- In this video, we take a look at Alabama OT JC Latham, who I am higher on than most draft analysts. He is just outside of what I'd call a blue-chip prospect, because of a few holes in his game that I see. However, he is as dominant of an offensive lineman as there is in this class, and he should 100% be a day-1 starter who whatever NFL team drafts him.

I know Titans fans are here, and they want an OT, but I have the same concerns you have about Latham.
We don't need another OT who can't pass protect very well and fits better at G. I've only seen 2 games, but it sounds like I'm still gonna have a hard time finding him getting tested with speed and movement that he'll need to be able to block against in the NFL. On the positive though, I think he'd make a much better G from Alabama than Warmack lol

More great content, Sir! I was particularly interested in this player because as a Titans fan, I feel that we’re desperate for a top-notch LT to potentially line up next to Peter Skoronski. From your analysis, I don’t think JC Latham is likely to be the one to fill that role.
What do you think of him at LG if Skoronski moves to LT?
Joe Alt seems like a no-brainer, but out of our reach. I’d still appreciate your analysis on him though. Also, I would love to see your thoughts on Olu Fashanu - Penn State and Amarius Mims - GA

He's a slightly smaller, more powerful Orlando Brown. I would be very hesitant to take him, expecting him to be a tackle. Could be an all pro caliber guard though.

Jermaine Burton is a nice big play threat that could be snagged in the late 3rd early 4th rounds in my opinion. Would love a video over him

He's not. Still should be a guard but he's good. Neal was a toppling tower. 😂
Evaluators always make a huge deal if a college guy is a RT they can't play LT. I think this kid can play either side. Yea, he needs some work on technique but I'm amazed a kid with this guy's physical skills (same with Mims) can be a good LT. He is also projected to run the 40 in 4.85 and the kid weighs 360 pounds. Not that the 40 is that meaningful for OL guys but it does show he is more of an athlete than he is getting credit for. All college OTs need work with their hand and feet which is why many struggle their rookie year. He could easily end up as good as one of the top two OTs in this draft.
You're maybe slightly higher on him than most but Charlie at Walter, Draft Kings, Patriots Wire, and a few other draft sites have him 6 or 7 on their big board too.

I see a better Mike Onwenu when I watch him. I really like him as a guard, meh at tackle. Brick shithouse at pass pro as a guard but really not an outside zone guy, inside zone, gap, duo guy. Also think of him like an offensive version of Akiem Hicks

Please no Alabama OT ever Again. Between ( Evan Neal , Jonah Williams, Alex Leatherwood , Tyler Steen ) Iv seen enough of Alabama OTs He Got his ass handed to him against top tier competition against Michigan. This guy has BUST WRITTEN ALL OVER HIM. He’s a Guard in the League . No way is he a Successful Tackle in the NFL his technique and power is impressive but his athleticism and feet are below average. Something that won’t translate well in the NFL . If your looking for a Solid Guard he’s ur guy but if your looking for a Tackle I’m definitely passing !!!! N them penalties gotta get under control. Please Bengals pass he is not what we’re looking for.
