Just bought my 2021 RS and definitely don't let the retro looks of the bike fool you. It's quick
great :) It's really a great bike. Have fun and ride safe!
I finally got myself a 2020 Z900RS Cafe in Kawasaki green. Amazing bike with great looks and even greater mid range power. It's not a crotch rocket, but plenty fast for 90% of riders.
right, it's really a great bike. looks nice, great engine and sound and nice to ride :)
How’s your bike now after 2 years?
Just rode my brother's new z900rs today. First 4 cylinder bike I have ever ridden. Felt like a rocker ship unreal power. I thought I was a good rider, I have no idea how to handle that much power and grip.
Yeah, the Z900RS is a really nice bike. Looks good, great engine and sound and nice to ride.
great run, nice to see how fast this bike is in real time and not just reading specs. Well done sir
thanks :) that's why I do this sh** :D
Ignore the haters, this is excellent content and just solidifies how much I want one. Hopefully by the end of the year.
thanks bro :) I hope you get your bike soon ;)
Saw comments about 10.3 sec 1/4 not being possible stock, agree, but he had a good launch, & even if it’s low 11’s stock, that’s pretty damn quick for a sub liter bike. Watched guys ECU flash & pipe them getting 120HP at the wheel
I have done a new video with correct times ua-cam.com/video/yL4B8QcM_Ss/v-deo.html
I love my 2022 Zed 900 RS. I'll never get rid of it. Great ride and very dependable.
yeah, it's a great bike :) looks good, nice to ride and great engine and sound.
Dang dude that was quick. Great demo of this machines capabilities.
right, it's not so bad :)
@@mototop_ I just bought one!
@@SirSpinalColumn oh great :) have fun and ride safe ;)
My dream bike ❤. Just got my restricted license, and i have to wait 2 years before i can go for my unrestricted license. That's how it works in Australia, but when that day comes, i will get this bike 👍❤.
good choice. This bike is really good. Looks nice, great engine and sound and nice to ride ;) hope you can get it soon!
Ok thats it im off to the shop tomorrow💯👍👍👍
yeah, good choice :)
Very nice. For anyone wondering 237 kph is 147 mph. I started to get the candy green 2021 model till I saw the candy blue model for 2022 & now that is the one that I want. Cheers on your beauty of a bike.
thanks, but it's not my bike ;) But I like the candy green, good choice ;)
Great video.. Great speed.. Kind of liking this Z900rs bike. Awesome 👌🏼
thanks :) I also like this bike. Looks great, eingine and sound is also nice.
Those are pretty solid times... Ok, I want one!
fine, if my videos help.... :)
Yep. Thats a sub. Great video man. Be safe out there
thanks bro :)
Daring enough to do the speed and display it too, bravo 👏. I like the bike more now, thanks
ok great :) bute the bike is really good. It's nice to ride, great engine and sound....
Autobahn
Hi ! I have one too, honestly, on the acceleration and top speed, I don't know how you can stay on the saddle :-D I nearly ejected me from the bike several times already ! It is a great bike, I enjoy it every day !
good choice, it's really a great bike :)
It looks great, it’s comfortable to ride and it actually has some torque down low. Yes it doesn’t rev to 16 thousand but what nobody says about 600s is that the really suck down low and then are insane up top making them kinda crappy to drive normally on the street
right, the Z900RS is a great bike. Engine is perfect for dayly riding :)
Thank you for this, very informative!
that's a pleasure for me :)
Was thinking of getting this bike, but the CFmoto 800NK appears to reach 220 km/h as well. A lot cheaper and lots of things added as well.
