I bought one of these gadgets and found it completely useless. I watched the video in case I was doing something wrong. We have core tests that were done in a laboratory on some bad concrete walls. Some were bad, some were very bad. We tested this gadget beside the best and worst of the locations, and the results were more or less the same regardless of the location!

i noticed that the reading is dependent on how much you smooth the surface, i was getting similar readings on similarly prepared surfaces. Didn't seem to be accurate for me
