- Throw the clock away and enjoy the moment- Nigel Saunders shares his secrets to a happy and fulfilled life. I visited Nigel at his magical greenhouse in @TheBonsaiZone and we chatted about what paves the path forward to fulfill our dreams.

Great interview on what the essence in Life is, although that is also different in some way for each individual. I think this interview also gives us some insight in the beautiful mind of Nigel. I am myself a rather introvert person and enjoy to delve into deep thoughts not only my own but of others too. Izabela seem to be equally a wonderful and person and generate good vibes thru the screen and voice.

Sweden, that's so cool! Thank you for sharing, I also enjoy exploring deep thoughts and having meaningful conversations with people. It's a wonderful gift to be able to have them for me as I was very shy and introverted my whole life. Now I'm learning to speak my mind more and I'm enjoying it very much.
Great interview; good questions and good chemistry between you two. Nigel has so much to say that I'm sure you can do part 2, part 3 etc when it suits you. I also loved bringing more of a beginner's perspective to the scene. I'm hoping you can revisit the Thuja you pruned later in the season when it has grown and it is showing where it wants to go.👍

Great interview 👌,if you are looking for a great roll model , Nigel is the person! I started watching Nigel in 2018 when lovely wife bought be a set of bonsai tools . I had always grown trees in pots , and still do , but essentially just that ; trees in pots . I will never have anything as good as Nigel for the time I have left . I wish I had found him 20 years ago when I needed to slow down and have a good hobby to remove me from the world . I think it’s not stretching the idea of a legend , but Nigel definitely fits the bill
When I started, I felt like the best time to start would be a few decades ago. But we can enjoy taking care of the trees and the process. When I started 3 years ago, the world was in such a state I wasn't sure if I had 3 years. Now it's been 3 amazing years watching the buds form and tree responding to my actions, repotting, etc. It's such an enjoyable hobby. Thank you for sharing, Peter

Thank you Diana, I'm glad to hear it, we enjoyed ourselves chatting and I'm glad it can bring joy to others. The characters are chinese 盆景- bonsai and 性格- disposition, temperament, character. It is to show how bonsai shapes us, our character through the action of caring for it. That's awesome that you're studying Japanese a d was fluent in it, wow! I'm learning chinese caligraphy and really enjoy it too
I kill less trees now. Yeah that sums up my experience too.

@snox7320 i appreciate sharing your thoughts. Unfortunately there's no way for me to change it now, but I'll keep it in mind for the next edit. I'm self taught amateur and to me it sounded cool with the music, but some people found it difficult to listen to. There's always so much to learn in video editing! Maybe you'd like to watch it with subtitles only? I do that sometimes when I find the sound not appealing to me. Thank you for stopping by and commenting
