest memories. Seeing you prepare your smoker brought me back to when we'd gather around grandma's table as she would fry up some "thickkk", and meaty slices of bologna. I remember going to the butcher and having him cut us a chunk of bologna from the huge lug of meat. Bologna in those days tasted so much better than today's... less preservatives. When grandma sliced the bologna, they were always great, except, instead of bread, we'd have it on freshly a made corn tortillas, just off the komal that sat atop her woods fueled stove. Thanks again Mr. Rollins, from one Vaquero to another!
You're making me hungry it has been a very long time since I've had a good fried bologna sandwich that looks absolutely awesome ❗🤗🤗🤗
sitting here after work on Veterans Day, watching the best Chief on the tube. Remembering the days I was stationed in the middle of nowhere Maine and loving Thick Cut Fried Bologna with fried potatoes . Oh I am still here in nowhere Maine. Grew up with Fried Bologna and still eat it 59 years later. Love you Guys and much Respect. 🇺🇸
Fried bologna is what my grandpa taught me. The only thing he ever taught me before he moved away. It is something I always eat when I go camping.
I try to have it at least once a week, thanks for watching
Instead of Dukes Mayo use Blue plate . It’s head and shoulders better than Dukes!

Fried bologna sandwich is right up there with ground bologna sandwiches love them both in my childhood. Need more of it in my adult life.
Wow that bologna really looked awesome smoking away in the smoker along with those nice jalapeno peppers ! I've always loved bologna sandwiches since childhood and still love them today. You are right only beef bologna will do and what a delicious meal to savor with a nice glass of iced tea !
I used to be a total bologna hater thinking it was all like that Oscar Meyer stuff. I discovered thick cut, good quality bologna from a smokehouse in Texas and now I can’t get enough. That’s some good eating!!
Yummy!! You're awesome!! Thank you!!❤👏
I've never been so hungry for a couple of slices of formed pink meat slurry in my LIFE! Cowboy Kent, you could make your dog's lunch already digested once be not only edible, but have people queued up to eat it. Honestly, it's a complement. 😉
When we were kids Mom and Dad bought the big bung bologna and cut it up at home. Half an inch and she either fried it or just cold. Both were great!! God bless, take care and stay safe!!!

Thanks for the hug

Love it. Daddy was in the Air Force and we did not have much money for a family of four so this was cheap comfort food. Bologna is good eatin'! I grew up all around the world, (mostly Texas and Oklahoma). Not too much better than this. Condiments may vary a bit but thick-cut and well-crusted bologna and toasted or grilled quality bread are essential. Nuttin' like fried tube steak! Love the peppers whether Jalapenos or roasted hatch chilies...mmmm! Keep up the dancin' cuz this is something to celebrate! Good ole' Merican food.
Go Pokes!
Gary
I used to love to make bologna sandwichs with my dad he'd add cheese and a fried egg grill then in a pan with butter so delicious he's no longer with us but I'll always remember those memories
My mom and I love watching your videos we always get a kick out of it.
We thank you both for watching
It's been a long time since I had a fried bologna sandwich! This was probably the first thing I ever cooked as a kid. And we always had bologna in the house; my dad taught high school for 36 years and for almost every single day of that he had a bologna sandwich with American cheese for lunch.
I can remember my dad would make bologna and gravy. The bologna was fried and chopped then added to the gravy. Really good smothering a biscuit.
We were laughing so hard when you said “how did they get all those animals in that package”! My Mom, (bless her soul) would have loved that comment.
Your right, it’s BEEF Bologna.
God Bless and thanks for a great video!
We always use to cut our bologna 3 ways so it will fit flat on the bread but this looks delicious 😋🤗
