    Sent chills down to my heels when I saw that endo. Man, no fun there!
    AJ your videos help so much! I get zero practice time and only really race once a month this year, at most, (harescrambles) but it seems like every turn there's a voice in my head referencing something you've mentioned in a video. From not sitting until after the last braking bump to keeping elbows up, whatever it may be, it's so helpful! Hope to take a class one day. Thanks again!

    How about we all show our appreciation for all the information AJ is sharing with us to help us become better riders with a simple $2 a month contribution to his Patreon account to help him keep these videos coming. It's obvious AJ puts a lot into his instruction. Let's let him know we appreciate it. That $2 a month donation won't really be missed by us but will make a big difference to him.

    Man can’t believe this was 2 years ago now aj will be proud to know I do not ever take my feet off pegs around this turn or really any of them! It took me a while to get comfortable with it but I have!

      How much has your riding improved in 2 years?

    • @Tyler.56
      @Tyler.56 Рік тому +1

      @@bunnyman6321 yes for sure helps. Keeping two feet on makes you find your balance on the bike the fast guys can put three foot out because they are already comfortable on bike. When I started keeping feet on pegs It made me hit the turns properly instead of dabbing my foot and messing it all up. Honestly it helped me be a better rider my only issue now is I am 28 with a baby and wife so I am conservative on hitting jumps and things like that because I always worry about getting hurt. If I got over that I would be so much better. But when I started with Aj I could not make it half a lap around tomahawk without almost crashing because I never had rode tracks until I was older. It’s amazing the stuff you learn

    Excellent again thank you. Im a very tentative jumper, I just struggle with the confidence to commit. I must not have enough approach speed and always fall short of the landing. I am also afraid of the kicker, or any ruts on take off ramp. The more tips you can show would be so valuable!

    • @Tyler.56
      @Tyler.56 4 роки тому +2

      I’m the one on the Yamaha in the video and it’s all about correct body position too keep you safe chest forward head forward and full commitment. His GoPro died so he didn’t get as many of my runs on the step up. But I got close a couple times but I wasn’t getting enough speed even though felt like I was hauling ass. But aj has taught me the correct body position to be In and I could case that jump safely!

    • @Tyler.56
      @Tyler.56 4 роки тому +1

      Yea that’s exactly how it feels lol. Best advice I could give u is record one of the fast guys hitting a jump that your wanting to jump then have someone record you tryiNg to jump it 2-3 times. Then go back and listen to the guys bike sound who cleared jump and listen to your bike in videos. You will be surprised to realized how your getting off the gas too soon or aren’t on gas hard enough at all. When I watched the videos back I was super mad at myself because if I stayed on gas for 10 more feet i would have cleared thah stepup with ease

    At my track, I see many riders attack the jump and lay off the throttle at the face of the jump, but I also see many that take off with smooth throttle. My question is: on a jump where possible, should we be aiming to take off the jump coasting? I'm fairly certain that there is a time and place for both techniques but I'm just wondering if you can comment on when to use each technique and which we should practice as beginners, intermediates, and advanced riders? Thanks for all the great videos!
    Also, what go pro mount do you use?

    • @AjCatanzaro
      @AjCatanzaro  4 роки тому +1

      You really want to just be smooth throttle all the way off jump face. For high level riders, there’s times we have to coast there last bit of takeoff or even brake aggressively on the takeoff
      I use the Dango Mount