I mean, don't get me wrong. This bike is damn amazing and the sound is delicious, but I rather make my money's worth with something cheaper but similar than have a lot more things added for less in total.
yep, buying a bike is not only about performance. It's also about emotions, design, comfort etc. :)
Is this really measured correctly? The Z900 1/4 mile in 10,3?? In your 200 HP Z H2 video did the H2 the 1/4 mile in 10,7 sek!? Something looks strange.
this old measure of mile-runs were wrong, now at Z H2 they are correct
I haven't seen a 215ish kilogram bike with 95 rear wheel horsepower do a 10.3 second quarter mile. The 219 kph top speed seems very reasonable but maybe a 11.3 to 11.8 quarter mile on a drag strip.
Need to see a drag slip to confirm that quarter mile ET. Don’t get me wrong it is a fabulous bike but a 11.3 would be great....nice riding.
you're right, in this video I had wrong distance data. Here you have correct measurement with 1/4 mile in 11,5s ua-cam.com/video/yL4B8QcM_Ss/v-deo.html
@@mototop_ You did a good job on the throttle. I'm a big fan of the motorcycles in this group. Thinking about an RS myself it would fit in nicely with my Thruxton R and R9T.
@@flatcapcaferacer oh yes, the RS model is very nice, I can recommend it :)
Do you think 220 km/h is a software limit or it can't go faster? Not that I want to go faster, just curious. If it's going faster then 190 on 5th gear, how can it gain only +30 km/h on 6th?
I have another video with 229km/h ua-cam.com/video/uxXGT_nG8Xk/v-deo.html
0-60 holy shit that was blistering!
right, not bad for a retro bike :)
1/4 mile Time seems a bit optimistic. Should be better 11.3. cause 10.3 means more than 230 as passing speed.... Not in line with the 0-200 which for sure is relevant.
you're right, the mile times are not correct. I need some new GPS measuring tools.
hello friend!
comparing the speeds with your other video of the gsx 1000 gt it looks like the z900rs is faster up to 1/4 mile.. the gsx has more hp power and yet it wasn't that far ahead of the z900rs.. is that right? how is this possible?
thanks!
hey Bro :) the 1/4 mile time at this video of Z900RS was wrong. Here you have the correct times ua-cam.com/video/yL4B8QcM_Ss/v-deo.html
@@mototop_ thank you my friend!
I just saw it in the other video and really the difference is not that big considering that they are totally different proposals!
the gsx has a very strong acceleration but looking at the time of the miles the difference is not that big.. and they are 150 hp against 110 hp...
I'm from Brazil and here we already have the Z900RS.. classic bike, beautiful.. and a kick ass engine!
in theory the GSX is about to arrive but the company representing Suzuki is taking a long time to bring it.. this year they brought the 3rd generation busa.. which is a dream too but that would be too much.. I believe the GSX serves much more!
good paths and good winds always!
@@mototop_ let me take this opportunity and ask you a question..
in Brazil the speed limit is 120 km/h.. when no one is watching sometimes we end up doubling this limit a little.. LOL
which one did you find more comfortable, the Z900RS or the GSX?
I currently own a Kawasaki VN900C and I take it everywhere.. whether it's asphalt, grass, hills, sand, etc... I love this bike but I wanted a little more adrenaline.. unfortunately in my country we have many assaults regarding high displacement motorcycles.. and the custom style is the least targeted for theft..
Thank you again!
@@primolan it's hard to say, but if you like higher speeds, the GSX GT is better because of the fairing
@@mototop_ which of the two has a more comfortable seating position, more comfortable seat? I believe the Z900 is a more upright position while the GSX is more sporty, leaning forward?
Thank you again!
How does it feel to go 220kmh without windscreen?
better than 286kmh without windscreen :D That was with the M1000R. Above 200 it starts getting hard without windscreen. It hurts the neck :)
have u done for z900? if not can you make the same for z900🙏
I've already done ;) ua-cam.com/video/3Nwu4HqDFf8/v-deo.html
@@mototop_ thanks a lot
I have one, its a great bike.
good choice ;) I like it too
Curious, does the cafe model have better wind protection and higher speed than this one?
