He is the most energetic of conductors. That often implies confusing. But in his case it is exactly the opposite. Every movement is crystal clear and in the spirit of supporting the music at that point. The result is the orchestra is also crystal clear. You get the feeling that the players like him and are fully engaged. The Mendelssohn 4th he did with this orchestra is like hearing it for the first time. Stunning. What evidence do you have that her performance was objectively superior to the other flutists? I allege that it is only because of your programmed subjective gynocentric, misandrist subconscious biases that you had the cognition which impelled your comment - also possibly due to a similarly biased, disproportionate emphasis to which she was given videographically. In reality she and all the other flutists (including MALE flutists) are abundantly talented, and we are without any objective evidence as to the comparative variations in talent among the present flutists in Frankfurt on 4/17/2016.

Congratulations Maestro Orozco-Estrada for this Beethoven's Symphonies cycle! It is probably one of the best ever! I was waiting for a long time after Gardiner's for such a miracle like this... and this is a live version, Boy! Really wonderful, even the "unlucky" Horn player in the difficult bar 96 (III Mov) gave me a fantastic new thrill. Logic, organic, essential and respectful reading with a passionate Joie de vivre.Bravi!!
Hi Juan, thanks for the compliment, I'am the 'unlucky' horn player. I feel lucky now after hearing so much positive feedback. Best regards. Charles Petit.
Hi Maestro Petit, hope you took my sentence in the right way ;) you and all your colleagues are wonderful musicians and players, I just want to thank you all alongside with Mr. Orozco-Estrada for give us the opportunity to enjoy these Masterpieces (Beethoven' Symphonies) in a really fresh and powerful vision.
I'm curious: whose decision was it to have the horn and trumpet parts played on 'natural' instruments? Presumably the rest of the orchestra plays 'modern' instruments, though the influence of historically-informed performance is noticeable throughout. Have you switched to 'natural' instruments entirely for Beethoven and earlier composers? Or only when you play under Orozco-Estrada's direction? How far, chronologically, do you take this? and on what grounds? I'm not critical of this decision -- in fact, I very much like the result; I'm just curious how it came about.

Amen!!!
The flute lady needs to be highlighted, she did a great job in the solo parts
What evidence do you have that her performance was objectively superior to the other flutists? I allege that it is only because of your programmed subjective gynocentric, misandrist subconscious biases that you had the cognition which impelled your comment - also possibly due to a similarly biased, disproportionate emphasis to which she was given videographically. In reality she and all the other flutists (including MALE flutists) are abundantly talented, and we are without any objective evidence as to the comparative variations in talent among the present flutists in Frankfurt on 4/17/2016.
@@paulcosta8297: 🤣
@@paulcosta8297 Well okay. That came out rather disproportionally aggressive.
Happy anniversary 🥳 200 years Beethoven's 9th 😊
Fantastic performance made even more incredible by the conductors enthusiasm and joy for the music brilliant 👍🏼👍🏼💚
Conductors have a long life because they have fun with their profession.
Maestro Orozco Estrada is , by far, my favorite conductor. I seek him out whenever I have a symphony I want to hear. I also really enjoy the Franfurt Symphony. What a pairing. I enjoyed their performance very much (although I though the singing was a little ragged at times/)
I love the fact that he sticks to the tempo markings written in the music (and in some cases amps the tempo a little bit)
It's amazing that they used natural horn and trumpet here.
Maravilhoso. Emocionante
So nice of you to react !
What time mark is that part you’re talking about?
Excelente!
In traditional Chinese:
¡emocionante!. Kiitos Camilla, kauniisti tehty.
Impeccable execution, congratulations to director Orozco and his Orchestra.
Chills at that opening crescendo!
a beautiful version !.. ... and with Clara , feelings and emotions fill my heart with more intensity :-)...
R U in love with Clara?❤️
@@AstridCardenas-jd3fo she reminds me a nice young woman of my classroom when I was student ...☺️🥰. I was often listening Brahms Mahler Beethoven, dreaming about her.... ☺️

The best I have heard
Listen to this in a serious sound system to get the full echo affect
Simply amazing
Sencillamente magistral.
I am no expert
I do believe that this performance would make Beethoven happy
It is ‘violently done’ Beethoven style
And here, gentlemen, is the highest point achieved in Western Art.
YMMV but Wagner's Ring is #1. By a big margin imo, but this is pretty good.
Just gonna gloss over the likes of Shostakovich, Tchaikovsky, Dvorak, the big 5, Strauss, and Schumann huh?
I agree, but I would say it’s tied for first with his own last piano Sonata and Bach’s Goldberg Variations and Mass in B minor and Michelangelo‘s David and Shakespeare’s great plays
A masterpiece of masterpieces.
Simply fantastic.
Today I watched it lively in Kultur palast in Dresden, wow that was impressive, incredibly beautiful and amazing. I'm shocked.
