Watching from Ethiopia in April 2014. It’s such a blessing to listen to such testimony and know the book

This is relatable having an image in our minds of what our relationships should be (fairytale like) sets us up for a sure disappointment. The other person isn’t even aware of our ideas. The Christmas stockings is a relatable example, it’s great to have people who are willing to reveal these things about their personal life so that others can know the reality of life, it’s not picture perfect. The struggle is on going it’s in the small things and big things. Communication and boundaries are keys to remember. Struggle, meaning, the struggle to live in peace. The passenger respecting the drivers abilities and judgment being a boundary set and complied with. Looking forward to part 2.

Haha this message blessed me so much, every single thing was relatable! Made me laugh the whole time being convicted but hopeful at the end that this confirms it’s possible for my relationship to thrive. Thank you!

A fresh remix of historical marital difficulties. Our Bible study will be walking thru the Lia's book; and our own counseling practice will benefit with this resource.

Moving up the leadership ladder in a corporation taught me people management, conflict resolution, and appropriate communication based on situation. Business communication and leadership is a great perspective for addressing a marriage with problems.

That assumes you are dealing with emotionally mature, reasonably intelligent adults.

Was just wondering, where is the place of tolerance in the expectations that are not met?

I have a friend that grew up in church. She left the church when she was 21 years old and married a non-Christian guy 10 years older than her. They have been married for 35 years and have two nice kids. They are both successful in their careers. Meanwhile her sister who is a Christian and her sister-in-law who is also a Christian are always having marriage problems. Why there are so many marriage problems among Christians? The answer is - "Hollywood dominates the values and standards for relationship in the church".

Not only Hollywood, sometime people just need to mature a bit, and also they have no life experience (in marriage) so they have a lot to learn by their mistakes once they get married. But I believe the Bible tells us best how to live to get along in marriage. But I’m married and everything seems so easy until you have to do it!

I wish your stuff wasn’t so fluffy, fake, surface and joke-toned. I find the Daly fellow really kind of strange. There’s something off about him.
