I am asking everyone to remember this series. An idealized but director's masterpiece. Perfect material for learning for other budding directors. Toshimasa Ishii is a god.
Can't wait for season 3! This marks the creation of the 86 Strike Package, a joint project with all the nations to take the fight into Legion territory.
@@VillainessAO Most likely, but more of a Season 2 really since season was divided into two parts - so called "1st cour" and "2nd cour" or a "split-cour" anime. But yeah, the 1st Season on covered like the first 3 Volumes if I'm not mistaken and overall there are like 14 Volumes (this is the LN btw) and still ongoing. But the LN too a break due to the health of the author. But since the Anime adaptation is well received. we should be getting a "Season 2" if they plan to continue it. But all that aside, there's enough source material for 2-3 more Seasons before it catches up to the LN.

I want more... hope they keep the series going until the end of the war and they have an actual happy ending. btw the way the train tracks that at the start of the anime where infinitely going into the horizon have now ended and they all meet at the end of it, that was pretty cool.
L'animé me fait souvent pleurer... ok Mais je ne m'attendais pas à ça : pleurer en regardant des gens du monde entier en react au dernier épisode de 86 ! Pas qu'1 fois, j'ai pleuré plusieurs fois (Shin et ses compagnons morts, la petite sœur qui remercie Shin comme son grand-frère voulait qu'elle apprenne les bonnes manières et la rencontre Lena et Shin). C'est sûrement le 1er animé qui me fait ça depuis longtemps tellement il atteint une certaine perfection. Je ne sais pas si c'est le 1er ou le 2ème mais cet animé est particulier, il a réussi à se terminer sur une scène inoubliable avec une belle ost mélancolique. Cette fin est la première vraie joie de tout l'anime en fait. On oublie la guerre. On oublie que la Legion va de nouveau attaquer et que de nombreux drames peuvent arriver. On se quitte avec de l'espoir !
Seriously, I don't know how many time I keep replay the ending. The scene Lena meet Shin and other 86 members is too beautiful for me.