I guess it should be little bit better. But not much.
nice launch🔥!
thanks :)
Amaizing bike , thanks for the video😮
yo :)
I’m 6’0 230 pounds would this bike be somewhat comfortable for me? I’m a Harley guy
I guess it schould be okay for you regarding height. But regarding weight I don't know.
It's ok, as long as the shotgun isn't heavier than around 120 pounds 😁
This bike is an undercovered rocket :)
maybe :) but it's more ment for cruisin ;)
@@mototop_ Right! I got the same style of bike a 2019 CB1100 EX.
Noice. Have you done the standard Z900???
no sorry, not yet tested :.(
I'm surprised that the speedometer is off by about 5% at high speeds.
the speedo of my CBR1100XX is 8-10% off at topspeed :D
Great video....Subscribed :)
thanks bro :)
Smooth, nice.
thanks :)
Solid Bike no words............😀👍
yep, it's a nice bike. great engine and sound, looks good and nice to ride :)
How did the front end feel at top speed with no damper ?
felt pretty stable
Is it have a slipper clutch fitur?
what you mean?
Great video but your 1/4 Mile seems off. To run a 1/4 mile at 10.3 sec, you should have a trap speed of around 220-225kph, your 0-200 time is almost 15 seconds which doesn’t work for a 10.3. It could be a miss typo as 11.3 would be fairly close. I could see it breaking into the 10.9s with a perfect run on a prepped track.
You're right. I have done a new video with correct times ua-cam.com/video/yL4B8QcM_Ss/v-deo.html
Nice ride.
thanks bro :)
Tengo una y espero llegar algún día a esa velocidad
Kawasaki👌👌🔥🔥❤❤❤❤
great bike the Z900RS :)
it would be interesting to compare with the cafe racer with the lower handlebars and the fork crown
I guess topspeed is about 3-5km/h faster
WOOOOOOOOOOOOOO........ GENIAL.
das Video oder das bike? :D
Nice!
Thanks :)
Is z900 faster than this one ?
right, Z900 should be little bit faster
Thank you
you're welcome :)
Very nice.
thanks :)
Goo video men!
thanks :)
With ecu reflash maybe can get 240kmh on gps?
I already got 229km/h in another video. How much hp will the ecu flash bring? What you think?
@@mototop_ ive seen someone put on a full exhaust with ECU tuning, it gained another 14hp to the rear tire at least ! figured it could add another 10km/h to the top speed :)
@@iodineclip ok, 14hp is a lot. 240km/h GPS could be possible.
Brock's performance is claiming up to 30 horsepower gain with his exhaust and ECU Flash! I know, quite the claim.
how much do you weigh?
60kg, naked :)
Now all I need to know is what is a km?
km = kilometer = 1000 meters
Nice ride.
Kawa must accurate the speedometer , because 15kmh error is not acceptable on this brands. Its the same difference that a Benelli tnt300 fron china has.
My low gamma Honda CB250 Twister, sothamerican, half chinesse, half brazilian, mounted un Argentina, only has 5-6kmh difference with GPS, quiero accurate for the kind of bike
thanks :) this is due to legal requirements that the speedometer must not show less than you actually drive. so the manufacturers let the speedometer advance.
💯💯💯
?
I have one!! Amazing bike!
Yep, has a great engine, sound and it's nice to ride :)
10.3 seconds quarter mile is crazzxy
1/4 mile was not correct :D It was 11,5s. Here you have the correct data ua-cam.com/video/yL4B8QcM_Ss/v-deo.htmlsi=aRS-IPPK678o-Aja
Quality video, but the bike underperforms to be honest. A 600cc I4 has the same speed with less weight and fuel consumption.
you mean a 600cc bike with fairing?
@@mototop_ Nah, my girlfriend's 2006 600cc Hornet does 108kmh in 1st (0-100 3.5 seconds) 140kmh in 2nd and tops at 230 speedo (215 or so real speed) [I myself ride bigger bikes]
I didn't intent to hate on your video, I like your content! 😉 I just thought the Z900 to have more of a kick.
@@christiannoble5549 thanks :) oh I guess the Z900 performs pretty well. Maybe you expected more :D
did wind blow you head off? ;)
above 200 it gets difficult :D
Was never an option these walked in kawasaki dealer look at a zh2 and now I can't make mind up when will we get the zh2rs 😂
what you mean?
@@mototop_ went kawasaki dealer look a t zh2 then seen the z900rs never considered it before and I love the look I'm asking if they going to make a h2 version of the rs 😂
@@daniswift415 oh yeah, that would be nice. But without supercharger it would keep its retro-image :)
it will be very windy to ride this naked bike on that speed!
it's way more difficult with the ZH2 :D
@@mototop_ The z900rs Cafe with the bikini fairing is a nice combination. That screen makes quite a bit of difference!
@@craigoverall1126 I know, but you have to lean on the fuel tank :)
In Germany?🇺🇸👍
right, German Autobahn :)
With my kawasaki z 900 rs I have reached 250 km per hour with a windscreen and with my head crouched behind the windshield
does your speedo show 250? do you also have it measured with GPS?
Well, that's disappointing. Liter superbikes in the Eighties were doing the quarter-mile in under 10 seconds and topping out well over 220km/h. What a drag that performance has gone backward.
can you proove it please :)
@@mototop_ My bad, it wasn't until 1998 that the Kawasaki ZX9R made into the 9's at the dragstrip. In the Eighties it was the 10's (1984 Suzuki GS1150ES, 10.94 seconds). As for top speed, the 1988-1990 Kawasaki ZX10 Ninja was top-speed tested at 170MPH (274km/h). Hell, even my old 2000 R6 would do 165MPH (265km/h).
@@OgamiItto70 can you please show me any proove that a stock ZX-9R can do a 1/4mile below 10s?
@@mototop_ I'll try, but sometimes UA-cam removes links from comments, so you may have to do some searching yourself. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_fastest_production_motorcycles_by_acceleration
@@mototop_ In case my other comment gets/got deleted, look on Wikipedia for "List of fastest production motorcycles by acceleration."
😘👍🏻
Love it but not the brown coler
What colour do you prefere?
@@mototop_ green and white ,
The black and gold cafe is awesome
It's not complete without the chrome bar on the back seat🧝🌴
Nice vid however can not be accurate. No stock Z900RS will get within a second in the standing quarter of your claim. Your data is faulty.
can you show me some official data what the Z900RS can do on the quarter mile?
@@mototop_ I own a bought new 2018 Z900RS which now has 6000 miles. There is no official 1/4 mi testing available for the Z900RS. There is qualified magazine testing of a 2018 Z900 - not the RS, the faster sibling. Reliable 10.95 time. BTW I have had the ECU flashed and my RS now pulls a lot harder in 5th and 6th than stock. I have a reasonable background with racing cars that my seat-o-the-pants meter is pretty good. 10.3 is take your breath away acceleration. which this bike is not close to.
I guess I need a second GPS to verify it.... :)
Great video. I applaud you for doing drag times when no one else is. But the I have been seeing 11.40ish 1/4 mile times reported.
@@TheOverisel Thanks :) Yes, I know that I have to buy some additional measurement equipment to get accurate mile drag time data
It is fast
Fast enough for a naked bike 😊
lots of drag, guess it can go beyond than that
of course, it's a naked bike
MotoTop yup , i said and meant too
Lost a lot of speed too because you shift too late
maybe... :)
That fucking car was going at 200km/hr fucking hell
maybe it could have reached a little bit more.
MotoTop that being said.. the z900rs is spectacular, I love everything about it
220 Km/h top speed
was yours?
This why you never buy a demo bike... Lol
Why not? Modern engines don't have any problems for high revs for a short periode
agreed but, not on a brand-new engine according to the manufacture's manual@@mototop_
